Chapter 631: Chapter 649: Dad, You Home-wrecker (2)

This Bubble Tea Shop, when Isabel Smith passed by it for the first time last year, she didn’t remember it right away. But today, as she revisited it, she suddenly recalled that it was in this very tea shop where she bought a mango milk tea and waited for Percy Stanton while sipping it.

Seeing that Isabel Smith kept staring at the tea shop, Percy Stanton pointed at it and asked, "Do you want to go in and sit down?"

Isabel Smith nodded, and they both walked in.

There were only two employees inside. As they saw Percy and Isabel walking in together, they immediately stood up with respectful expressions, about to call out "Boss," but Percy raised his hand silently and gestured for them not to say anything.

Percy Stanton and Isabel Smith sat down by the window.

Although the two didn’t order drinks, the tea shop employees didn’t ask either. After a while, they brought a cup of water and a pearl milk tea.

The pearl milk tea was just as Isabel Smith had tasted last year.

Back then, she had only taken a few sips of that milk tea when Percy Stanton, who suddenly turned against her, snatched it away and threw it into the trash can.

However, this time, Isabel Smith savored it bit by bit until it was finished.

She drank a lot of water, and before leaving the tea shop, she went to the restroom. When she came out, she saw Percy Stanton holding a pen, bending over and writing something in a notebook.

As she approached Percy Stanton, he suddenly closed the notebook, placed it on a nearby shelf, stood up, and said to Isabel Smith, "Let’s go."

They still walked back to the parking lot. By the time they got there, it was already getting dark, and the street lights had turned on. Percy Stanton and Isabel Smith got in the car, and Isabel turned her head and said, "Shall we go to the Four Seasons Hotel for dinner together?"

"Mm-hmm." Percy Stanton agreed without objection and started the car.

After dinner, Isabel Smith suggested they spend the night at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Percy Stanton didn’t object again, and with his ID card, he booked a room.

It was the Presidential Suite on the top floor of the Four Seasons Hotel. They had walked all day long and were inevitably a bit tired. Percy Stanton filled the bathtub with water and carried Isabel Smith in for a bath together.

When they returned to bed, Isabel Smith and Percy Stanton naturally engaged in what men and women would usually do.

Isabel Smith’s softness, or perhaps the feeling that they had spent such a perfect day together, made Percy Stanton especially energetic. He pulled Isabel Smith close, making love several times before finally settling down.

In the end, both of them were completely exhausted. Isabel Smith nestled in Percy Stanton’s arms, seemingly tired and fell asleep. After an unknown amount of time, Percy Stanton followed suit, his heart content as he drifted to sleep. Only then did Isabel Smith slowly open her eyes, turned her head, and gazed at Percy Stanton’s side face for a long time. Then, she raised her hand and gently touched his cheek. Her eyes suddenly filled with sorrow and vulnerability. It was only after a while that she turned her body, picked up the mobile phone placed nearby, gently aimed it at Percy Stanton’s face, took a photo, then quietly snuggled back into his arms. Keeping her eyes open, she stayed awake until the break of dawn without ever really falling asleep.

The next day, as the first rays of early morning sunlight fell upon the bed, Isabel Smith, who had held back her tears all night, couldn’t control them any longer as they fell.

The tears flowed silently onto Percy Stanton’s arm.

Fearing that she would disturb the man behind her, she quickly raised her hand and gently wiped the tears away. Yet, the tears seemed to hold a grudge against her, flowing even more as she tried to wipe them away.

In the end, Isabel Smith simply threw off the quilt, got out of bed, walked into the bathroom, and cried for a long time before coming out.

When she climbed back into bed, her movements were light, but they still woke Percy Stanton. The man pulled her on top of him, kissing her passionately, and then slowly opened his eyes. He saw the slightly red eyes of Isabel Smith, frowned, and asked, "Have you been crying?"
