Chapter 510: Chapter 526 How long until you remember me? (1)
The smile at the corner of Percy Stanton’s mouth suddenly turned into embarrassment, as he now thoroughly understood what it meant to have a goddess-like opponent and a pig-like teammate!
Listening to the conversation between the father and son, Isabel Smith couldn’t help but chuckle, turning her head and looking at the blue sky, sea, and beach outside the window, changing the subject: "Ravenwood City does look quite beautiful."
Seeing Isabel smile, Raymond Thompson also smiled, and sweetly said, "Sister Isabel, I think you are even more beautiful."
Percy’s face instantly darkened.
...
After having lunch, Percy kept his word and drove Isabel around Ravenwood City, giving her a detailed explanation at each location.
Percy had a pleasant voice and was quite articulate, so Isabel was particularly entranced as she listened, even running excitedly to classic spots to take photos.
The last place they visited was the Music Fountain Square. The night was growing dim, and colorful lights illuminated the water in the fountain as it continuously sprayed, accompanied by beautiful music.
When they parked the car, Percy received a phone call from Tony Williams. Percy gestured for Isabel and Raymond to go ahead while he walked aside to answer the call.
"Mr. Stanton, there is a dinner party tonight at 8 PM. Are you ready now? Where should I pick you up?"
Only then did Percy belatedly recall that there was indeed such an event. He raised his head and looked at Isabel and Raymond having fun at the fountain. Lowering his eyes, he bluntly said, "I won’t be attending the dinner. I have someone more important to entertain."
Tony immediately exclaimed, "What?! Mr. Stanton, do you have any guests more important than the big clients coming all the way from the United States?"
Percy couldn’t be bothered to say more to Tony. Nonchalantly, he ended the call and slowly walked toward Isabel, who was taking pictures.
Hearing footsteps, Isabel turned and handed her mobile phone to Percy, "Take a picture of Raymond and me."
Percy stepped back for a better angle, focusing the camera only after Isabel and Raymond posed.
Through the phone’s camera, the square was brightly lit, and their faces were close together, with brilliant smiles. Perhaps due to the hazy night, Percy noticed an uncanny resemblance in their expressions.
Holding the phone, Percy spaced out for a while before taking the photo at Isabel’s urging. As he handed her phone back, he secretly sent the photo to his own mobile phone.
That night, they enjoyed a western-style dinner at the restaurant.
Surrounded by black walls and with red wine plus steaks on the table, the dim lamp light above created a beautiful atmosphere. As Percy lifted his head, he could see the love of his life sitting across from him, and he couldn’t help but wish that time would stand still.
After dinner, Percy drove Isabel to the seashore for some fresh air before taking her back to the Hyatt Grand Restaurant.
Percy watched Isabel enter the restaurant, then drove back to the Thompson Family Estate with Raymond Thompson.
...
Upon returning to the hotel, Isabel looked through the photos taken during the day, her mood still immersed in the relaxed atmosphere. After washing up, she miraculously fell asleep in bed.
Similarly, Percy enjoyed a good night’s sleep until dawn.
The next morning, Percy picked up Raymond and went to the Hyatt Grand Hotel to pick up Isabel.
Isabel received the reception desk’s phone call while she was still half-asleep and in a slightly irritable mood. Just as she was about to chastise the service staff for disrupting her peaceful sleep, she heard Percy’s pleasant voice come through the phone: "Hurry up and come down, we’ve been waiting for you for a long time."
