Chapter 542: Chapter 558 Relentless Confession (9)

And Percy, not knowing whether it was deliberate or unintentional, would look at her flushed cheeks as if he had received approval, and added, facing Isabel, asking, "What do you think, Isabel?"

Isabel felt so embarrassed that her entire body seemed to burn, and somewhat unwilling to deal with Percy, she turned around and walked out of the storefront first.

Percy, in a great mood, picked up the shopping bags and quickly followed Isabel.

He never knew that spending money on his beloved woman could be such a happy thing!

The two of them unknowingly spent an afternoon shopping, and it wasn’t until they were eating dinner in the tea restaurant on the top floor of the building that Isabel noticed how much she had bought. She immediately felt a little embarrassed.

Most of these items were from big brands, and she had spent quite a bit of Percy’s money in one afternoon.

She hadn’t even agreed to be with Percy, and she was a little unsure about what she should do. It seemed a bit wrong to spend his money this way.

She knew that, for her, this was a considerable amount of money, but for Percy, it didn’t really matter.

Still, she couldn’t help but feel a little uncomfortable deep down.

Isabel looked up and sized up the man sitting across from her, who was eating gracefully. She felt increasingly uneasy. Would he think she was taking advantage of his affection and trying to take his money?

It was strange. She had spent Percy’s money before, so why was she having these thoughts now, and why did she care so much?

Isabel glanced at the large and small shopping bags with the corner of her eye, thinking that if she gave these items back to Percy now, she would seem even more hypocritical.

What should she do to make Percy not think she was vain, while also making herself feel comfortable?

Isabel absentmindedly finished her meal. When Percy paid the bill and they were passing by CUCCI while going downstairs, Isabel suddenly said, "Percy, let’s go in and have a look. I want to buy a wallet."

Percy, of course, had no objections, and carrying the things Isabel had bought, he followed her into the CUCCI store.

The CUCCI saleslady was very attentive, following Isabel and introducing the latest products, but Isabel seemed not to hear and walked straight to the men’s section, where she slowed down.

"Miss, are you looking for men’s items to give to your boyfriend?"

Isabel didn’t say anything, just looked at the items one by one.

Sitting not far away waiting to pay the bill, Percy, with his sharp ears, immediately put down the magazine he was holding and walked over to Isabel.

Isabel was picking out men’s items. Who was she going to give them to?

Could it be George Vincent?

Percy quickly walked up to Isabel and asked her, "What have you picked out?" while his mind raced, plotting how to foil Isabel’s gift-buying plans.

Isabel didn’t respond to Percy’s question, just continued to look at the items, then pointed to a tie clip and said, "Please let me have a look at this one."

The saleslady quickly handed her the item.

Isabel examined it from left to right, and before she could give her opinion, Percy impatiently spoke up, "This tie clip has a weak design; it doesn’t look high-end or classy at all."

But this was clearly CUCCI’s latest design... Isabel held it in her palm and looked at it. Although she thought it was quite good, in the end, she respected Percy’s opinion and returned the tie clip to the saleslady, then continued to choose other gifts.

From then on, no matter what Isabel picked out, Percy was always able to viciously point out flaws.
