Chapter 536: Chapter 552: Relentless Confession (3)
The two people in the car seemed to have no intention of paying attention to the outside world, arguing with full concentration.
"If you two want to argue, please pull over—" The words of the traffic police had just fallen when Percy Stanton’s expression inside the car suddenly turned dark. He stared at the gorgeous woman in a long skirt and said word by word, "Isabel Smith, I’m officially warning you now, if you dare say anything like that again, I will slap you to death!"
As soon as Percy Stanton’s words were spoken, Isabel Smith quickly raised her hand and slapped his face with a few "bang bang bang" noises. After she was done, Isabel Smith put her face close to Percy Stanton’s and tilted her head, "Come on, Percy, don’t just talk, do it, slap me!"
The two police officers outside the window, who initially wanted to resolve the traffic issue, didn’t expect trouble to arise inside the car. They completely forgot their original intention and started resolving the couple’s quarrel inside the car: "If you can argue, don’t use your hands..."
Percy Stanton looked at Isabel Smith, and Isabel Smith looked at Percy Stanton, completely ignoring the traffic police outside.
However, after Young Miss Isabel Smith’s temper flared and she accidentally slapped Percy Stanton, she felt a little guilty. She wasn’t entirely sure if Percy Stanton would be mad or not?
Percy was startled for a moment, then suddenly smiled, revealing his beautiful face. This was the first time someone had hit him in his life. No matter how deep their love was, their first experience was unique. It felt great that Isabel’s first time was with him..
First time falling in love with you, first time waiting for you, first time accommodating you...and first time being hit by you...
After being hit, Percy Stanton’s heart bloomed like flowers. He grinned, as if he had encountered something worth celebrating and rejoicing. He moved his still-stunning face close to Isabel Smith’s, kissed her twice, and touched her face with a smile like spring wind, saying in a domineering and fierce tone, "Fine, I admit, I dare not slap you! But you want to have lunch with George Vincent? No way!"
Isabel Smith’s worried heart suddenly fell back into her stomach. Even she didn’t know why her anxiety from before had suddenly become so relaxed.
Although she clearly wasn’t angry, she pretended to be disgusted. She raised her hand to touch her face and glared at Percy Stanton, gritting her teeth and saying, "Don’t bother me, and stay away from me, choose one!"
Percy Stanton looked into Isabel Smith’s eyes and said with a twinkle, "I choose to love you."
Isabel Smith suddenly turned her head to look out the window. However, because of Percy Stanton’s last five words, she couldn’t help but smile from the corner of her mouth.
Then, Percy Stanton stepped on the gas pedal, quickly crossed the roadway, and left.
The two traffic police officers who had been ignored by Percy Stanton and Isabel Smith from beginning to end stood still in their original place, their faces in disbelief as they watched the car gradually disappear into the distance. They both stood there on Main Street, looking at each other, feeling that the scene they had just witnessed was quite strange!
They’d never seen a couple argue like that, right?
...
Percy Stanton smoothly controlled the car and made a turn on the road ahead. He glanced at Isabel Smith through the rearview mirror from time to time, asking, "Isabel, what do you want to eat for lunch?"
Isabel Smith quickly hid the smile that had appeared on her face, turned her head, and looked at Percy Stanton, "Percy, you said in Ravenwood City that you wouldn’t force me."
"But I also said that I wouldn’t give up on you."
Isabel Smith pouted her mouth, rolling her eyes, "You are obviously forcing me to have lunch with you."
Percy Stanton looked at Isabel Smith’s angry expression, the corners of his lips curling and the bottom of his eyes shining, he laughed softly, saying, "Isabel, this is a free meal delivered to your door. It’s such a good thing, it can’t be considered forcing you, at most, it’s temptation. And you’re actually complaining about it?"
