Chapter 662: Chapter 680: Even if I Die, I’ll Accompany You (13)

She was afraid Raymond would notice something strange, so she quickly turned her head and said with a trembling voice, "Raymond, Mum.."

Isabel only said one word before suddenly stopping, then she took a deep breath, suppressing the torrents of emotions deep in her heart, and said, "Older Sister misses Raymond."

Raymond didn’t notice anything unusual about Isabel, and after hearing her words, his face flushed slightly. He turned his head towards her and whispered in her ear, "Sister Isabel, I missed you too."

The unique childish tone, carrying a warm breeze, blew straight from Isabel’s ear to the bottom of her heart.

Isabel’s breath hitched, and she couldn’t help but raise her hand to embrace Raymond tightly in her arms. As she felt his very real presence, her heart slowly grew steadier with every passing moment.

Raymond was a little stunned by Isabel’s sudden embrace. His neck reddened and the blush spread to his ears. A hint of happiness bubbled in his heart, thinking, was it because Sister Isabel spent time with Father that she still loved him the most?

Raymond couldn’t help but nuzzle closer to Isabel. His soft little body, like a puddle of mire, clung tightly to Isabel. His real existence in her arms made Isabel’s heart swell with happiness, and her emotions began to calm down.

After a while, a knock on the infirmary door broke the silence, followed by a nurse pushing a food trolley into the room.

"Is it time for breakfast?" Isabel asked the nurse as she loosened her embrace with Raymond.

"Yes."

"I’ll... I’ll feed him," Isabel responded. She stood up, picked up the food from the trolley, placed it on the mobile dining table, and pushed it to the bedside. Just as she was about to feed Raymond, he suddenly reminded her, "Sister Isabel, I haven’t brushed my teeth yet."

Isabel couldn’t help but blush slightly. In her excitement, she had completely forgotten about washing up. So, she put down the small bowl, carried Raymond from the bed to the restroom, and stood close by his side while she personally washed his face. She then squeezed toothpaste onto his toothbrush and handed it to him, stopping just short of brushing his teeth for him.

After Raymond finished washing up, he stood in the restroom, turned around, and pointed towards the door, saying to Isabel, "Sister Isabel, can you please go out first?"

Isabel didn’t move, but asked, "Raymond, what do you want to do? Tell Sister Isabel, so she can help you."

Raymond’s face turned even redder, and after hesitating for a moment, he whispered, "Sister Isabel, I need to pee. Can you please go out first.."

After saying this, Raymond glanced at Isabel, who still hadn’t moved, and then continued bashfully, "Sister Isabel, there are boundaries between males and females."

Isabel couldn’t help but laugh. She raised her hand to touch Raymond’s little head and said, "Raymond is so cute, knowing the difference between men and women."

Raymond just blushed and said nothing.

Seeing how adorable Raymond was, Isabel wanted nothing more than to hold him in her arms again. "Then Sister Isabel will wait for you outside."

Raymond nodded.

Isabel reluctantly walked outside. After taking a couple of steps, she turned around and reminded him with concern, "Raymond, if you need any help, don’t hesitate to call me!"

Raymond made a sound of acknowledgment, and he watched as Isabel left the bathroom and closed the door. Only then did he begin to raise his hand to remove his pants. Just as he had lowered them halfway, the door suddenly opened again. Raymond quickly covered the bottom half of his body, his face turning red as if smoke was emanating from it. He asked with repressed laughter, "Sister Isabel, what’s the matter?"

Isabel looked at Raymond, who was unharmed, and continued, "Raymond, if you need any help, don’t forget to call me."
