Chapter 69: SEALED

Opening my eyes, the light in the room blinded me and my arm automatically went to my eyes. I groaned and heard Zeeb’s voice "Good morning Love"

My body automatically froze, and my wolf reacted. I jumped out of bed and rushed to attack him, only to stop the shot, as he was only wearing pants. Zeeb’s upper torso was a work of art. My mind remained frozen as my wolf whined in need and I raised my hand to the wolf tattoo on his chest.

"I was born with it. It is the mark of an Elijah wolf," Zeeb explained.

My black mind rubbed the tattoo as Zeeb moved closer and I felt his hot breath hit my nose. He smelled of coffee and cinnamon.

"You bit me," I complained.

"I marked you" He asserted.

I raised my head, and our eyes clashed. Zeeb had beautiful gray eyes that drew me in. Was this the mating pull? I wanted to climb on him and fuck him without restraint. My ego got the better of me and I lowered my hand.

"Why the fuck were you jealous?" I demanded.

A small smile played on his lips and he whispered, "I will always be jealous"

Snickering, I turned around and came face to face with the mirror. I never noticed since I got out of bed in a hurry. I was wearing one of his large t-shirts that reached my knee length. He had undressed me and changed my clothes. A blush rose on my cheeks and I closed my eyes in embarrassment.

I felt his hands snake around my waist and he pulled me close. His cock pressed on my behind and my body shuddered. I felt the urge to rub myself on his and spoke up hurriedly," I- I need to get used to this"

"Oh, Anisha, why are you still running away from me?" Zeeb’s voice was laced with anger.

"You misunderstand me, Zeeb," I whispered as our eyes met through the mirror.

"Explain yourself so that I can understand" He dropped his arm from around my waist and took a step back.

The action made me feel cold and unwanted. My insecurities rose, and I blinked. Swallowing hard, I stated, "I am not a virgin"

"I am a victim of rape," I dropped the bombshell.

His hands folded into a fist at his sides, and he only nodded in response.

"Chairman Freki saved me. He found me dumped in the city and took me in. They left me for dead. I did not want to live, but that old man was stubborn as a mule. He made me into what I am today. Though everyone kept suspecting I was his lover, the only person who never judged me was Lucian. He knew how much his parents loved each other. " The tears that threatened to spill finally fell on my cheeks.

"Go on" Zeeb walked to the bedroom window, where a table and chair had been set, and sat down.

Staring at him, I expected him to be disgusted, but all I saw was anger. "When Chairman Freki saved me, he gave me his blood"

Zeeb remained calm and the next words he uttered shocked me. " That is why your wolf is different. I could tell every time you got near. The power of your wolf is close to a Freki. When I bit you, I felt it, Anisha. You are no ordinary wolf. You are magnificent"

His words made me rush over to him, climb on his lap as his hands went around me and I buried my head in his neck as the sobs racked my body. I cried for so long that I finally realized that my tears covered his neck and chest.

"Sorry," I whispered. "I am making a mess"

"You are my mate, Anisha. I must protect you and take care of you," Zeeb responded affectionately as he rubbed my back.

"Zeeb, you do know I am too much and hot-headed. "I sniffed, taking the t-shirt sleeves, and I attempted to wipe off the tears.

Zeeb laughed and whispered, "Why would I be bothered by your tears, Anisha?" His voice sounded deep and husky, making my body react to him.

"You are a strange one," I chuckled, and it came out mixed with a sob.

"A patient man is not strange Anisha "He pointed out.

I nodded and attempted to get out of his lap. He held on to my body, stood up as if I weighed nothing, and walked into an enormous bathroom that had a tub filled with water. By the way, the water was simmering hot, I suspected that it was not an ordinary tub.

"How?" I whispered as he set me down.

"I had it rebuilt specifically to keep the water hot. The tub has a heater below that you can switch on and off. " He walked to the door and pressed a button. " Here!! Now enjoy the bath, pick any clothes you want from the closet and come eat breakfast once done" With that he was gone from the bathroom, closing the door behind him and I was left alone with my thoughts.

Undressing, I entered the tub, and my body welcomed the hot water. The minute the water touched my bite mark, I winced in pain and laughed. Being marked by Zeeb made me giddy and happy. I was fully marked by my mate and it made me miss Chairman Freki. I remember the conversation we heard one time about mating.

"One day you will find a mate. When that time comes, don’t push him away. Embracing him and loving him. Your mate will protect you and make you forget the past pain. "Chairman Freki stated while we were having dinner.

"I am not interested in a mate. I want to work hard and make something for myself. " I had insisted.

"Promise me" He had dropped his fork on the plate and banged the table.

Pouting, I responded, " I promise"

And that had been the end of the conversation that night. "Damn old man," I muttered. I hurriedly scrubbed my body, rinsed myself, and got out of the tub. Grabbing the towel Zeeb had placed on the counter, I wrapped myself in it ,brushed my teeth with his toothbrush, and walked into the bedroom, straight to the closet. Zeeb was a clean freak, by the way his clothes and shoes were placed. After shuffling his clothes, I settled for a long shirt and tracksuit shorts.

I walked out of the bedroom, and the smell of bacon and eggs hit my nose. The fucking man could cook? I slowly approached the kitchen and found him seated at a small dining table. He had already put on a shirt and he smiled warmly. " Sit down and eat. You need to nourish your body for what is about to come"
