Chapter 1283: Chapter 1251: The Wave of Independence of the Ten Thousand Clans: Xianmen Sect Hopes You Will Quell the Rebellion, Great Sun Celestial Lord
“Fellow cultivators,”
“The Nine Spirit Realm of the Medium Thousand Worlds has already become a battlefield!”
The Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch said coldly.
“The Eight Great Immortal Sects and the Xianmen Sect are locked in fierce combat. For now, it remains evenly matched, with both sides suffering heavy casualties, yet the balance of power hasn’t tilted definitively toward either. Neither side possesses the resolve for mutual destruction at this point.”
The surrounding Heavenly Monarchs nodded slightly.
Before the appearance of the Horned Demon Imperial Clan, peace prevailed in the Nine Spirit Realm, and this wasn’t without reason.
Neither side could overpower the other to the point of destruction. They grudgingly endured each other’s existence, not out of some natural inclination for overcrowding or coexistence, but out of sheer practicality.
When the Xianmen Sect produced Refining Nothingness cultivators, the balance shifted slightly.
However, it still wasn’t enough to bring decisive change.
This was because Xianmen’s planet-level warships, Harmonization Stage army formations, Harmonization Realm formation magic, and other offensive capabilities were still being fervently developed. They hadn’t yet reached the transformative stage. More time was needed for peaceful consolidation to produce greater breakthroughs—more Divinity Transformation cultivators, more Refining Nothingness cultivators, and major technological advancements.
This type of peaceful consolidation deeply alarmed the Eight Great Immortal Sects, leading them to unilaterally tear up the peace treaty and shatter over a thousand years of hard-won harmony within the Boundary Realm Human Clan.
“Then, the Immortal Sect practitioners began deploying despicable tactics.”
“Those vile dogs!”
The Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch cursed, “They sent numerous scattered Divinity Transformation cultivators and Nascent Soul monks to open up secondary battlefields, massively supporting various slave clans within Xianmen’s Jiao Ming Domain to raid the Xianmen citizens attempting to reclaim Minor Thousand Worlds, all while establishing so-called ‘independent slave states’.”
“Of course, these so-called independent slave states are nothing more than a façade—a thinly veiled attempt to preserve the appearance of an alliance.”
“These so-called puppet slave states are entirely controlled by the Eight Great Immortal Sects’ cultivators, from internal policies to major decisions.”
“During the fragmentation of the Minor Thousand Worlds within the Xianmen Jiao Ming Domain, the Shadow Demon Abyss cultivators played a significant role. That sect excels in both concealment and subversion, surpassing the Xianmen Sect in the achievement of Immortal Technology in these areas.”
The Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch produced stacks of documents and distributed them to the various Heavenly Monarchs attending the military council.
“Independent slave states…”
Jiang Ding received the files, murmuring quietly.
However, there were slight discrepancies between the content in the documents and the statements made by the Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch.
Many slave states had indeed established true independence.
These clans had long been slaves. With the sudden disappearance of the Horned Demon Imperial Clan above them, coupled with the Human Race’s ongoing battle against the Horned Demon Imperial Clan that left no room for managing them, all it took was nominal servitude and symbolic tribute payments for these slave clans to rapidly transform into a multitude of developing factions.
After centuries of fierce fighting, annexation, and expansion, numerous strong and independent Demon Race forces re-emerged within the different Minor Thousand Worlds.
The Eight Great Immortal Sects then participated further, inciting conspiracies, intensifying this cycle even more.
Originally, after securing victory in the war, Xianmen would’ve refocused its attention on cleaning up its sphere of influence.
This wouldn’t have been an issue.
Mere newly arisen factions from the Ten Thousand Clans could hardly hope to snatch victory away from Xianmen.
However, the problem is, Xianmen primarily mobilizes as large military corps!
Now, its corps are tied down by the Eight Great Immortal Sects, leaving Xianmen unable to mobilize dozens of separate corps for additional operations. Doing so would severely weaken the Void Refining Army Formation on the main battlefield and could lead to outright collapse.
