Chapter 1633: Chapter 777 Everyone Wants to Curse_2

Boss White smiled as he adjusted his seatbelt and said, "It’s fine, we’re so far from the Provincial City already, there’s no big deal. Damn, Seven Jin really did a crap job fixing this car. He didn’t even bother replacing the seatbelt buckle..."

Looking at the clearly twisted buckle, he didn’t pay it any mind and casually tossed the seatbelt aside. "Forget it, let’s just go without it!"

Old Lang chuckled as well, flicking on his lighter. As the little flame sparked to life and he brought it to his cigarette, two beams of light suddenly shot out from up ahead.

Before you could blink, Old Lang’s expression shifted dramatically. He yanked the steering wheel hard. Boss White hadn’t even reacted before he felt the car jolting violently, followed by a loud "bang!" His entire body slammed headfirst into the windshield...

Although they’d just reduced speed moments ago, the mini-van was still going at eighty or ninety kilometers per hour. With someone flying out like that, the windshield shattered immediately, as expected. Luckily, he didn’t get hurled outside, because the car started flipping sideways...

Boss White’s final thought was: Goddamn Seven Jin. If I make it back alive, no way I’m letting you off for neglecting that damn seatbelt.

His consciousness gradually blurred, and then—nothing at all!

On the other side, Old Lang didn’t fare much better. Though he had his seatbelt on, the moment the accident struck—right when it should have saved him—it snapped with a loud "twang!"...

These days, even in the Provincial City, driving without a seatbelt is pretty normal. Seven Jin had put a lot of effort into his beloved GEELY, fixing everything except the seatbelt, which he’d completely overlooked. To him, as long as the driver could buckle up during a random inspection, all was good. Anything beyond that? Forget about it. And as for the broken buckles on the passenger side? Well, who actually uses the passenger seatbelt anyway?

At this moment, Old Lang wanted to curse too, but with his whole body smashed against the steering wheel, all he could do was instinctively grab whatever he could reach. Swearing would have to wait.

Not just Boss White and Old Lang—Yan Fei wanted to curse out loud as well!

This was ridiculous. He’d finally found a stretch of road with fewer cars and was just about to make his move. Right before acting, he’d risen higher to scout the area, checking how far away the nearest vehicles were.

But as soon as he lifted off, two headlights suddenly flared to life at a side road just ahead.

The side road was a dirt path through farmland, lower than the Provincial road, so at its intersection, there was a slope leading up. The car emerging from the path was a black sedan. Apparently, it had been driving in the dark with no headlights on, creeping stealthily along the farmland lane.

Apparently, speeding up to ascend the slope, the sedan’s driver saw the mini-van barreling toward it at high speed. Deciding not to slow or stop halfway up, they switched on their headlights at the last moment.

Yan Fei’s focus had been entirely on the mini-van. He’d been listening carefully, hoping to catch some intel about who had ordered Boss White to come after him. But he hadn’t overheard any useful clues, nor had he noticed the covertly arriving sedan.

If Old Lang hadn’t been lighting his cigarette, perhaps he’d have reacted just in time to veer the steering wheel and avoid collision. But that one-second delay meant the mini-van slammed into the sedan’s front bumper head-on.

It wasn’t a major crash, but that didn’t mean it was good either—who could say whether the outcome would turn better or worse? After all, with the van flipping like crazy, thanks to Seven Jin’s negligence with the seatbelt, the two inside would’ve definitely been flying like human cannonballs.

As for the sedan, it wasn’t spared either. The sudden impact sent it spinning sideways, rolling right back down the slope into the farmland.

Yan Fei didn’t give the mini-van duo another glance. Instead, he hovered over the sedan to check it out. Surprisingly, the car wasn’t in too bad of a state. Aside from the shattered left headlight and a dented corner, it seemed fine and hadn’t even stalled.

Inside the sedan, voices grew tense. "Quick, get the car moving. Hurry up and leave! A wreck here will attract attention soon..."

