Even If I’m Reborn as a Cute Dragon Girl, I Will Still Make a Harem -
Book 6: Chapter 27: User
“It seems that too much time has passed, and the Great World has forgotten how prosperous the dragons once were, and how vast their territory was,” the Dragon Queen remarked coldly.
It was only then that the Thoughtless Deity Lord remembered that the location they were currently in, including the endless deadlands, had once been part of the dragons’ ancestral land nine million years ago.
That specific planet was now known as the dragons’ ancestral land because it was all that remained of their original territory.
Yet, one could not deny that this was still the dragons’ territory, as the Dragon Queen was still alive!
Thoughtless’ expression stiffened before saying, “For the sake of the Three Thousand Great World, I must stop you!”
“Stop me? I haven’t done anything wrong though,” the Dragon Queen said, her tone tinged with amusement.
“But you-…” The Thoughtless Deity Lord was about to retort but realized that while she had been talking, the Dragon Queen had already finished setting up the array.
Star remains hovered over the deadlands, forming what looked like a net.
The Thoughtless Deity Lord frowned, sensing no immediate danger from the massive array—it didn’t seem to be of an attacking type. It appeared more like it was blocking something.
To block us? No, the gaps between the star remains were too large to do that effectively. The target of this array must be some creature of enormous size.
After thinking for a while without any clear answers, Thoughtless could only directly ask, “What the hell are you trying to do?!”
The Dragon Queen did not look up; she turned around, gathered the remains of a dead star, and transformed it with her hands into a massive throne. She then turned around and sat on it with one hand resting on her cheek.
“Nothing in particular, I’m just waiting for someone,” she replied indifferently.

Deep within Lilith’s consciousness…
Lilith gazed at the Dragon Eater, who was elegantly sipping flavorless tea, and finally broke the silence.
“Thanks for the black flame.”
“Oh my, to think that you’d even thank me.” The Dragon Eater gave her a dramatic response as she pretended to wipe away her tears. “I thought you would cast me aside after using me like before.”
“……”
Had she always been this dramatic?
“I’m not thanking you for lending me your power, but because you did so without playing any other tricks like last time.”
The Dragon Eater scowled. “Like last time? I don’t like hearing that. I gave you a nice daughter last time. Not only did you not thank me, you even judged me. Oooooooooh, I can’t go on living like this.”
Lilith’s cheeks twitched involuntarily. “Enough already. Are you done being annoying?”
“Not yet.”
“……” Lilith fought the urge to pin the Dragon Eater to the ground and punch her lights out. “Why are you acting so strangely today?” she asked curiously.
Dragon Eater feigned ignorance. “Am I? I don’t think so.”
“You never spout this much nonsense.”
“Is this nonsense?”
“Complete nonsense, utterly devoid of substance.”
“You don’t like nonsense?”
“No one does.”
Dragon Eater clicked her tongue in displeasure and said, “Tch, you’re no fun.”
“What does that even have to do with fun?” Lilith gave her an incredulous look before asking again, “What exactly are you planning?”
The Dragon Eater suddenly looked bewildered. “What am I planning? Nothing!”
“Then why are you-…”
“Maybe I just…” She stared off into the distance before continuing, “Maybe I just wanted to talk in this final moment.”
“Final moment? What do you mean?” Lilith sensed something significant.
“It doesn’t mean anything. I just made it up.” The Dragon Eater shifted her gaze to Lilith and laughed mischievously as she said, “Fooled you again, didn’t I? What an idiot you are.”
“……”
Are you asking for a beating?
Then again… Lilith couldn’t help but think that the Dragon Eater wasn’t lying just now.
“Here, I’m returning your black flame.” Lilith remembered the main purpose of her visit and tossed the ominous pitch-black flame back.
Dragon Eater didn’t attempt to catch it.
“Keep it.”
“I don’t want it.”
Who knows what kind of unimaginable side effects can result from using such an odd power?
“I think you’ll need it again very soon,” the Dragon Eater said, dropping each word like a prophecy. “You’ve used the black flame in front of those guys out there. They’ll start pouncing on you like rabid dogs now. You’ll need something to protect yourself.”
Lilith raised an eyebrow. “Are you calling me a weakling?”
The Dragon Eater gave her an amused look, thinking, “That’s all you care about?”
Lilith, feeling like she had scored a point, confidently patted her chest, saying, “Don’t worry, I can defend myself without the black flame.”
“Are you sure?” the Dragon Eater asked disdainfully. “You don’t expect the Great World to be full of weaklings like Three, do you?”
Lilith pouted and retorted, “Well, I still have…”
“Mom?” Dragon Eater completed her sentence and sneered. “Don’t be silly, the Dragon Queen has other important matters to focus on right now. She can’t be bothered with you.”
“Huh? You seem to know what she’s up to.” Lilith’s eyes glinted.
Dragon Eater immediately clammed up and said, “No, I have no idea.”
Lilith’s eyes narrowed slightly as she scrutinized the Dragon Eater’s expression. There was definitely something fishy going on. But there was no way to pry open the Dragon Eater’s mouth if she refused to speak; after all, Lilith didn’t know if she could even hit someone in her spirit state.
“Take back the black flame,” Lilith insisted.
“Hehehe, no.”
“Take it back.”
“No.”
“Take it back.”
“No.”
The two silently stared at each other for a long while before Lilith, feeling somewhat frustrated, growled lowly, “It’s your power.”
“What’s mine is yours. What difference does it make?” Dragon Eater snorted. “And I believe you know by now that you can invoke the black flame without my permission.”
Lilith froze for a moment before asking, “Are you serious?”
The Dragon Eater froze too. “Are you for real?”
“Well, I’ve never tried it!” Lilith declared indignantly.
The Dragon Eater smacked her own forehead. “What a silly child! I can’t believe you haven’t been kidnapped yet.”
Lilith’s face darkened as she held her breath and concentrated. Suddenly, a black flame bloomed from her fingertip, swirling like a dancing black elf. It was identical to the one she had just thrown at the Dragon Eater.
“What’s going on here? What did you do to me?” Lilith demanded coldly.
“Hey, hey, hey, don’t simply accuse someone! I’ve done nothing!” the Dragon Eater protested.
“Then why can I…” Lilith gestured with the black flame in her hand.
“How should I know?” Dragon Eater shrugged. “Maybe the Black Flame liked you better, so it decided to stick around? Like a little kid who sticks around a neighbor’s house because he knows there’s candy?”
“Nonsense,” Lilith spat, gritting her teeth in frustration, yet there was nothing else she could do.
“Alright, alright. Don’t be mad,” the Dragon Eater said as she approached and gently embraced Lilith. “Have you forgotten what I told you before?” she whispered into Lilith’s ear, bringing her face close to hers.
“I am one with you, Lilith. I’m the only one who will never betray you.”
