Bug Abuse? I Swear I'm Just Playing Normally! -
Ch. 41 - The Snow Peas’ Frost Domain, Choy Man’s Lone Stand!
📢 New Novel Launch!
As the tombstones were devoured, the paranormal entities began to fight back. It was as if having their lair swallowed only made them more ferocious.
This was clearly their final desperate counterattack.
Bai Wan didn’t spare a single ray of sunlight, feeding it straight to the Snow Peas so they could unleash their ultimate moves.
Whoosh—whoosh!
The four Snow Peas were suddenly encased in shimmering frost. The surrounding air grew colder and colder… Their energy levels climbed rapidly. Once maxed out, they’d fire their ultimates.
The ghosts sensed the terrifying chill coming from the above Tall-nuts and gathered in force, pouring toward the Snow Peas in a frenzy.
Wuuu…
Some of the ghosts started dripping blood, unleashing every last drop of their ghostly aura. Empowered by this aura, many of them leapt into the air, gaping maws wide as they lunged straight at the Snow Peas perched on the Wall-nuts.
Right now, before their ultimates were ready—the Snow Peas were at their most vulnerable. The ghosts had found the perfect opening. Cruel smiles twisted across their faces.
But then,—a nimble figure suddenly sprang up into the air. In the next instant, like a kung fu master, it unleashed a flurry of punches in a single breath.
Bang bang bang!
Its fists were so fast they left afterimages. Before the ghosts could react, they were smashed from the sky one by one.
Boom!
The airborne ghosts slammed into the ground, leaving a massive crater where they landed.
After knocking them down, the leafy figure landed gracefully back atop the Wall-nut.
The ghosts stared wide-eyed.
What were they seeing?
A Chinese cabbage… A Bok Choy looking down at them with utter disdain.
What the hell did they just see?? A cabbage… that knew kung fu??
Even for the vast mysteries of Chinese martial arts, it shouldn’t have reached the point where cabbages were practicing Wing Chun! This is unreal!
Bai Wan couldn’t help but grin as Master Ip Choy Man made his dramatic entrance. This was one of his favorite plants back when he played Plants vs. Zombies. After all—there was nothing more satisfying than that machine-gun flurry of punches!
The ghosts kept hurling themselves at the Snow Peas. Bai Wan didn’t hesitate as he poured all the remaining sunlight onto Choy Man too.
Level 1! Level 2! 3!!!
Choy Man’s aura swelled so visibly it could be seen with the naked eye.
Whoosh!
Choy Man rocketed into the sky and went all in right away!
Bang bang!
In his third stage, his fists moved like lightning.
Bang bang bang!!
Some ghosts had just reached midair and hadn’t even processed what hit them before three rapid punches slammed into their heads—in a blink, they were hammered back into the dirt.
Wooo…
A ghost dressed in a black funeral robe rose into the air.
It was clearly different—a colder, more sinister aura radiated from its body. The black funeral robe looked especially ominous.
Bang bang bang!
Choy Man’s fists pounded the ghost’s chest, but every blow was blocked by the heavy shroud.
Seeing this, the funeral shroud ghost let out a cruel grin. Its funeral robe was no ordinary cloth—it was a fearsome paranormal artifact, setting it far apart from the rank-and-file spirits.
Wooo!
With a chilling wail, it shot forward, aiming to teach this uppity cabbage a lesson.
But the instant it got close, something felt wrong. Choy Man raised his arms into an upward guard. Then, with a sudden surge of energy, a devastating blow exploded upward.
The ghost tried to dodge—but it was far too late.
A brutal uppercut smashed into its jaw.
Crack!
The sickening snap of breaking bone rang out.
This was Choy Man’s special move—the Uppercut—packing several times the power of an ordinary punch!
Bang bang bang!
He cracked its defense with the uppercut, then followed with a rapid barrage of normal strikes, pounding the funeral shroud ghost to the ground like any other ghost.
Whoosh!
However, the ghost was resilient—as soon as it hit the ground, it sprang up again. The ghost swarm grew furious. Their cold ghostly aura burst out in waves. Led by the funeral shroud ghost, they shot into the sky as one, a terrible curse power seething around them.
