After a few minutes of walking, the couple arrived back at their home.

There, standing in front of the door to their apartment, was their neighbor, Marine.

"Marine?" Nellas spoke and the young woman looked up.

"Oh, Nell, you are back. And..."

Her words trailed off as her gaze landed on the person who was standing next to her neighbor, and her face turned a bit darker.

"Hello Ember," Marine called the girl, but Ember didn’t even raise her head and just nodded slightly, not wanting to interact with her.

’This girl... Is she really?!’

Marine self-talked in her mind and her gaze stayed on the girl before Nellas noticed the tension between them and spoke.

"So Marine, what brings you here?" He asked and tried to remove the weird atmosphere, "Did something happen?"

Upon hearing him, Marine snapped out of her thoughts, and she looked back at her neighbor.

"I-It is nothing. I just wanted to inform you that the money for the dungeon you have cleared has been sent to your account. That’s all."

After finishing, the woman glanced at Ember for a moment and smiled, "Well, then. See you later."

With that, she turned around and began to walk toward her house.

Nellas kept staring at her until she got in her apartment, and when Marine was gone, he took out the key to his apartment, before inserting it in the lock and opening the door.

"Let’s go in, Em."

He called the girl, and Ember moved forward as her hand subconsciously grabbed her husband’s arm, before the couple walked inside their apartment.

Once inside, Nellas closed the door and led his wife toward the sofa.

"Sit, Em. I will bring you some water."

Ember nodded, and the man left her alone, and walked into the kitchen, while the girl sat on the sofa and waited.

Meanwhile, in their neighbor’s apartment...

Marine was leaning against the door with her eyes closed and her brows furrowed.

She had a lot on her mind and the reason for it was Nellas’ wife.

’Why does Nell have to choose such a girl as his wife?’

She didn’t know what was so good about Ember, and she couldn’t help but think about why her neighbor had married her.

’After meeting her today, I have became sure that she is blind.’

She closed her eyes and tried to imagine her future with Nellas.

She began to bend her knees making her body slide down the door.

"Haha," A weak chuckle left her lips, and she shook her head, before looking toward the wall, which on the other side was her neighbor’s apartment.

’Maybe...’

A thought suddenly crossed her mind and a strange glint appeared in her eyes before she pushed herself up.

’...It’s not too late.’

This thought crossed her mind because knowing Nell, he still mustn’t have done anything with his wife.

’He must be still a pure soul.’

And, Marine believed that she had a chance to be with Nellas.

"He will be mine."

The glint in her eyes became brighter, and her body began to shake slightly, as a smile bloomed on her face.

"Let’s start with cooking something for him."

Saying that the woman walked away from the door and entered the kitchen.

Inside Nellas’ apartment...

Ember was sitting on the sofa and was waiting for her husband.

A strange feeling was coursing through her veins and her heart was aching slightly.

Ember was thinking of even killing the woman because the thought of the woman being close to her husband was making her crazy.

However, her thoughts were cut short as a voice entered her ears, "Here is your water, Em."

Ember’s head turned a bit, and her hand reached toward the sound, which was coming from her left.

"Th-thank you."

A soft voice left her mouth, and her fingers touched the glass that was placed in her hand.

After grabbing it, she brought the glass near her lips which parted slightly before she took a sip of the water.

And while she was drinking the water Nellas kept staring at her with a serious expression on his face.

A moment ago, when he was pouring the water, he suddenly sensed a dark and dangerous aura coming from his wife, and her whole demeanor had changed.
