Chapter 67: Arriving back at the Inn

Inside the inn at the top floor, along the passage way stood The Dang Clan’s Patriarch and The Second Elder along with some guards.

Before them was a man clad in all black spinning a chained Scythe.

"Hmmm, a Martial Master I guess." The Patriarch says.

"Ohh? You really are sharp Patriarch of the Dang Clan." The man in black says with a surprised tone.

"What is the meaning of this?

Is this an intention of the Golden Manor Merchant group First Young Master?" The Patriach asks.

"Hmmmm, what do you think Patriarch of the Dang Clan?" The man in black throws back another question as he launches as The Patriarch with his scythe in one hand.

The Second Elder comes dashing between the man and the Patriach, blocking his attack with his arms.

"That was dumb." The man in black says and the Scythe began piercing through the skin of the Second Elder.

The Second Elder grit his teeth in pain and from behind The Patriarch comes in hitting the man in black with his palm on his abdomen.

This hit throws the man off The Second Elder and slams him into the wall of the inn.

The Patriarch quickly checks on the Second Elder.

As he was helping up the Second Elder up the Scythe of the man in black comes flying towards them.

The Patriarch deflects the Scythe away but gets a little cut.

"That was a nice hit." The man in black says as he begins to walk towards them retracting his scythe.

"I would have really loved to have you all to myself but the Young Master wants the job neatly done with no loose ends Soo..." He says and then he blows a whistle.

After blowing the whistle everywhere becomes silent.

Something was supposed to happen but nothing does.

The man in black looks around confused.

He blows the whistle again this time louder than the last.

But still, nothing happens.

"Where the hell are this little bastards." He yells in annoyance.

A short while later the doors at the ground floor is heard opening and then footsteps are heard gradually climbing up the steps.

After a short while of the people at the top waiting, the owners of the footsteps reach the top floor.

The man in black looks towards the direction of the stairs to see who was coming up.

Looking he saw a young male with a stunning young face and black hair coming up.

He had little stains of blood on his body.

Just a feet coming up behind him was a beautiful young female with pretty white hair.

She also had stains of blood on her clothings.

Coming up the stairs they looked... Stunning together.

"Who are this little children?" The man in black thinks to himself.

"Namgoong Yeong! take Dang So out of here right now! it’s dangerous here!" The Patriarch yells out to the young male, David.

"What is he talking about?" David asks.

"I have no idea." The Young girl now beside him, Diana says.

But how could they say they didn’t understand what The Patriarch meant by the place being dangerous.

Surely they ran over here after sensing the killing intent.

And on their way here they eliminated the assassins which were stationed around the inn.

The two eliminating these assassins was the reason why there was no response after the man in black blew his whistle.

So for sure they must have understood that they were under attack.

But the assassins were too weak for them to see as problem.

Facing off against one previously known as the Legendary Assassin Sangdaejong and one who was personally trained and constantly sparred against this legendary assassin, the assassins were easily wiped out he the two.

"You are good." Diana says complimenting David.

David looks at her with a poker face and turns back to looking forward without saying anything.

"Are you seriously still angry at me?" Diana asks.

Still David says nothing.

In annoyance Diana punches his arm and faces sideways pouting.

David feels this, turns to look at her and unconsciously a smile creeps up his face as he turns back to face this man in black before him.

David was still staring at this man before him when the man suddenly throws a dagger at him.

David catches it just before it hits his fore head.

The dagger cuts him a little between his fingers and he feels a little sting after the cut.

"Ohhh, it was poisoned." David thinks to himself.

He looks at the dagger as if gauging it’s value.

"Hmmm, for a Martial Master such as yourself I felt maybe your weapon would be top notch, I thought of keeping it but... Naaa." David says and he throws the dagger back at the man in black.

The dagger passes right beside the man’s face and flies by the Second Elder sticking into the wall behind all of them.

Everyone is surprised.

As the dagger flies through no one could move.

Everyone froze as they watched it fly through.

At the man’s face, by his side, the dagger had cut his mask and his skin.

Slowly blood drips down his face.

He slowly takes his left hand to touch the cut as he still stood there shocked.

He touches the blood and looks at the blood on his fingers.

"What just happened?

I couldn’t move.

The dagger wasn’t too fast that I couldn’t dodge it.

I literally saw it coming towards me but I, just couldn’t move.

Isn’t that spirit dominance known to be possessed by top knotch genius assassins?

They do it without even knowing they are doing it.

Even I cannot even dare to think of doing that.

Are you telling me this kid is a top assassin? or is he that much of a genius?" The man in black thinks to himself as his hands began to shake.

After a short while he clenches his fist and raises his head.

He pulls out an ointment from his garment and rubs it on the wound.

This ointment greatly slows down the poison spread.

He looks at David and ask a question;

"Who are you?"
