Chapter 64: In The Cave.

P.O.V - David.

I sit in the cave with Dang So in my arms and a fire lit before us.

After taking a look at her condition I had no idea what was going on with her.

All I knew was that her body was reacting to something.

She was ice cold and shivering.

I just thought of keeping her warm.

I lit a fire and then changed her clothes since they were wet but of course I didn’t look.

I definitely did not look!

I took out a robe I had in my storage ring and wore it on her.

And I really did not look!

I made sure not to, though it was quite hard.

I held her in my arms as she continued shivering, maybe the heat from my body could help but she’s freezing me up.

Gradually I also began to shiver.

Over time the cold from her body affects the whole cave and now everywhere is cold.

Even the fire slowly began to die out.

"What the fuck is going on with this little girl?" I think to myself.

Fuck, I might freeze if this continues.

P.O.V - Diana.

I open my eyes and see myself on my throne as the Heavenly Demon Cult leader.

My hair was back to its bright blood red.

"Hmmmm, was I just dreaming?" I thought to myself as I try to sit up.

"Ugghh, this Cult Leader work is quite exhausting." I say as I bend over on my sit.

I was still on my seat when I suddenly hear a voice, a very unique voice, a very prescious voice.

"Oh? you finally awake? Lord of all Demons?" The voice says teasing me.

Immediately I rose my head up so see this person.

My eyes teary I leapt from my seat and dashed towards this person hugging him tightly.

It was David.

"Yooooo, what is wrong with you?" He asks.

"I don’t know." I replied with tears streaming down my eyes.

"Are you good?" He asks as I release him.

"Yes, I don’t know." I reply trying to clean off my tears.

He smiles at me and says;

"You know I love you right?"

I blushed a little.

"Yes, and I love you too" I reply.

He smiles at me and suddenly I feel a sharp pain towards the right side of my abdomen.

I look down and see David’s hand holding a dagger in my abdomen.

"Wha...what are you doing?" I question as I back away and everywhere suddenly goes pitch black.

I could see nothing but David, I couldn’t even see where I was standing.

He was still smiling but then the smile vanished.

"Why did you let me die Diana?" He asks.

"What?" I question.

"You know that the only reason I died that day was because of you.

It was because I couldn’t leave you.

You know that if I wanted to escape by myself I could have." He says.

"Y...yes but..." I tried to say as my voice began to shake.

He starts walking towards me as I bent over to one knee holding my side where I was stabbed.

Slowly he walks towards me as he says;

"And then you get to be reborn but not me?

Whyyy??

You weak thing!!

You’ve always been a burden, a load of baggage always holding me down."

Tears flowed down my eyes as I hear him say these.

It’s something I had always thought to myself.

I couldn’t stop the tears rolling down but I began to smile.

It was painful but those words had woken up.

This is not David.

There is no way David would think such things.

I heave a sigh.

It was nice at least seeing him again.

Seeing him again I realized I had forgotten some details about his look but now, I remember.

I heave another sigh as I gradually got to my feet.

I dashed at him fast trying to grab his neck with my right hand but he catches my hand with his left hand.

He slaps me away with the back of his right hand.

I land on the floor a few distance away and before I could fully get up he was right beside me.

He kicks me hard in my belly as I groan in pain.

He grabs me by the neck and raises me off my feet.

I struggled, trying to get him to let me go but it was all in vain.

P.O.V - David.

It’s been seven hours since I activated the Heavenly Demon Technique and I am gradually getting drained.

Her body was still ice cold when it suddenly started warming up.

Gradually and eventually she stopped shivering and she wasn’t cold again but her body became heated and Ki begins to leak from her body.

I notice the Ki leaking out of her body was poisonous but since I’m immune to poison I wasn’t bothered.

Her body got so hot it faintly began to sting my skin.

Suddenly she began to shiver again but she wasn’t cold.

I have no idea what is going on with this little girl.

"Its hot" She suddenly utters and I see her eyes open a bit.

"Ohh? Is she awake?" I said to myself.

But she wasn’t

From nowhere this young girl suddenly starts drawing nearer to me as her hot palm pulls me closer to her and suddenly, she kisses me.

Her lips were so soft.

It was clear she didn’t know how to kiss but she was so soft and sweet.

She kisses me for a short while and lets me go.

She stares into my eyes for a while as I remained blushing and speechless.

Slowly her eyes shut close and her hand drops from my face.

I didn’t know what to say or do, I just sat there looking at her speechless.
