Chapter 33: Chapter 32

This meant that Hiro had all the say when it came to the bedroom matters of their newfound relationship. "Thank you, Raiden." He said, feeling grateful. He thought Raiden was some cold heartless bastard but it turned out that he was nice and reasonable. He thought he was giving himself to a monster but Raiden was a kind man. He was going to make all their problems disappear and all he wanted in return was to have him as a companion for a year.

Well, a sex companion but Hiro didn’t find it so bad anymore because Raiden wasn’t the only one benefitting from it. He was too. He would be lying if he said he didn’t like the things Raiden had done to his body.

"You’re welcome." Raiden was immensely pleased with his himself. It was like he could see the gears turning in Hiro’s head. He was right to take the gentle approach. Now Hiro wouldn’t put up a wall between them. And Hiro could keep thinking he had all the power and could say no to his advances.

Like today, all he’d have to do is seduce him and make him want it, then ask for permission to which Hiro would no doubt say yes because he’d need release too. And everytime they did something, he’d keep Hiro wanting more.

He’d spoil him and shower him with so much love in one year that Hiro wouldn’t be able to imagine life without him. The one year deadline would mean nothing.

"Now, let me go take a shower and change then we’ll go see your sister. Is that okay?" He asked.

Hiro nodded instantly. He was happy to see his sister this time, knowing her surgery could be paid for in full. Raiden was going to take care of them all. They would not suffer again.

Raiden leaned in and planted a chaste kiss on Hiro’s forehead, leaving Hiro stunned as he gently moved him to the bed then stood up. "I won’t take long. Be comfortable. My place is your place now."

With that, he walked away and disappeared into the bathroom.

"Wow Hiro, who is your handsome friend?" Saika asked, her eyes not leaving the man standing beside Hiro.

He stood statuesque, a tower of strength with an ivory complexion. Strands of black hair, adorned with fiery red streaks, cascaded gracefully over half of his striking features. A straight, chiseled nose imparted an air of intelligence, perfectly complemented by his black suit and the sweeping elegance of a long black trench coat.

She sat upright, pushing a few strands of stray hair behind her ear as she gave a him a charming smile.

Hiro stood, dumbfounded. Was his sister attracted to Raiden???

Seeing as Hiro said nothing, Raiden took a step forward, giving her his hand. "My name is Yamato Raiden. I am Hiro’s boy-"

"Boss!" Hiro panicked and interjected instantly. "Boss! He’s my boss!"

He flashed Raiden a death glare, warning him to keep quiet. He didn’t want anyone knowing about the deal.

’So fiesty’ Raiden thought, amused. He liked it. "I’m his Boss." He said, smiling politely.

"Yes, Big sister." Hiro said, stepping forward and slapping Raiden’s hand down so he wouldn’t touch his sister. "My kind Boss here heard me talking about you to my co-workers and came to see you."

"What a lovely man." Saika said, still staring at Raiden. "Thank you so much sir."

"It is my pleasure ma’am." Raiden replied. His voice was a deep and smooth sonnet. There was a kind of magnetic allure that just seemed to hook people.

"Oh please, call me Saika." She giggled.

Raiden smiled. He had never had anything against Saika even when they were younger. The lady was always quiet and nice. He couldn’t recall her ever giving him any kind of problems. The complete opposite of Sora whom he reallu didn’t like. "How do you feel now?" He asked. "Hiro informed me that your surgery is scheduled tomorrow morning."

Saika sighed. "It feels a bit unreal to be honest. Yesterday, I didn’t think I’ll live. Today, I’m just over the moon and it’s all due to the efforts of my brothers. Especially Hiro. He always takes care of me."

Hiro pouted, turning his face so they wouldn’t see him blush. He had never been good with praises or compliments.

"And I was wondering why you do not look sick at all." Raiden said. "Hiro has certainly done a good job."

Saika giggled bashfully. "May I ask how old you are?"

"I’m 25 years old."

"I see...I am a bit older but age is just a number, isn’t it, Mr Yamato? She asked. "Or can I call you Raiden?"

Hiro frowned, listening to them converse. He didn’t like how into Raiden his sister was. There was a smile on her face he had never seen before. It was sly but also shy —a playful blend of mischief and flirtation. He also didn’t like how Raiden indulged his sister knowing about their own agreement.

Something stirred in his heart as he thought back to the moments they spent together before going to the hospital.

Okay. That’s it. He had to put an end to the nonsense.

He grabbed Raiden’s arm and drew him away from Saika, disrupting their conversation. "What do you think you’re doing?"

Raiden raised a perfectly arched brow, amused by Hiro’s reaction. "Having a good conversation with your sister."

They were talking in hushed tones.

"A good conversation?" Hiro scoffed. "You’re flirting with her!"

"I am not." Raiden defended. He then smirked. "What? Are you jealous?"

Hiro grimaced at the question. "W-What? Me? Jealous?"

Raiden grinned. "That’s the only explanation to your behaviour right now, Hiro. Remember, our agreement is just for a year. You cannot go catching feelings for me. It would only make things complicated okay." He playfully flicked Hiro’s nose then went back to conversing with Saika while thinking; ’Please catch feelings. Catch away. It would only make things better.’

Hiro was too stunned to reply. Him? Jealous? Catching feelings?

Impossible! It was downright impossible! He was the one that rejected Raiden for years not the other way around.

Still, it made him uncomfortable that Raiden was flirting with his sister.
