Chapter 515: Chapter 531 How long until you remember me? (6)

George Vincent’s hand clenched into a tight fist, and he tilted his head slightly to peer through the glass. Outside, under the dim street lamp, on the cobblestone path, two people were tightly embracing each other, kissing passionately.

That woman’s face was facing him, her eyes gently closed, her head held high, offering her snowy white neck to the man’s kisses.

When he saw the woman’s face clearly, his expression instantly turned extremely cold.

It was Charlotte Green... He knew her, he met her on the fifth day after he and Isabel Smith sent out their wedding announcement at Magnificent. She greeted him then, but because she was Isabel Smith’s cousin, he was polite to her. Later, she sought him out several times, each time late at night. Even if he was slow to understand, he eventually realized her intentions. Because they might soon become family, he simply stopped answering her calls, and she stopped contacting him.

He thought it was just a small episode, not worth mentioning, but now he realized she hadn’t given up - she had just switched from him to someone else!

Although George Vincent couldn’t see the face of the man kissing Charlotte Green, he was all too familiar with that silhouette. Even if he closed his eyes, he could still conjure the image in his mind!

Because that person was... his father... Robert Vincent!

Ha, how ridiculous... his father was having an affair with his fiancée’s cousin? What a mess!

...

The next day, Percy Stanton woke up earlier than Isabel Smith. Because of the intense passion of the previous night, he hadn’t had time to draw the curtains. When he woke up, the morning sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating both his and Isabel Smith’s faces.

When he turned his head, he saw Isabel Smith sleeping soundly, her lips slightly curled as if she was having a beautiful dream. Her fair skin, under the morning sunlight, had a hint of pink, which stirred his desire once more.

He was afraid Raymond Thompson might suddenly wake up, so he quickly threw off the quilt, picked up his clothes, and sneaked out of Isabel’s room. Then he quickly rushed into the bath room, took a cold bath to suppress his physical and mental desires, and only then felt refreshed. Standing in front of the floor mirror in the bath room and drying his body, he noticed the nail marks on his back, and his lower body was once again aroused.

He tilted his head, took a few deep breaths, picked up his clothes, dressed neatly, stepped out of the bath room, and began preparing breakfast for the still sleeping mother and son.

...

At breakfast, Raymond Thompson, with keen eyes, noticed a red mark on Percy Stanton’s neck and asked in a soft, whispery voice, "Father, what happened to your neck? It’s red."

Isabel Smith, sitting across from Percy Stanton, heard this and looked up, immediately noticing the scratch marks on his fair skin, and her face flushed red as she thought of their passionate night. She hung her head, feeling somewhat embarrassed to face Percy Stanton.

Percy Stanton, however, appeared much more composed than she, touched his neck, and pretended to be ignorant, saying, "I don’t know."

Raymond blinked innocently, gazing at Isabel Smith as he said, "Sister Isabel, you should eat more."

"Thank you, Raymond." Isabel Smith looked at Raymond’s pure and innocent eyes and, for some reason, felt her face grow even hotter.

...

After breakfast, the trio went for a hike on a low mountain behind Redleaf Manor.

They didn’t take the cable car, but climbed all the way up from the bottom.

Although the mountain wasn’t high, the path was winding and twisted. Isabel Smith wasn’t used to exercise, and after only an hour of walking, she felt out of breath. She saw Raymond, five years old, walking without any difficulty and felt embarrassed to suggest they take a break.
