I have always been a fan of Greek mythology.
and this is a fresh take on it. it's similar yes but it has that a what if kind of scenario.
I don't ask you to appreciate or approve of it just cause but it is a fresh take from the rest of the novels. there is no bs or unnecessary harem here. MC has clear drive and we learn something about him that explains all of his actions all now and then. the plot dabbles in whatever it can gets its hands in. from the apocalypse to time travel to alternate timeliness to monsters to shadows to God's. it is good. it is consistent this is what I like most here
mc is uncompromising and always on the learning curve. the stuff he has been through and is going through is so inhumane makes you wonder how a normal person in thus age could persist on still. but he does and he explains it well. and everything is connected.
all this piece needs is a bit of imagination from you. and you will feel immersed in the narration and battles
I am not very good at explaining and I can see it. so just try it. you won't say I led you astray.
I initially loved this novel as it gave me a TAPOV vibe, which I love. Certain arcs, such as the one with Daniel Caelum. could be a book in itself. This novel has the ability to elicit emotions which is hard to find these days.
However at some point in the story, the author lost the plot and suddenly the MC is way more powerful than the protagonist and he's suddenly 100,000,000,000,000 years old mentally. Maybe the story can bring it back but the scope of the verse is already lost.
I still don't get the drive behind MC motivation to get stronger. It is changing. Is it good or bad? Anyway if you have read Advent of Three Calamities or Author's POV, you will feel that the vibe is familiar. Or maybe the way the plots are mapped out? This is the wildest and most outrageous series regarding the pacing of MC strength and plots. It goes like 1-2-3-5-99-100-100.2-103. I am not joking. It is good but wild. The lore is solid at least from what I have read. It deals with Time in the most amazing way I have ever seen. The power system is good but get a little convoluted at the latter parts, not to the extent of being bad. Characters are over loaded. There are so many characters that didn't need backstory or details. But the author did it anyway. Maybe he has some plans? Although not harem there are so many female characters. Definitely recommended.
This is peak type of story, the author has a habit of going into too much detail for some fights and stretching them sometimes but it is fine, the story either progresses like 1->2->3 or 3->4->12->15->35
Sometimes the jumps are too wild, there is a lot of time mumbling and most of the side characters aside from mc gets forgotten or has no use in the story currently and the funny thing is Sometimes a rather extra side character could have more povs and chapters on him like weightage on the story then the main cast aside from the mc , still this novel is one of the good ones that will hook you in so read it 😉, for me it was peak 🛐
this is good if you like a mc who work hard for his power with a good power system you will like this this is a great story give it a chance
My review will be in the comment section, which is what people actually look at for reviews, the rest of this is just for meeting the character requirements
I really don't understand the low rating, it's quite good, I really don't find any flaws that make it unreadable, yes, in advanced chapters you feel that there are many things that don't finish closing or aren't even continued that much, but it seems that in the future the story will continue to develop, in which I see a lot of potential.
As of chapter 75, it's just ok. The character growth and progression are non existent, the story hasn't really advanced at all, and its hard to imagine what's happening because there's so little descriptions of the environment. It is decently fun to read tho, but thats heavily carried by its fast pacing. At this point I've decided to drop it because its becoming more and more obvious that this will just be another edge lord grim dark series where its only redeeming quality is how many different ways the author can find to torture the mc and make them yet another emotionless character.
I give this a 4/10. It's not good, but its not terrible. If you're a fan of seeing characters tortured 24/7 cause you think its cool, you'll probably like this.
A little bit better than your average novel, but that is it. Theres nothing wrong with enjoying it, but it does not stand out in any significant way. The writing itself, while effective in moments, sometimes lacks polish—occasional inconsistencies, rushed transitions sometimes make you question "wtf is going on?" While it is not a Great work - you can give it a try. I appreciate it, to a degree...
