Chapter 695: Chapter 713: I Want to Do Something Bad (6)
In front of them lay a man who was blindfolded and bound, struggling and constantly shouting, "Where have you brought me? Let me go! Who the hell are you and what do you want?"
However, no matter how much he screamed, the only response he received was silence.
Time passed minute by minute, and the blindfolded man gradually lost his strength and stopped making noise.
The door to the inner cabin was suddenly pushed open, followed by a respectful voice: "Mr. Stanton..."
Percy Stanton did not speak, nor did he even glance at the people in the outer cabin. He just walked slowly with Tony to the sofa directly in front of them, sitting down elegantly and indifferently.
Tony stood on Percy Stanton’s right side.
The man in black clothing on the far left brought Stanton a cup of coffee and placed it on the table in front of him.
The respectful voice, steady footsteps, and elegant fragrance caused the blindfolded man to feel an overwhelming presence all at once. It was a presence he had never encountered before, which silenced him as he held his breath, listening intently to the atmosphere around him.
As if uninterested in the prone man, Percy Stanton still didn’t look at him. Instead, he slowly picked up the steaming coffee in front of him and gently stirred it twice with a spoon, making no noise. Then, he looked down and slowly blew on the coffee before calmly speaking: "Take off the blindfold."
He then took a leisurely sip of coffee.
When Percy Stanton looked up again, the blindfolded man’s vision had been restored and their eyes met.
Percy Stanton seemingly ignored him, continuing to enjoy his coffee at a casual pace as he ordered in a tone that allowed for no resistance: "Untie him."
Percy Stanton seemed to time the untying perfectly, as by the time he lifted his head up from the coffee cup again, the man had regained his freedom.
Stanton slowly set down the coffee cup and stared at the man’s face as he said: "Full Name: Theodore Bundy, Age: 29, Born in Eldoria, Chanaea, Unmarried."
"Puppy Love at sixteen, got a girl pregnant. At 17, he was sent to prison for one month for theft. After his release, he involved in fights and accidentally injured someone severely. He paid 300,000 to settle the matter privately, sentenced to one year and eight months. After his release, he became addicted to gambling and fell in love for the second time in a casino. He and his girlfriend subsequently became addicted to drugs, and he was arrested for drug abuse the following August. He stayed in a rehabilitation center for seven months, succeeded in quitting drugs, moved to Bellshire, and started a business with friends. Multiple failed ventures led to sporadic arrests for fighting. He eventually opened a music practice room, which made huge losses the beginning of last year. Since then, he has lived on the edge, having lost everything."
Percy’s tone was exceptionally calm, neither too heavy nor too light, as he recounted the life experiences of the man named Theodore Bundy.
As Percy spoke, Theodore’s complexion gradually turned pale. Though all the man did was sit there and recite his past, Theodore felt an inexplicable sense of terror deep within his heart.
He couldn’t explain where this fear came from.
Percy was looking at the man in front of him, a faint smile lingering on the corner of his lips. He then asked unhurriedly, "Mr. Bundy, your past is quite exciting. Going to prison is like visiting your own backyard garden. You must have been there so many times that there’s nothing to fear, right?"