Another voice replied, "I’m trying. As long as the car can move, we’re good to go." The car began reversing through the farmland, evidently aiming to make a quick escape.

"Waaah waaah..." At that moment, two children’s crying echoed from within the sedan.

A harsh voice snapped, "Shut up, you little brats. Stop crying, or I’ll smack you!"

"Mommy, mommy, I want my mommy..." A second child’s sobs followed.

The harsh voice grumbled again. "Neither of you better cry. Both of you keep bawling and I’ll toss you out for the wolves to eat! Move it, don’t wait around for anyone to show up. Today’s been a pain—snatching these two kids is nothing but bad luck..."

Shit, were they human traffickers?

Yan Fei felt his chest tighten, his blood boiling in anger.

Of all crimes, nothing was more heinous than child trafficking. For their selfish agendas, traffickers shattered families, condemning them to lives of torment. With so many families today reliant on a single child, losing that child meant their homes became nothing more than empty shells. Living became worse than death...

As the sedan shifted gears and started heading back toward the road, Yan Fei prepared to intervene. But before he acted, another pair of lights appeared in the distance.

Another vehicle was approaching.

With two children inside the sedan, Yan Fei hesitated for a split second. If he transported the whole car directly into Dinosaur World now, he hadn’t checked the children’s ages carefully yet—what if something went wrong...?

That brief hesitation was enough for the distant vehicle to close in.

At this point, the sedan had already returned to the asphalt and sped off at full throttle.

Fine then, Yan Fei decided. He’d just follow the sedan instead!

The battered sedan, now down to one headlight, raced forward. Yan Fei no longer cared about mulling over the children’s safety. He transported the car straight into Dinosaur World.

There was no other option—if he let the sedan keep driving recklessly, who knew what might happen? Even if the car didn’t crash, with the drivers anxious and jittery, any mishap could claim their lives. And what about the two kids inside?

Once transported into Dinosaur World, the sedan appeared on the soft, barren plains.

The once-speeding car instantly slowed down amid the uneven terrain, its occupants visibly panicking. One of them shouted, "Laoer, where the hell have you driven us?!"

"How the hell should I know? We were clearly on the road..." The driver couldn’t help but curse.

Before he could finish his sentence, there was a loud "bam!" as one of the car doors flew off into oblivion. The driver barely had time to process what had happened before he was flung out as well.

The guy in the passenger seat stared in disbelief as a figure suddenly appeared in the driver’s spot—a naked man, with only a towel wrapped around his mouth and nose. This stranger nonchalantly began steering the car expertly, slowing it to a halt...

"Who the hell are you? Are you human or a ghost?" It was hard to blame the passenger for freaking out. Anyone would lose their mind if the car they were riding suddenly left the Provincial road for a desolate plain with endless yellow soil, sparse shrubs, and no sign of actual roads, let alone a series of inexplicable events like flying doors.

As the car stopped completely, the figure on the driver’s seat vanished.

Before the passenger could process what was happening, the man reappeared. This time, he was dressed head-to-toe, though the towel over his face remained unchanged.

He opened the back door, gently lifting the two quietly sobbing children out of the car.

Luck was on his side—the kids were young, likely no older than four or five.

Young was good. Even if they talked about what they saw, no one would believe them.

A moment later, Yan Fei holding the two kids disappeared, reappearing in a room prepared for him at Dahe Base. He placed the frightened children on the bed and kept the lights off, gently patting them. "Don’t be scared. I’ll take you to find your mom soon!"

After saying this, he vanished again.

The two kids sat bewildered. One continued crying softly for their mom, while the other stared wide-eyed, trying to make sense of their surroundings. Before they could cry for too long, Yan Fei reappeared, now holding both children, this time materializing in the center of a village.

Setting the kids down, he covered his mouth with the towel again and shouted loudly, "Whose kids are missing?!"

Even muffled through the towel, his voice carried like rolling thunder, shaking the entire village awake. In an instant, cries, shouts, clucking chickens, barking dogs, and the racket of startled livestock filled the air in a chaotic uproar...
