Even If I’m Reborn as a Cute Dragon Girl, I Will Still Make a Harem
Book 6: Chapter 25: The Tip of the Truth Nine Million Years Ago

Losing the support of her soul, Three’s… no, Myre’s body, fell straight into the lake.

Freed from the shackles of Complete Authority, Ciel began regaining her strength.

“Lilith.” She looked at Lilith standing before her with complicated emotions swirling in her eyes. After hesitating for what felt like an eternity, she finally spoke. “You really shouldn’t have done that. What you did was no different than playing right into the enemy’s hands. I was ready to die; all you needed to do was leave without looking back, and everything would have ended perfectly.”

“Like I said, it’s my choice,” Lilith replied softly.

“But have you considered the consequences?”

“Consequences? I don’t know. We’ll see what happens when the time comes.”

Lilith gazed up at the sky, but even with the power of the Dragon Eater, she couldn’t see through its dome to see the world beyond. Her future, much like the sky above, remained uncertain. Whether fortune or disaster awaited her, that could only be discerned in time.

“Lilith…” Tears welled up in Ciel’s eyes, and she couldn’t contain her emotions any longer as she embraced the petite figure tightly. “As expected… No matter how much time passes… I still don’t know what to do with you.”

Lilith’s eyes shifted back from pitch black to azure blue. She gently hugged Ciel, who trembled in her arms, inhaling the delicate fragrance that emanated from her.

“Tell me everything…” she whispered.

“Mhm.”

Beyond the Dragons’ ancestral land, the old hag in young girl’s appearance—no, the current generation’s Thoughtless Deity Lord—wiped a tear from the corner of her eye before looking up and roaring at the expanse of the Three Thousand Great World.

“All of you saw that… right?!”

Countless gazes, from immeasurable distances, were cast in her direction.

Several powerful thoughts emerged from the depths of the void.

“It’s… really the Dragon Eater?”

“After nine million years, there’s still a survivor?”

“The previous Thoughtless was right…”

“What should we do now? The Dragon Eater is too terrifying. If we act rashly… we may cause a calamity,” one of them said.

“A minor calamity, compared to the annihilation of the Dragon Eater, is insignificant. Besides, she is now outside the Dragons’ ancestral land, and separated from the bustling Great World. This is a golden opportunity to strike.”

“We can’t; the great war nine million years ago nearly decimated the dragons. Acting now, while they are vulnerable, would be disgraceful.”

“But the dragons… they’re hiding the Dragon Eater.”

“……”

“Points taken,” a majestic will said before stating the conclusion. “Deploy forces to the Dragons’ ancestral land, contain the Dragon Eater, and prevent its escape. This mission will be overseen by the Thoughtless Deity Lord. Deceit and opportunism will not be tolerated. Any violators will be subject to execution at the discretion of the Thoughtless Deity Lord.”

The Thoughtless Deity Lord nodded in acknowledgment and agreement.

The other wills responded as affirmatively as possible too.

“Agreed.”

“Good.”

“No objections.”

“The Sky Ruins Deity Lord is the farthest from the Dragons’ ancestral land. Depart at once to ensure that you will arrive as soon as possible.”

“I am already on my way; in no more than three months, I shall arrive.”

“Good.”

The majestic will paused before continuing, “Finally, the Infinite Trials Deity Lord and I shall journey to the Source of Heavenly Fate to retrieve that item.”

“That item?”

“Seriously?”

“Isn’t this too much of an overreaction?”

Several other wills expressed their surprise.

“An overreaction? Do you all not recall the calamity from nine million years ago?” the majestic will replied coldly.

“No, it’s just that that item is our Great World’s last resort. Isn’t it too soon to use it now?” another will countered.

“I support the decision to retrieve it,” the Thoughtless Deity Lord interjected.

“Thoughtless, think carefully; that item is too crucial to be used lightly!”

Thoughtless narrowed her eyes and retorted, “Oh? So you think our current situation now isn’t serious and the Dragon Eater is just a child?” She sneered before continuing, “Old Sky Ruins, do you want me to delay this so that you can face the Dragon Eater in a one-on-one battle first?”

“Hmph.” Sky Ruins snorted coldly and fell silent.

“Coward,” Thoughtless muttered under her breath, then continued, “Besides, I can’t help but suspect there’s a conspiracy at play here. It’s better to be safe than sorry.”

“Conspiracy? You mean…”

“Hmph, I’m talking about the Dragon Eater—I hope you haven’t forgotten how that name came to be. If there were a ranking chart for those who despised Dragon Eaters, the Dragon Queen would be in the top three. Yet, this same queen, who allegedly despises the Dragon Eater, not only tries to hide it but has also placed it within her daughter’s body. There must be a conspiracy behind her bizarre action.”

The majestic will agreed, “Indeed, what Thoughtless has said makes sense. In that case, then I…”

“Wait? Daughter?” Sky Ruins suddenly echoed in surprise, interrupting the majestic will.

“What’s the matter, Old Sky Ruins? Do you have a problem?”

“Whose daughter did you say?”

“The Dragon Queen, duh! Who else could it be? Mine?”

“No way, the Dragon Queen can’t possibly have a daughter!”

Thoughtless laughed exasperatedly.

“What do you mean she can’t? Old Sky Ruins, the whole Great World knows about your old crush on the Dragon Queen, but she has her right to do what she wants. What’s wrong with her having a daughter? You aren’t that petty, are you?”

“It has nothing to do with my feelings for her! But still, it’s impossible for the Dragon Queen to have a daughter!” Sky Ruins roared in frustration.

Hearing how confident Sky Ruins sounded, the other wills began to sense something amiss.

“Elaborate,” the majestic will commanded.

“Hmph.” Sky Ruins paused, then slowly began, “When I received news of the dragons’ attack, I immediately rushed to the scene and saw everything clearly.”

“Which scene?”

Everyone’s patience was running thin at this point.

“When the dragons’ Racial Foundation was shattered by the Dragon Eater!” Sky Ruins’ voice trembled.

“What?”

“The Racial Foundation?”

“Shattered by the Dragon Eater?”

Shocked cries erupted from Thoughtless and several others simultaneously. It was no surprise that they were shocked; the news was simply too shocking to be believable.

As some of the most influential beings in the Great World, they naturally knew exactly what it meant for the foundation of a race to be shattered.

If a race were to be compared to a flourishing tree, then its foundation would be the vital root system, linking the race… and the heavenly order. When a Racial Foundation was destroyed, it signified the race’s severance from the heavenly order, thus preventing it from investing new and pure souls into that race.

In other words, without the Racial Foundation, the race was completely cut off from the heavenly order, and from that moment forward, no new children would ever be born to that race!
