It was the day Percy was discharged that Isabel told him that Raymond was the child she had been looking for all these years.

Percy had arranged to be discharged at 10:30 am, and Tony Williams arrived at 9:30 to help Isabel with the discharge paperwork.

Returning to the room, Isabel glanced at Raymond, who had already put on his small school bag. She patted his head and said, "Raymond, you go downstairs with Uncle Tony first. Your father and I have some things to deal with, and we’ll come down to find you in a moment, okay?"

Tony heard her words and knew she wanted to have an opportunity to speak with Percy privately. He walked over, picked up Raymond in one hand and held the bag of clothes they had brought to the hospital in the other, and walked out of the room.

Isabel waited until Tony walked out of the room, closed the door herself, and then looked at Percy who had changed out of his hospital gown and was wearing a white shirt, looking vigorous. She said seriously, "Percy, before we leave the hospital, there’s something I need to tell you."
