Chapter 543: Chapter 559: A Persistent Confession (10)
Once or twice, Isabel hadn’t thought too much about it. But as this happened more often, she gradually began to suspect Percy. So, holding a worthless belt that Percy had just criticized, she waved it at him and said, "But I think it’s still not bad!"
Could it be that she wanted to buy this for George Vincent?
A belt, what a joke—such an ambiguous gift, absolutely not acceptable!
Percy immediately tensed his body and quickly said without thinking, "Isabel, your taste is so terrible! The color of this belt looks terrible!"
Isabel stared at him with her big, beautiful eyes for a while, finally realizing what Percy was up to!
He was just trying to ruin her shopping!
The key issue was, ruining her shopping was one thing, but he even said her taste was terrible!
Isabel chuckled and looked at Percy, "Really? But I think you look quite handsome!"
Percy was suddenly choked by Isabel’s words, speechless.
With her mood instantly lifted, Isabel bypassed Percy and continued to browse the men’s products at CUCCI.
So, Isabel was determined to buy a gift for George Vincent?
If that was the case... let’s choose the ugliest one.
After thinking about it, Percy circled the CUCCI counter for a long time and finally picked an old-fashioned wallet from many years ago, and it was even shit-brown.
No wonder these old wallets hadn’t sold out after so many years—so ugly!
Percy muttered to himself while pointing to the wallet for Isabel, "Isabel, I think this one is nice!"
Isabel leaned over, took a look, and then raised her head, looking suspiciously at Percy and asked in a tentative tone, "Are you sure?"
"I’m sure," Percy replied without hesitation, with a very serious expression.
"Then, please wrap this wallet for me," Isabel directly told the saleslady.
Isabel paid for the wallet, and during the transaction, the saleslady glanced at Percy several times with a strange look in her eyes.
Isabel held in her laughter and left CUCCI with Percy after checking out. Then she removed the wallet from the gift box and handed it to Percy, "Here, it’s a gift for you."
Percy looked at the hideously ugly wallet and was suddenly dumbfounded.
Isabel’s smile grew stronger as she watched Percy’s expression change unpredictably. She tried to suppress her upturned lips, shook the wallet, and her eyes curved, "Percy, you bought me so much stuff today; this is my way of repaying you."
So, Isabel was actually buying a gift for him!
How had he picked such a terrible gift for himself from so many good-looking new items just now?
Percy stared at the wallet and swallowed, annoyed with himself, before finally reaching out slowly to take it.
Isabel saw Percy’s tormented expression and couldn’t help but lower her head with a smile. Then, she looked up, blinked her bright eyes, and furrowed her brows, "You thought it was nice just now, but you don’t like it now?"
"No..." Percy immediately shook his head without thinking, saying insincerely to Isabel, "That’s absolutely not true, I really like it."
"Really?" Isabel asked again, not quite convinced.
"Really, Isabel, anything you give me, I definitely like." As Percy followed Isabel out of the Shopping Mall, he fearfully hurried to take out the contents from his original wallet, worried that she wouldn’t believe him.
