Isabel Smith stared at the photo for a long time before looking at the accompanying text. There were not many words, but they were full of deep emotion.

"My male god, you are more important than love itself."

As Isabel read the sentence, her entire body suddenly felt like it was in the ice and snow, cold and biting. Her eyes, inexplicably, began to sting.

Isabel stared at the Facebook post for a long time before clicking on Evelyn’s comments. All of the comments were from friends on Evelyn’s Facebook page.

There were more than a thousand comments. Isabel read them all carefully, not missing a single one. After reading them all, she refreshed the page to read any new comments.

Most of the comments praised the man for his remarkably handsome looks, while others asked Evelyn when they planned to get married.

Isabel scrolled through the comments for more than three hours before she closed her laptop, irritated.

Stiffening her body, she sat at her computer desk for a while before realizing that her face was wet with tears.

Isabel quickly raised her hand to wipe her tears, mockingly telling herself not to be so useless.

She dried her tears and forced herself to go to bed, but as she approached the bed, she suddenly heard a knocking sound coming from outside the door.

Isabel turned her head and saw that it was already past three in the morning. Who would come looking for her so late at night?

"It’s already 11 PM, of course, she is asleep."

"Wake her up. I’ll be at the Thompson Family Estate soon. I need to take her back to Bellshire."

"How can you just leave as soon as you came back to Ravenwood City? Can’t it wait until tomorrow?"

"Mmm, there was an unexpected situation and I must go back." Raymond turned the steering wheel and drove the car into the Thompson Family Estate. He parked directly in front of the castle, hung up the phone, hurriedly got out of the car and quickly walked into the house. Without even changing his shoes, he hurried upstairs, pushed open Evelyn’s bedroom door, picked her up right from the bed, grabbed her clothes from the side, and turned around without stopping to head back downstairs.
