While in the restroom, Isabel Smith sat on the toilet and stared at her mobile phone for a while before finally turning it on after having it off for several days.

After the phone had been on for thirty seconds, text message notifications poured in. In no time, she received fifty to sixty messages.

Isabel scrolled through the messages, the majority of which were from George Vincent, Mrs. Smith, and Secretary Emille. There were also some missed call notifications, among which Percy Stanton had over twenty missed calls.

Isabel glanced over the other content, and most of George Vincent’s messages were questions about her whereabouts and what was going on.

Isabel frowned, puzzled by the meaning of the message from Mrs. Smith. Isabel was stunned by the last sentence from Secretary Emille for a moment. She stared at the line of text on her phone for a while, going back and forth before quickly opening a web page and typing "Thompson Empire Group CEO" into Google.

The webpage loaded, revealing numerous news articles about the Thompson Empire Group CEO. The top few articles, published a few days ago, read: "The True Identity of the New Thompson Empire Group CEO Revealed!"

Isabel pursed her lips and clicked on an article. She first saw a video, followed by a photo. With just one glance, she recognized the man sitting in the VIP seats at the Bellshire Grand Hotel engagement party as Percy Stanton.

She didn’t bother reading the black text below but went straight to the video above.

The video began with Percy Stanton sitting in the VIP area.