This time, they were determined to bring that cabbage down!
But Choy Man stood his ground, fearless in the face of the swarm. He jumped from the Wall-nut once more—that small body hurtling head-on into the ghostly tide, alone yet unstoppable.
Whoosh whoosh!!
Sunlight gathered around him, and in that moment, his ultimate exploded forth.
His already blinding punches grew even faster.
Bang bang bangbangbangBANGBANGBANG!!!
Five punches a second. Ten punches… faster still! Shadows of fists blurred together, forming a swirling domain of fists.
Choy Man spun like a Beyblade, and every ghost he touched was battered from the sky.
BANGBANGBANGBANG…!!!
His fists moved so fast the world around him seemed frozen, his small figure rampaged through the air like a storm. Wherever the ghosts came from, they were smashed back the way they came.
Watching Choy Man alone in the sky, standing guard over the battlefield by himself — Sun Qian and the others were utterly dumbstruck.
Holy crap. Freaking insane!! Master Choy is unstoppable!!!
Bai Wan felt his blood boiling from the spectacle too.
But as Choy Man’s ultimate faded, his movement slowed—he couldn’t hold them off any longer.
Just then, the four Snow Peas were finally ready. Frosty blue mist burst from their bodies.
BOOM!!!!!!
The four joined forces—countless frozen peas blasted into the air like a dozen machine guns firing at once. Wherever they passed, trails of frost carved downward, forming four icy paths that froze everything in their wake.
Crack!
Every ghost caught in the paths froze instantly. One ice pea after another slammed into the tide. The entire swarm was swallowed by an icy world.
This was the Snow Peas’ ultimate: a torrent of ice peas combined with four straight Frost Paths. Anything caught in their lines would be frozen solid and slowed to a crawl.
Just like that, the ghosts’ assault was crushed.
Seeing the frozen expanse, even Bai Wan couldn’t help but suck in a cold breath.
Insane.
Just four Snow Peas and one Choy Man—and they’d forced back an entire horde of paranormal entities.
With his plants dominating the field, Bai Wan finally let himself relax.
But at some point, Su Yuening had quietly walked up next to him.
“Need me to help with anything?” she asked sweet and softly.
Bai Wan turned his head—he’d just opened his mouth when his expression suddenly shifted. He spun, hurling a Cherry Bomb straight at ‘Su Yuening’.
The bomb struck her, swelling rapidly.
BOOM!
A deafening blast erupted. A wave of scorching heat rolled out several meters. ‘Su Yuening’ was blasted far away—black ghastly mist oozing out from beneath her skin.
Bai Wan narrowed his eyes at the ghost before him.
So it had stalked him all the way here from the cabin. That ghost cloaked in black mist was clearly Lin Yuan, who’d seized the chance to impersonate Su Yuening while Bai Wan was busy fighting the mass graves.
Earlier, Su Yuening had tripped and torn a hole in her pants—this careless ghost hadn’t copied that detail.
Good thing Bai Wan was sharp enough too. If he’d agreed to ‘Su Yuening’s’ offer or even just responded, he might have triggered some deadly killing condition.
The black mist ghost clearly took damage from the Cherry Bomb and fled in a swirl of vapor. But Bai Wan just stood frozen, staring at the drifting black fog.
Wait… what the hell was that?
The blast had blown away part of the black mist—Bai Wan glimpsed a quarter of the ghost’s face. He couldn’t see it clearly, but… that didn’t look like Lin Yuan’s face. It looked like… a woman’s?
A chill ran down Bai Wan’s spine.
He’d always assumed the black mist ghost was Lin Yuan, but it turned out to be some unknown woman?
He couldn’t piece it together yet, but he had a nagging feeling… They’d been wrong from the very start—and that mistake lay at the heart of this entire Letter dungeon.
While Bai Wan was still lost in thought, the graveyard trembled again. It seemed that destroying too many tombstones had roused something deep inside.
A massive tombstone emerged among the graves.
When Bai Wan saw it, his pupils contracted. Behind that enormous tombstone… a dark blood-red skeleton flickered eerily in and out of sight.
Is that…the incredibly rare Dark Blood Shop?!
