One moment, Elijah Smith seemed calm and emotionless; the next, he splashed the wine from his glass all over the man’s face.

"What the hell, Elijah Smith?" The man, seemingly unprepared for Elijah’s sudden outburst, immediately stood up, wiping the wine from his face and yelling angrily.

All eyes in the private booth were drawn to the scene.

The man continued to shout at Elijah, "You’re acting so high and mighty, I came over to talk to you as a favor. Are you crazy, throwing wine on me like that..."

"Smash--" Before he could finish cursing, Elijah Smith smashed the wine glass against the man’s head.

Though the crystal cup itself was quite sturdy and did not shatter, it fell to the ground with a crisp sound and cracked in half.

"What’s going on? Why did he suddenly start attacking him?"

"We see each other once in a century, why make things so awkward?"

"Calm down, sit down...sit down..."

Ignoring his classmates’ words, Elijah Smith stared at the man across from him with bloodshot eyes, seething with loathing. He raised his hand, undid his tie, and pounced upon the man like a razor-sharp leopard. He then grabbed the man’s hair, focusing his strikes on vulnerable spots.

His strikes were ruthless, and after a few punches, thick fresh blood stuck to his fist.

The man being beaten clenched his teeth in pain and cursed underneath Elijah Smith.

The classmates, seeing this unfold, rushed forward and tried to pull Elijah off of the man.

Though six or seven people surrounded him, Elijah seemed to have lost his mind, displaying an incredible strength that seemed impossible to restrain.

"Stop it, Elijah! If you keep going, someone’s going to die!"

Christopher Bell grabbed Elijah Smith’s wrist and tried his hardest to pull him back. As someone else hugged Elijah around his waist, they finally managed to drag him off the man. Unrelenting, Elijah kicked at the man while cursing, finally landing a merciless blow to the man’s groin.

With a scream of agony, the man clutched his crotch and rolled on the ground. With bloodshot eyes and his battered face, he found support on the others around him and stood up. Pointing at Elijah Smith, he spat with rage, "You haven’t heard the last of me, Elijah Smith! I’m calling the police now! What makes you think you’re so special, hitting people like that? Are you even aware you have a criminal record? It’s f***ing easy for me to deal with you!"

Elijah Smith’s eyes seemed to ignite with a layer of fire, turning blood-red, as he charged at the man again.

The man backed up in fear, but Christopher Bell reacted quickly, stopping Elijah Smith and pushing him out of the private booth towards the restroom. He instructed Elijah to wash the blood from his face and hands before heading back into the booth.

Christopher Bell grabbed his bag, pulled out a wad of cash, and stuffed it into the hand of the man Elijah Smith had just beaten, saying, "Elijah’s just like this, try to bear with him."
