LUCIAN’S POV

"Are you sure?" Conri’s eyes changed from the norm to the golden orbs, a sign that Dolf Rose to the surface.

"Dolf agrees, right? "I pulled his head down and our noses brushed against each other.

"Yes," Conri’s voice croaked

"I will be your wolf to call. You will be my Alpha Conri, "I asserted. The only response that came out of Conri’s mouth was a loud growl.

"I will take that as a yes," I laughed and rubbed my body on him.

"You are always driving me crazy Lil pup" He licked my neck.

"I need to have some clarity on the Freki agreement with the KODA council. If we are mated, what are the implications? I want to do this without having any obstacles in our way, "I informed him.

"Take your time Lil pup. I am not going anywhere" I rubbed his neck and Conri’s rumble rose from his chest to his mouth.

"The truth was that I was so scared. I took off from Due Corporation and there was traffic on the way. As soon as I reached Freki land, I called Zeeb, left the car plus the security team, shifted, and ran. Th,e thought of Alpha Lobo taking you away made me scared and angry"

I pressed my lips to Conri, and all the worry in my body disappeared. He pulled me close, and we stood basking in each other’s warmth while offering each other comfort.

Everest snickered and stated, "She is the worst kind. She meets men, lures them, and then makes them submit to Alpha Lobo. I am not sure what magic she used, but everyone who has fallen into her claws ends up at the mercy of Alpha Lobo. "

"Shit" Zeeb cursed while my jaw dropped.

"Close your mouth Lil pup," Conri chuckled.

"Why do you ask? "Everest pressed on

"Rex was last seen with Duciana Due, "Zeeb repeated the statement.

"What? Fuck. So that is how they lured him. I am sure they will attempt to dump his body on the construction site tonight" Everest shook his head.

"The security team should have arrived by now. I came with your bodyguards too, Lucian," Zeeb stated.

"Is there a way to find Rex’s body before they dump it here? What about the moles we planted at Alpha Lobo’s office?" I asked Zeeb.

"We can get our men to search for it silently. "Everest reported.

"How many of your men do you have? "I asked in shock.

"They are Conri Dolf men. Let’s say about eight hundred wolves, " Everest stated.

I turned to look at Conri while Zeeb whistled.

"I only learned of this today. Godmother has been busy" He blushed and rubbed his neck.

"Yes. Elder Zaya has been preparing and recruiting loyal wolves who will be under Conri Dolf. You know that his wolf is Alpha. Plus, Adora Crystal recognized him when he walked into the room hidden in the KODA council, "Everest boasted.

Zeeb’s speechless and comical face made all of us laugh.

"Yes. My husband’s wolf is strong and no one in the Golden pack can be a match. Bless Godmother for paving the way. I love that she has the same train of thought as me. Conri has a kind and protective heart. That is the true heart of any Alpha of a pack," I laughed.

Zeeb took a step back as he spoke with realization, "Is this the reason why Alpha Lobo pushed you into exile? He wanted to become an Alpha at all costs. "

Everest nodded. "You are right. He did this for his selfish reasons. The pack has been suffering for too long. We need to have the right alpha to lead."

There was a knock at the office door and then one of the workers announced, " Sir, the security guards have arrived. "