The Xianmen Sect finds itself in a highly passive position now.
Deploying small units would only result in them being encircled and annihilated by the Immortal Sect practitioners, serving no purpose.
Deploying large-scale Starry Sky Fleets would drain strength away from the front-line battles.
If this stalemate continues, the seventy Minor Thousand Worlds controlled by the Horned Demon Imperial Clan won’t become a launchpad for Xianmen’s rise but instead a festering wound, siphoning Xianmen’s strength, drastically slowing its development speed, and potentially even triggering a decline in power.
This is because the Boundary Realm War has inflicted severe economic damage on Xianmen.
If adequate spoils of war aren’t secured post-victory to replenish losses, Xianmen could face an economic crisis that may take centuries or even millennia to recover from.
“Thus,”
Jiang Ding raised his head and looked at the Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch.
“Yes.”
“Great Sun Celestial Lord.”
The Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch affirmed solemnly, “Xianmen hopes that you will lead forces to suppress the rebellion and eliminate all alien race and Human Race cultivators with Xianmen blood debts in your hands, stabilizing Xianmen’s sphere of influence within the Jiao Ming Domain.”
“These Minor Thousand Worlds must become Xianmen’s continuous supply line, cultivating generation after generation of citizens for Xianmen and providing various logistic and manpower support to the front lines.”
“If conditions permit, it is only proper to retaliate and seize additional Minor Thousand Worlds.”
“However, despite such lofty goals, Xianmen’s ability to provide reinforcements is exceedingly limited.”
The Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch paused his speech briefly, his tone apologetic as he continued, “I can provide you with a Star Sky Guard Army as your personal troops.”
“Additionally, Xianmen will equip you with retired gear sufficient for 127 Starry Sky Corps, including second-line, third-line, and even Wu Period first-generation warships and fighters.”
“Frankly, after enduring the thousand-year conflict and facing the Eight Great Void Refining Sect’s fronts, while ensuring absolute security for the Mother Star, Xianmen is severely constrained in terms of available manpower.”
He spoke solemnly.
“This is precisely the Eight Great Old Monsters’ scheme. I suspect they planned everything meticulously before the war began, launching their offensive immediately after the Horned Demon Imperial Clan war concluded without any interval.”
“This is certainly no coincidence.”
All the surrounding Heavenly Monarchs turned their gazes toward the green-clothed youth.
“Wu Period warships?”
Jiang Ding was momentarily stunned.
During the Sixth Generation Wu Period, Xianmen began developing warships.
They were nothing but lumps of iron.
Fragile, with short ranges, devoid of any intelligent automated Array Spirit structures, and reliant entirely on cultivators’ Divine Sense and mana to operate manually—their effective range was even shorter than the attacking range of Immortal Sect practitioners’ Treasures.
These warships were a complete disgrace.
Made with mundane-grade alloys, their material composition was so unremarkable that even their recycling value was negligible.
These ships had been invented during Xianmen’s poorest era—when a single Spirit Stone had to be halved for budgeting, elixirs were unheard of, and the sect was destitute enough to sell off essential belongings.
At the time, merely having something functional was the only redeeming trait for Xianmen’s first-generation warships. They had no other advantages.
Defensive capabilities, mobility, offensive power—every parameter fell short compared to Immortal Sect practitioners’ Treasures.
Doubtlessly, these abandoned warships had languished in Xianmen’s warehouses, eclipsed by newer models—forgotten relics of past contingency plans.
Now unearthed, refurbished, and sent back to the battlefield once again.
“At least they serve a purpose, really.”
“Jiang Ding.”
The Divine Mechanism Heavenly Monarch spoke with some embarrassment, “You can use these resources to arm Xianmen’s conscript armies, ensuring they fight for Xianmen and hold onto various Minor Thousand Worlds as resource hubs, all while waiting for the emergence of the next generation of Xianmen cultivators.”
“While these alien conscript armies might not best the Immortal Sect practitioners in battle, they can hold their positions, delay the assault of Immortal Sect forces, and buy time.”
