Chapter 710: Chapter 728: The Most Surprising Conjecture (1)

"Day-use? Night-use?" Raymond’s eyes suddenly lit up: "Father, I want two as well, matcha flavor, one day-use and one night-use. I’ll eat one at night and one tomorrow at noon."

Percy Stanton slammed the door shut and left.

Children lose their integrity when it comes to food, so Raymond sniffed and turned to Isabel, "Sister Isabel, when Father buys you the Angel Bread, can you let me try some too?"

Isabel’s face turned as red as if she was on fire. She nodded her head in a fluster and went back into the restroom.

...

After Percy bought the sanitary napkins and Isabel changed in the restroom, the family of three began eating dinner at the dining table.

Raymond had the black bag containing the so-called "Angel Bread" that Percy brought back, on his mind, so he was somewhat absent-minded while eating. After dinner, while Percy and Isabel were washing the dishes, Raymond ran to Percy’s bedroom.

...

When Percy and Isabel finished washing the dishes and returned to the bedroom, they were instantly shocked by the scene inside the room.

White fluff, similar to feathers, was floating everywhere, covering the entire room.

The two of them glanced at each other before quickly walking in and then saw Raymond squatting on the floor by the tea table, using a floor fan to blow himself, while in his hand, he was tearing open one of the sanitary napkins. He emptied the cotton material inside the sanitary napkin and placed it in front of the floor fan, watching the gentle cotton wisps fly away from his palms, playing happily.

Percy’s expression darkened instantly, "Raymond!"

Raymond looked up at Percy and Isabel but instead corrected them first, "Father, Sister Isabel, you lied to me. The Angel Bread is not edible, but it’s quite fun to play with like this!"

Seeing bits of white cotton scattered everywhere, Percy, with a bit of a headache, walked over and picked up Raymond.

Isabel, feeling sorry for Raymond, rushed to protect him in her arms, glancing at Percy with dissatisfaction, "You clean up the room, and I’ll reason with Raymond."

Percy could only comply obediently, although he was holding in anger, he silently brought the vacuum cleaner and cleaned the room.

Isabel held Raymond in her arms and sat on the sofa, patiently telling him, "Raymond, that’s not the way to use those items. They are a type of daily-use product for your sister, just as important as toothpaste and toothbrushes."

"Sister Isabel, why doesn’t Raymond need to use them?"

Isabel was speechless for a moment before patting Raymond’s head gently, "Boys don’t use it, only girls do."

Raymond seemed to understand but was not fully convinced. He looked at the gentle Isabel and leaned into her arms, sweetly saying, "Sister Isabel, Father never explains such big truths to me. I’m hoping more and more that you’ll become my mother soon!"

Isabel felt sweet joy in her heart. These days, she and Raymond had been getting along better and better. She had also been looking for an opportunity to reveal the truth to Raymond about her being his mother. So after hearing Raymond say that, Isabel thought it was a good opportunity. She looked into Raymond’s eyes and said, "Raymond, can I tell you a secret now?"

"You can." Raymond turned his head, his eyes full of expectation as he looked at Isabel, assuring her by raising his little hand, "Sister Isabel, I promise I’ll keep your secret."

Isabel didn’t smile as she usually would at Raymond’s mischief. Instead, she nervously began speaking, "Raymond, if I told you that you don’t need to hope for me to become your mother, because I have always been your mother, would you accept me?"

Percy, cleaning the room with the vacuum cleaner on the side, heard this and his actions suddenly paused.
