’Monster Nature, huh? I wonder what she was thinking about which triggered her monster nature.’

Nell’s mind was trying to figure out what had happened to his wife, but he wasn’t able to figure out the reason behind her change, and there were no hints, either.

It was for just a moment, however, it was clear that his wife was in danger of losing her humanity.

So, Nell had to intervene and stop her from thinking about whatever was triggering her monster nature.

’I know that she has a monster bloodline but I didn’t think that it would have something like this. The system is calling it monster nature. Huh? Interesting.’

Thinking that, his lips curved into a smirk and he moved closer to his wife, before sitting next to her and placing his hand over hers.

"Em," He called her and his thumb began to rub the back of her palm.

"Hm?" Ember moved her head, and her lips left the edge of the glass, "Yes?"

Upon her response, the man moved even closer and his face was now in front of hers.

"You want to become a hero, right?"

A nod was the reply he received from his wife, and the corners of his lips rose a bit before his gaze landed on her eyes.

"Then, I will train you," He paused and his other hand moved toward her face before his fingers gently caressed her cheek, "But, before that, you need to learn about the things related to the dungeons."

"T-Things related to the dungeons?"

His words surprised the girl a bit, and her lips parted slightly, as she didn’t understand why he was telling her that she needed to learn about the dungeons.

Since she wasn’t going there right now, because she wasn’t registered as a Hero yet, so there was no need to learn about them.

"Yes, you need to learn about the dungeons,"

However, her husband’s voice entered her ears, and the girl was forced to nod, before a low voice left her mouth, "O-okay."

"Good," A smile appeared on Nell’s face, and his hands removed the glass from her hand, before placing it on the table in front of him.

After that, he stood up and pulled his wife with him, "Then, let’s begin. Shall we?"

"Begin? What do you mean?" Ember asked and tried to understand what her husband was trying to say.

"To learn about the dungeons, you need to get inside one of them, so that you can gain some knowledge,"

His words were something that she didn’t expect and a strange feeling surged in her chest, making her heartbeat increase.

"W-w-wait. Me, get inside a dungeon? But, I am not a Hero yet," She spoke and tried to resist, but her husband’s grip on her hand was firm, and he wasn’t allowing her to move.

"Don’t worry, we aren’t actually going inside a real dungeon."

Nellas cleared, and without waiting for her to respond, he began to move toward the door, while his hand was holding hers tightly, and the girl had no choice but to follow him.

’We aren’t going in a dungeon and yet we are going in one. It doesn’t make any sense.’

The girl thought, and the strange feeling in her chest increased, as she felt something bad was about to happen.

’Why is he doing this?’

She couldn’t understand the reason behind his actions and didn’t know what he was planning, but her heart told her that the situation was dangerous, and she shouldn’t go.

However, her feet were already moving, and she couldn’t stop, no matter how hard she tried.

’Is this how a Hero feels when they enter a dungeon?’

She was feeling her heart pounding loudly in her chest and the air around her was getting colder, as her mind began to play tricks on her, making her feel like a dungeon monster was behind her, and was ready to devour her.

’C-calm down. He said we aren’t going in a dungeon,’

Trying to calm herself, Ember’s grip on her husband’s hand tightened, and her body got closer to him, as the girl was trying to reassure herself that she was safe, and nothing would happen to her.

’Everything is fine, everything is fine,’

She chanted the same words in her mind and closed her eyes for a moment.

However, the feeling didn’t subside, and the fear in her heart was getting stronger and stronger, making her shake a bit.

"I-it’s scary."

These subconscious words that left her mouth were really low, and she wasn’t aware that her husband had heard her, and he had stopped walking, before turning around to look at her.

"Don’t be scared, I am here with you. So, nothing will happen."

The man smiled and pulled her in his arms, and hugged her tightly, before kissing her forehead, which made the girl’s cheeks turn red.

"Y-you.." She wanted to say something but stopped herself, and just stayed in her husband’s embrace.

"Let’s go," After few seconds Nellas broke the hug, and his hands grabbed her hand again before he raised his other hand to open the door.

However, once the door was open, a familiar scent reached his nose, and the man’s expression changed slightly before he looked down.

"It’s smells good."

The words escaped his lips and his eyes looked at the food that was on the floor, which had the words ’Enjoy the meal’ written on the lid.

’What is this? Did someone send me a gift?’

The food had no name, and there was no note, either. So, Nellas didn’t know who sent it, and why did they send it to him.

However, he didn’t have time to think about it and decided to deal with it later. So, he bent down and grabbed the box and placed it on the table, before returning his attention to his wife.

"Now, let’s go."

Saying that he led his wife out of the building.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the wall, behind the door...

Marine was standing there with her head resting against the door. Her heart was pounding loudly in her chest as she felt a sense of accomplishment.

’This is the first step, the first step in making Nell mine.’

A smile appeared on her face and the young woman clenched her fist before walking toward her kitchen.

’Now, let’s prepare another gift for my love.’
