Chapter 56: Chapter 55

"You called me your boyfriend." Hiro said, turning to look at Raiden. "That wasn’t what we agreed on."

Raiden’s smile faltered. He should have known that Hiro wouldn’t like it. "What did you want me to introduce you as then?" He asked. "My sex partner?"

Hiro pursed his lips, not liking how it sounded. "Well, no. I um, I just didn’t expect you to say that. I mean, being your boyfriend is more serious than what we agreed upon. I’m just here to sleep with you, aren’t I?"

He turned his head away, fiddling with his thumbs for he felt nervous. Being a boyfriend required a lot of things. For instance, true feelings. Raiden held no form of affection for him. He only saw him as a medium to satisfy his desires so why call him a boyfriend?

Wait, why did such a thing bother him anyway? Was he hurt that Raiden didn’t like him anymore and just wanted him for sex? He thought he didn’t care but deep down, a part of him was frustrated knowing that Raiden didn’t like him like he used to.

"You’re right." Raiden said, putting a hand to Hiro’s chin and turning his face so their eyes could meet. "I just want to fuck you, Hiro."

Hiro felt a pang of pain in his chest. He immediately scowled. "Must you use such vulgar words? "

Raiden smirked and leaned forward, planting a kiss on his soft lips. "It is the truth, Hiro. I want to fuck you. I’ve been honest about that since we met again. If I could have my way, I would strip you naked right now, lay you on this chair, spread your legs and fuck the life out of you."

Hiro’s entire body shivered from Raiden’s words. He stared into Raiden’s intense smokey grey eyes, wondering how he could say such words without batting an eyelid or feeling shy. Raiden was so...crude.

"But here I am, practicing restraint which I almost never do." Raiden continued. "I’m also buying you clothes, a phone, treating you to lunch, taking you to see your sister. Oh, we’re also living together so what’s the difference? You’re basically my boyfriend. We’re doing everything a couple does. In fact, since we’re oit shopping, this should be a date. Our first date."

Hiro’s heart skipped a beat. First date....He had never been on a date before. And to think that it would be with Raiden. A person he used to fear so much. The guy that had stalked him in high school. It all felt weird but strangely right at the same time. He liked that Raiden was treating him as a boyfriend and not a sex toy but he also didn’t like it for he didn’t know exactly where he stood in Raiden’s life. His emotions were all jumbled up.

"Even if we’re acting like a couple, there’s still a difference." He said. "It is just an act that will last for a year or until you don’t want me anymore so I don’t think we should do this. I don’t think you should be buying me stuff and taking care of me like this. I don’t want to get used to it."

Tears brimmed in his eyes at the thought of being discarded at the end of everything or worse, even before. For years, no one had taken care of him the way Raiden took care of him in just two days. He was afraid that he’d get used to it and it’ll be hard for him to go back to his former life.

Raiden’s heart ached at the sight of tears in Hiro’s eyes. He pulled Hiro to his chest and wrapped his arms around him, hugging him tight. He understood what Hiro meant but what Hiro didn’t know was that he wasn’t planning on letting him go. Still, he couldn’t let Hiro know. Not until he wins his heart.

"Don’t cry." He said, his voice gentle. He raised a hand and stroked Hiro’s soft sandy brown locks in a soothing manner. "We had an agreement Hiro. I own you for a year. You are mine and I take care of what is mine. I’m sorry but you’ll just have to get used to it. Besides, how can you be around me looking like you were picked out of a trash can? How will I be able to take you out?"

"I can always stay at home." Hiro murmured. He felt it was better than being doted on by Raiden. For the first time in four years, he slept on a real bed. He had a hearty breakfast, rode in a luxurious car and even held a phone and had a video call with his sister. If these things keep happening in a year, how will he cope when their agreement ends?

"You’ll get tired of that, believe me." Raiden said. "I want to be able to take you everywhere, Hiro. I want you to always be by my side."

"But why?" Hiro pulled back slightly so he could look at Raiden. Why would Raiden want that? Hope ignited in his heart. Could Raiden still have feelings for him?

Raiden immediately cupped his ass and squeezed, giving him a devious smirk. "What do you think?"

Hiro scowled. He should have known. Raiden only wanted to sleep with him. Before he could say a word, Raiden held him by the back of his neck and smashed their lips together. He felt Raiden slip his tongue in, making him shiver as he held on to Raiden’s shirt, his body immediately softening. He wondered how Raiden could weaken him with a simple kiss. Ever since Michi’s uncle assaulted him, he never thought he’d like to be touched by a man much less enjoy it.

A sudden clearing of the throat interrupted them and Hiro, startled by the unexpected sound, instinctively began to pull away but Raiden gripped him firmly, stopping him from breaking the kiss as he shot a scathing look towards the source of the interruption.

Ruby.

His eyes narrowed with irritation, conveying a silent warning through his piercing gaze. Despite her presence, he refused to let Hiro go and instead, deepened the kiss, enjoying the way Hiro squirmed in his arms, letting out a soft whimper.
