Chapter 71: Preparing for a fight.

P.O.V - Diana.

After managing to convince Dang Woo we began to prepare.

We planned out how we were going to attack the branch.

We made some arrangements with our weapons and poisons.

That was all we did throughout the day.

It felt like preparing for war.

Sharpening of blades, preparation of poison, arrangements of needles, it was truly nostalgic.

By the time the sun had set we were ready.

I was already fully healed.

Dang Shoo couldn’t fight how he usually does but he could support.

We gathered at the ground floor.

Dang Woon and the Dang Shoo were not wearing their normal clothes.

There was no green royal robe.

They only wore body fitted clothes that would make movement easy.

From their clothing I could better see their physiques.

Dang Woon was more muscular than I thought, though not as muscular as Dang Shoo whom I had always seen as a short old man.

He was bulky while Dang Woon had a nice tall muscular physique.

Well they were not the only one wearing such clothes.

Dang Woon gave us similar clothes but our sizes.

On the chest to the left side was a badge of the Dang Clan.

I guess Dang Woon is serious about bringing back the Dang Clan into the light.

After discussing a bit and getting everything ready we were good to go.

We stepped out into the night sky.

This will mark the return of the Tang Clan into the Murim.

Back at the Dang Clan as the sun sets Dang Ki Ran was preparing to close up.

P.O.V - Dang Hyuk.

After cultivating for a while I open my eyes and see the sun had began setting.

I got up, took a shower and went off.

Where was I going?

Well to see Dang Ki Ran.

I’ve been really busy with duties for the past few days I had not been able to see her.

Walking towards her canteen I didn’t realize I was smiling.

I got to the canteen and see it was already closed.

"Ohh? did she close early?" I thought to myself.

Maybe I’ll check her tomorrow morning.

I turn and was about to leave when I look towards another path.

It was the direction Dang Ki Ran moves to go to her house.

"Should I?

But I didn’t inform her beforehand, what if she gets angry at me?" I think to myself.

"I’ll just come back tomorrow morning."

Is what I said but here I am walking to her place.

This is a bad idea.

It’s already dark, I shouldn’t be going there.

I’ll just say hey and turn back.

Yhhhh, that’s what I’ll do.

After walking for a while I could see the quarters where she stayed.

I approach her own place and after taking a deep breath I knock on the door.

No one responds.

I knock again and I hear her voice asking;

"Who is there?"

"Ummm, it’s Dang Hyuk." I reply.

I hear nothing again after I reply.

After a while I here the lock of the door opening.

She opens the door and there stood and angel.

Her dark skin so clear and smooth.

Looking from her neat toes up to her smooth legs and then her thick thighs.

Fuck my heart is gonna explode.

Wearing a short robe tied around her thin waist her curvy figure is revealed.

Looking higher I see her breast bulging out the robe.

Through the robe I could see her nipples.

"Ummm, did you come here to stare at me?" She says snapping back to reality.

"Ohh, ummm... Sorry, I just..." I began to stammer.

She smiles as she moves to the side of the opened door.

"Come in." She says.

I go in slowly with my head down.

She closes the door.

I go take a sit in the living room.

"Have you had dinner yet?" She asks.

"Yes, thank you." I reply.

That was a lie though.

"Thats a lie." She says.

"Huh? how did she know that?" I think to myself.

"I’ll bring you something." She says with a smile.

P.O.V - Dang Ki Ran.

Hmmm, what could I offer him.

I didnt know he was going to come here, especially at this time of the night.

Though, to be honest I was hoping he did.

I heave a sigh.

It’s sad but I’m at that age where I cannot keep decieving myself.

I heave another sigh.

I think I’m in love with this kid.

Ok maybe not in love, maybe crushing? I don’t know.

I have missed his presence for the past few days.

I was really hoping he’d just pop up in front of my door and he did.

And now that he’s here I don’t know what to do.

Maybe I’ll just make that sandwich thing Dang So taught me and maybe we’ll talk for a while.

I heave a long sigh.

"I can’t believe at my age I’m crushing on an 18 year old boy." I say to myself as I began preparing the sandwich.

I haven’t felt this way since...

...Since that bastard nine years ago...

Well, it’s just a crush, it will go eventually, it’s not like anything could happen between us.

I make the sandwich and I go to serve it to him.

"Th...thank you." He says.

He held the sandwich in his hands taking it up to his mouth, about eating it when he suddenly drops it and out of his sleeves he throws a needle which pierces through the door and from behind it we hear a groan.

He rushes over to me.

"Get Rin and protect her." He says.

He seemed so serious and a little anxious.

His mood which was a little smiley right now has completely flipped.

"What is going on?" I wondered to myself.

"Go." He says again.

I rush towards my room where Rin laid and I pick her up and come back outside.

"What is going on Dang Hyuk?" I ask.

His eyes were moving left and right as if scanning the area.

His eyes locks on the door finally as he says;

"I am not sure but, we are under attack right now."
