Chapter 42: Clashing Doka Min

The beast comes dashing at David, about to pounce on him.

"Sit!" David commands the beast with a cool low voice, his killing intent blazing like a wild fire.

The beast immediately comes to a halt, whimpering before him.

His hair gradually turns red from his tips.

The colour now brighter than before.

He heaves a sigh.

"You all attacked me and took innocent children hostage, even if I am greatly injured, none of you shall live past this night..."

Under the beautiful moonlight, his arms spread out and his eyes closed as he says with a low deep voice;

"Heavenly Demon Technique... First Form... Fall of the Thunder God."

Instantly, it began to rain heavy lightning with loud thundering sounds being heard.

The lightning falls heavily striking the ground and trees around him.

It doesn’t meet the children but lands heavily on the Martial Artists in the trees and Doka Min.

It grants instant death as it meets the Martial Artists excluding the Late Peak who barely survives.

Like insects they began dropping to the ground one after another.

The Late Peak drops to the floor but is not dead.

His body twitches and his vital signals became very low.

Doka Min is struck heavily with lightning but using his Ki and his sword he is able to block most of it.

Everywhere quiets down as the thundering sounds ease away.

Ximen Jong who was closer to the children was not affected.

He sat on the ground amazed, for a moment he was so shocked at the what the figure standing before him, David had just done that he forgot he was in serious pain.

The air reeks of sulphur and barbecue.

David breaks a cold sweat.

"Of course it’s still so straining on my body.

Like this I don’t think I’ll be able to use the third form until I enter the Late Peak Realm." He says as he looks as his shaking hands.

He clenches his fist and looks up.

As the cloud of dust clears, disaster is seen everywhere.

There are craters everywhere, trees are split in two, some on fire and roasted Martial Artists lay dead around.

The children looked fearful but at the same time amazed.

"Even the Heavenly Demon Forms? I must find out who you truly are." Doka Min says as he slowly rises to his feet.

The skin on his hands looked burnt and peeled away, but aside from that, he looked alright.

P.O.V - David.

Haahhhh, of course I couldn’t bring him down in one move.

Well now I need no longer be concerned about the Martial Artists who were up in the trees.

Just Doka Min, Ximen Jong and this beast before me.

Should I kill it now?

I’ve never really supported killing beasts so I feel reluctant.

"Arise, go keep that dude there company." I say to the beast pointing at Ximen Jong.

It doesn’t respond and just whimpers before me.

Just then I sense something.

I quickly look up and I see the great sword of Doka Min coming straight for my head.

I quickly dodge it and try to catch it.

I grab it by the handle but the force at which it was moving with was too much it pulled me along with it over the children.

I manage to finally get it to stop as I get my feet back on the ground.

Turning back and using the remaining energy from stoping the sword I swing it, throwing it back at him.

He was already moving towards me so it caught him of guard.

He quickly bends his knees bending his body backwards to dodge it.

He dodges it and as he comes back into his upright position he is greeted by a heavy punch by my right fist.

His head smashes into the ground but I immediately withdraw, why?

Because as I was about to hit him he quickly guarded his face with a little Ki.

Meaning most of the impact from the punch was spread to the surrounding and wasnt focused on him.

So I would just be countered if I went in for a double.

"He’s good." I voice out.

He began to rise to his feet.

"You are good, really good." He says.

He looks at his arm at the point I had stabbed him with the dagger.

The poison seemed to be slowly spreading.

"I don’t have time to play with you, let’s end this." He says as he began slowly walking towards me.

I also don’t have time for this, the Heavenly Demon Technique and the Phantom Techniques are still activated, though I used a Ki boosting pill, my Ki is draining fast.

I began slowly walking towards him too.

We began walking faster and in an instant, we dashed towards each other finding ourself directly in front of the other’s face, both about to land a heavy punch on each other.

We trade blows too fast for the eyes to even think of seeing.

Left hook, right jab, divert, left jab, dock and so on.

It felt like one wrong move could get me killed but I felt so excited.

Forget the fact that I’ve trained my body to the peak of a fifteen year old, one of his serious punches would break any and every bone located in that region.

Thanks to both the Phantom technique and the Heavenly Demon Technique being activated I could match his speed.

Moving at more than eight thousand meters per second, 8000m/s we were wrecking the whole place but I tried to keep it away from the children.

I noticed Ximen Jong was trying to get a hold of one of the children.

I quickly throw a dagger piercing him in the hand.

He screams in pain.

Hwa quickly rushes to him and stamps his broken leg causing him more pain.

He tries to hit Hwa but a boy jumps on him.

More of the children jump on him holding him down.

Trying to protect the children I got distracted for a second.

Doka Min takes his chance and lands a deep hit to my left side sending me crashing into a tree.

This hit breaks my ribs and causes the broken ribs to puncture my lungs.

"Fuck!" I yell out as I look at the blood on my hand from my mouth.

I wanted to get some information from him but if I don’t go for the kill I might get killed instead.

He rushes towards me.

He throws a punch which I barely dodge.

His punch hits the tree behind me and smashes it down.

He throws another.

I divert it and try to counter.

He blocks and throws another

I diveet and kick his leg at his knee.

This brings him down to one knee.

I quickly grab his head with my hands.

"Heavenly Demon Technique...Second Form..."
