Now on chapter 400.And it's crazy.
1) The author changes the pace of the narrative from arc to arc. For example, he can write in two sentences how the hero raised 5 levels or raised 50 units of undead, and at the same time he can spend an entire chapter describing how the main character went from the waiting room to the arena.
2) The author constantly focuses on the appearance of the hero. Instead of describing him to us once, and then, if it is necessary to describe some reaction of others to him, he periodically describes how the main character "elegantly adjusts his long silky, soot-black hair."
But I will continue reading this...
It's good, towards the beginning of the novel it may feel quite slow but in my opinion this is just the author trying to flesh out the story(although we still don't know much of the world outside his home city), there's also a lot of information during the first few chapters regarding the powers, I like how the book features both cultivators and awakened it's really interesting to see both power systems in the book. The book also showcases how due to the class he receives(necromancer) his personality and his moral bottom-line changes(as of what I've seen up to ch300+).This is one of my first reviews so it may not be that good, the guy below me has prolly got better advice than me but ye; have fun reading it(if you decide to)
It's good but the author takes too much time for world building and it only likes get intresting like after 30 chapter. And the one thing that bothers is that his talent is very op but he uses it very inefficiently but I think that's a part of books charm
Frustrating , too much info atleast if it is necessary to plot could have be good but nah, yapping this and that ..Dumb and idiotic mc , mc living second life still can't be mature enough and smart despite his first life as an orphan basically where you'd experience matters too early for their ages... Can't even uses his own power and cheats properly
