"Just a moment." Percy Stanton said an apology into the phone and then covered the earpiece. He raised his head to look at Isabel Smith.

"Raymond asked me to get him some fruit juice. When I found it and came back, he was gone. The door of the living room was still open."

Percy frowned, tilted his head, said a few low words into the phone and then hung up. He stood up and hastily stepped out of the study. He checked every room in the house, but found no sign of Raymond. His expression turned somewhat grave.

"Percy, I am sorry. I shouldn’t have left to get the fruit juice. If I stayed with him, he wouldn’t have run off." Isabel could not describe exactly how she felt, only that it was as if her child had run away. "Percy, we should hurry and start searching for him. What if he encounters nasty people or danger...And so many vehicles in Bellshire City. What if he’s crossing the road..."

The more Isabel spoke, the more her anxiety formed a knot in her heart. In the end, she simply turned around, took her coat from the living room and put it on, heading straight for the door.

Percy’s brows knitted tightly. He grabbed the car keys from the table and quickly followed after Isabel, heading out the door.

Raymond took Bus 117 for roughly ten stops before hearing an announcement for transferring to Bus 223. He got off from his seat and ran up to the bus driver to double-check. When Bus 117 arrived at the stop, he obediently got off.

Bus 223 was conveniently parked behind Bus 117. Raymond followed the crowd, got on Bus 223 and dropped in another coin.

There was an empty seat on Bus 223. Raymond rushed over and sat down.

The bus departed again. At the next stop, some people got off and others got on – among them an elderly man. Raymond, being particularly considerate, stood up to give up his seat. In thanks, the old man gave Raymond an orange he had just bought from the supermarket.

By taking Bus 223 and switching to Bus 356, Raymond could get to Starhaven University.

By the time Raymond got off Bus 223, it was already five o’clock in the afternoon. He had not eaten much at noon due to the excitement of Isabel coming over to celebrate his birthday. Now he was feeling a little bit hungry, so after getting off Bus 223, Raymond went into a porridge shop on the roadside.

The waitress kindly asked what he would like to eat.

Raymond glanced at the menu, some of which he could not read. He simply checked the prices and ultimately ordered a relatively cheap pumpkin porridge.

After finishing his porridge, the sky had started to darken. Raymond left the porridge shop and returned to the bus stop to wait for Bus 356.

Isabel and Percy had no idea where Raymond had gone. They got in the car and drove around the streets, but found no trace of him.
