Chapter 80: Vampire God and Vampire Queen (2)

"..."

Hearing Lunéa’s words, Vampire God didn’t say anything and a deep silence surrounded the two of them.

The Vampire God knew that his wife’s instincts were good, and they had never betrayed her.

So, he was sure that something bad was coming.

’Just, what?’

He didn’t know and neither did Lunéa.

That was why he didn’t ask any more questions and simply stayed silent.

However, even if he didn’t want to bother her, Lunéa was not in the mood to stay silent.

"Whenever I look in his eyes I always see a crimson-haired girl with tears flowing down her cheeks who just kept repeating a single word, ’Why, why, why?’."

Her husband, who was not in the mood to talk, heard her words and couldn’t help but open his mouth.

"A crying girl? What can she possibly do?"

His words were a bit harsh, and Lunéa lowered her head and looked at the empty table in front of her before continuing.

"It is also not her that is the problem."

"Huh!? What are you going on about? What’s the problem then? Just tell me!"

Vampire God was a bit irritated, and Lunéa closed her eyes, trying to imagine the thing she saw in Nellas’ eyes.

"It is true that she is not the one I am worried about. It is also true that the guy who came to the dungeon isn’t the problem."

She was speaking slowly, and the Vampire God, who was waiting for the answer, was also getting a bit impatient.

"Then, what is the problem? Just tell me already!"

His words were a bit louder, and Lunéa ignored him as her eyes snapped open and her lips parted.

"It is the person. The person whose arm the girl was holding while saying, ’Why, why, why’. He is the problem."

She finished her sentence, and the Vampire God’s gaze instantly fell on her.

"What?!"

A loud shout escaped his mouth and a smile formed on Lunéa’s face as she stood up and continued.

"He is the problem. I don’t know his identity but his eyes...."

The Vampire God was a bit confused, and Lunéa’s gaze moved to look at her husband before she added.

"His eyes sent a shiver down my spine. They were cold, dark, and evil. And, they were looking directly at the girl, as if, they wanted to do something to her. I don’t know why but just a single glance at those eyes and I felt as if a thousand swords were stabbing me."

"..."

The Vampire God’s eyes widened, and a shocked expression appeared on his face as he looked up at his wife.

"You, are you saying that the problem is the person whom the girl was holding onto?"

He asked and Lunéa nodded her head, "Yes, but it can be just my imagination. Or maybe I am overthinking."

She added, and the Vampire God didn’t reply and began to ponder.

He was trying to figure out what could it be that was troubling his wife.

Lunéa was always right about the problems, and her instincts had never failed her before.

That’s why, he had no doubt in his mind that her gut was right, and a huge problem was coming.

So, he should prepare for the worst.

’Well, that comes later. For now...’

Thinking that Vampire God got up from his seat and wrapped his hands around his wife’s shoulders.

"Hasn’t it been too long since we have," He didn’t complete his sentence and only raised his right eyebrow for some time.

His words were clear and his meaning was also clear.

Which was, he was not in the mood for a serious conversation.

Instead, he wanted to do something else which his wife undoubtedly understood.

Lunéa was a bit shocked but the small smile on her face and the red blush on her cheeks gave away the happiness she was feeling.

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean she was up for it.

"Hmph!"

Lunéa’s eyebrows twitched and she pushed the Vampire God away before turning around and walking away.

’If I let him, then he will notice the difference and would surely make a fuss about it. I don’t want that.’

That was her current dilemma, and she walked forward, leaving the Vampire God, who was a bit disappointed, alone.

’It is already been 100 years and she still doesn’t want to. Doesn’t her heart beg her for some love?!’

The Vampire God sighed and began to walk after his wife.

Yes, 100 years.

After 100 years, even if you have the greatest of the wives, you would begin to get annoyed.

But, the Vampire God didn’t do that.

He didn’t even try to find some other woman to fulfill his needs.

And, that was because of two reasons.

First, he loved his wife, and he would never betray her.

Second, his wife would definitely kill him and eliminate the whole family of the other woman if he even tried to do such a thing.

’She looks like a witch when she gets angry.’

His face was pale and his lips were pressed together.

Because the memories of the last time he did something that displeased her were still fresh.

They were still stuck in his mind.

"Ahem, okay. Let’s not think about that."

Shaking his head, he raised his hand and a glass of water appeared in his palm.

"Haaah~"

Then, he sighed and began to drink.

As he was gulping down the water, a sudden thought hit him and the water in his mouth was spat out.

"Wait, don’t tell me. She is the one who is actually not interested in me and wants someone else!"

His eyes were wide and a look of horror was visible on his face.

Because, in the 100 years, his wife never showed him any desire or lust.

He was always the one to ask her, and if she didn’t agree then he would leave her alone.

"No, no, no, no, no, no. I am just overthinking. Hahaha, that’s impossible."

A burst of nervous laughter escaped his mouth, and the glass of water vanished into thin air.

’There is no way, right?’

That question was stuck in his head, and his gaze moved toward the direction his wife was walking toward.

’Right?’
