Upon hearing that, Percy Stanton tensed up immediately. Without a second thought, he snatched the mobile phone from Raymond Thompson’s hand and ignored his annoyed shout, "Father, give me back my phone!", as he strode out of Raymond’s bedroom and slammed the door behind him. He asked Edward Shaw on the phone, "Mr. Shaw, what is this all about?"

"So, Mr. Stanton really doesn’t know..." Edward Shaw paused, took the phone back from his young nephew Harry Clarke, disregarding his annoyed protest, and spoke to Percy sternly, "This is some very unpleasant news. To put it simply... Miss Smith got slapped in the face."

Percy’s eyebrows furrowed in an instant, and his eyes turned icy cold for a moment, "By whom?"

"One of Smith Corporation’s shareholders, a woman named Joseph Wood," Edward Shaw paused and continued, "News of this can be found on Joseph Wood’s Legal Wife’s Facebook. I think Mr. Stanton should take a look at it himself, as it’s not quite appropriate for me to relay some of the content."

After hearing this, Percy handed the phone back to Raymond, who had followed him out of the bedroom, turned around, returned to his room, picked up his own phone, walked over to the balcony, sat down in the rattan chair and typed Joseph Wood’s name on Facebook.

The first result that popped up was a post from Joseph Wood’s Legal Wife’s account. He clicked on the post.

Looking at Joseph Wood’s Legal Wife’s cursing words on Facebook, Percy took a while to understand that she was cursing Isabel for stealing her husband!

Below the text, there were also some photos she took of Joseph Wood and Isabel Smith.

He immediately picked up his phone and called his assistant, ordering him to have Joseph Wood’s wife’s Facebook account shut down as quickly as possible!

After hanging up, Percy still felt unsatisfied. He couldn’t help but open up Joseph Wood’s wife’s Facebook account again and send her a private message: I warn you to publicly apologize to Miss Isabel Smith in the shortest amount of time, or I will use legal means to make you pay a heavy price.

After typing out the message, Percy checked it carefully twice. Then, he hesitated for a bit, changed the word "hope" to "warn", and read it over again. Believing that the message carried enough weight, he pressed send.

Not even a minute had passed when Percy’s phone buzzed with multiple notifications. Picking it up, he saw that Joseph Wood’s Legal Wife had actually screenshot his private message to her and posted it on her own Facebook page. She even wrote a long tirade cursing him and shared the post with him. Then, a group of people he didn’t recognize started replying under the post — all with attacks aimed at him.
