Chapter 214: Chapter 78: Making a Big Fuss_2

How thick is a python that is over a meter in diameter? Well, if a person stood next to it while it was lying down, its body would easily reach over their waistline. Such a size could not be embraced even by two people. You wouldn’t need to have good vision to see it; as long as there’s some light you could easily spot it.

When the python slithered towards the factory area where the lights were, rain dropped onto its dark scales, reflecting off into a myriad of light specks. Coupled with its colossal size, anyone who saw it would certainly have their knees buckle in fear.

Nobody noticed that the python was as sluggish as a worm, with a body so huge it moved slower than a snail — but who could pay attention to that when they were frozen in fear by its size?

At first, only one or two people saw it, and their screams of terror immediately echoed in the air. Some tried maintaining their cool, attempting to quietly slip away. However, their legs had turned to jelly, keeping them from moving.

Luckily, the python moved slowly, just leisurely slithering along the factory wall. Gradually, those who had spotted it were able to start moving again.

Once they started running, all hell broke loose.

These terrified people rushed back into the factory, then turned around and started running like crazy towards the other end of the factory exit, shouting as they ran: "Run! Run! The monster is here, there’s a huge snake ..."

If it was only one person shouting, others might think that person crazy. However, when several people were yelling, everyone immediately dropped what they were doing.

A few brave workers sneaked to the door and peeped outside. The sight that met their eyes instantly drained their faces of color. Two of them even let out a frightened shriek and sat down on the floor.

This incident certainly showed who was braver. Those who dared to sneak out and check what was happening were the bravest, followed by those who dared to come out after hearing the shouts.

Then in a flurry of panic, they began to run in the direction the earlier few fled.

Most of these familiar faces were not selfish, the majority shouted to their fellow workers, familiar or not, "Hurry, run. There really is a huge python!"

Everyone immediately dropped what they were doing and ran. A few responsibility-driven individuals tried to switch the machines off, but before they could react, a low howling sound started resonating in their ears.

Normally, they would have ignored this sound, but under their current nerves, who wouldn’t hear it?

Without giving it another look, they threw everything and ran — no machine is worth more than their lives!

In an instant, the factory was completely empty. Those who couldn’t run fast were hurled aside by their friends or family.

Yan Fei, controlling his massive body, slowly entered the factory. Looking at the still humming machines, he swung his head with a sense of pride and delight.

The entire factory area was in chaos, with frenzied scenes of people falling over each other - an incredulous sight to behold.

Rain was still drizzling from the sky, the ground was muddy, and occasionally groups of people tripped and fell. They didn’t care about the mud and rainwater, all of them were panicking and running towards the outside of the factory.

Some of the boss’s direct subordinates, who hadn’t seen the python, were shouting to organize a team to kill the python.

Under the promise of a hefty reward, they managed to gather a group of brave young men. Armed with a variety of weapons, they slowly began moving towards the entrance of the factory where Yan Fei was.

Under the pressure from the crowd behind them, this group gradually approached the door. When they saw the python inside through the door, they were so stunned they even dropped their weapons, their jaws agape.

Then with a loud scream, they turned and ran.

Some people tried to stop them from behind, but they were knocked down into the muddy water.

Those who hadn’t seen it started to run as well, others couldn’t resist taking a look, and the moment they turned their heads to flee, they ran even faster than the first group, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

By the time Yan Fei leisurely slithered out of the factory, not a single soul could be seen in the whole factory area. Occasionally, a silhouette would dash from a corner, frantically fleeing the premises and disappearing into the night dark.

The machines in the factory continued to hum. However, after a while, strange noises began to emerge. Machines that weren’t designed for empty rotation started to fail.

The python continued to roam around the empty factory area. At this point, there was hardly anyone left. Whether there were any unlucky souls who couldn’t escape in time, there was no way to tell.

Regardless, Yan Fei didn’t care about this.

After roaming around for a while, and feeling that the whole factory was completely deserted, Yan Fei, with the dimmed humming of the machines in the background, slowly moved back towards the workshop.

Then, using his less skilled techniques, he wrapped his tail around some small machines and smashed them directly into the larger ones. The main goal was destruction. He intended to destroy the factory to the point that it could no longer function.

After a few rounds of destruction, the power in the factory went out completely. The pitch black surroundings made it even easier for him to wreak havoc.

For the machines that were too heavy and tough to damage, Yan Fei simply transformed into a humanoid, picked up the iron bar that was prepared for forging large knives, and began smashing it around.

This iron bar was like a huge hammer. With a weight of around three to four hundred catty (1 catty = 0.5kg), combined with the inhuman strength of its master, this level of destruction was absolutely thorough.
