Chapter 215: To The Inferno

Atlas shrugged his shoulders and looked at Constantine, smiling and rolling his eyes. Constantine’s face suddenly lit up with a smile, and his eyes seemed to say, "What am I going to do with you, you silly boy?" as he tried to explain himself to Atlas.

Meanwhile, Cassandra’s words could finally be heard:

"What news from the main front, Constantine?"

As soon as Cassandra asked this question, everyone in the room focused their attention on her.

"To be honest, there’s not much good news..." said Constantine. He looked at Atlas and shook his head from side to side, as if he didn’t want him to hear anything.

"What happened?" asked Atlas in a serious tone.

"I’m not the one who should say it, Atlas... I’m sure you’ll be angry with us," Constantine said in a calm tone.

Atlas understood from these words that there was a serious problem.

"Then I’ll come with you and find out everything," Atlas replied.

Constantine nodded and said, "Yes, that’s the best thing to do."

The group prepared quickly. Juliet would not be coming this time, but Cosmo wanted to see those demons again, so he wanted to go to the main front. That was why, after two days that could be considered pleasant, Atlas, Cosmo, Constantine, and Aveline, who had tagged along, began flying directly towards the front.

Atlas saw Constantine’s dragon form for the first time.

It was a dragon covered in smooth, dark blue scales, with two jet-black horns and a tail ablaze with flames.

Just looking at Atlas’s expression was enough to embarrass Constantine, to put it bluntly. Not even a dragon as beautiful as Cosmo or Aveline could match Constantine’s dragon form.

That wasn’t all.

Even Nyx and Aphrodite herself had praised this appearance.

They weren’t wrong.

Constantine truly had a mesmerising dragon form.

After nearly ten hours of flight, the group had reached the southwestern continent known as the Inferno Continent.

This continent was called ’Inferno’ because the final moment of that massive war from ancient times, two million years ago, had taken place here.

The blows dealt by Cordelia, regarded as the greatest mage ever to wield the elements of Fire and Ice, were so powerful that one part of the continent was covered in the purest white ice, while the other was engulfed in crimson flames.

The centre point of this continent was called Inferno Point, or the place where ice and fire meet. The only kingdom on the continent was the Inferno Kingdom. Every person born in the kingdom was born with either an ice or fire elemental quality, and gods and goddesses such as Hephaestus, Demeter, and Hestia would frequently visit this kingdom.

The reason was not hard to understand.

This was the point where war existed, where everything spilt out. The flames in the eastern part of the continent helped the demons escape unseen, and the Sages did not seal off the entire continent with a barrier because they did not want to destroy it.

They could not simply destroy the continent, which had remained unchanged for nearly two million years and had become part of the world.

This was not like destroying a formation in the North Pole; it had become a continent that the gods and goddesses would bless.

Even when Atlas was still on Constantine’s back and approaching the relatively small continent from above, he encountered a perfect view and could even see the demons running through the flames.

Atlas was not the only one who saw this.

As soon as Cosmo noticed it, his body began to glow a deep purple colour. Before anyone could understand what was happening, Cosmo’s throat also began to glow the same colour, and a huge purple cloud of flames began to move towards the earth, towards the area where the demons were.

As the purple flames hit the ground, a massive sea of flames settled on top of the bright red flames, and the colour of the flames began to change.

The dark red flames began to completely destroy each demon, and agonising screams began to rise for several seconds.

Constantine, however, flew towards the Sages’ camp as if nothing had happened and landed in the middle of the ice field.

Aveline stayed behind to help her father, Cosmo, while Atlas entered the tent with Constantine.

As soon as he entered the tent, all eyes were on him.

Not only the Sages, but Eva, and even Aelia and Aether were there.

Each of them had managed to see the power within Atlas’s body.

"Atlas... How many magic rings do you have?" Eva asked suddenly.

Atlas was happy to see his sister and hugged her first, then Aelia and Aether. Immediately afterwards, he replied, "Eleven."

The three shook their heads from side to side, and even the Sages began to look at him as if he were crazy.

Still, Atlas’s purpose in coming here was not to show off his power. He couldn’t see Cordelia anywhere.

When a sudden look of concern appeared on his face, everyone seemed to be trying to hide something from him. Still, Atlas was naturally aware of this.

"Where is my teacher?" Atlas asked seriously. The way he asked was almost like he was ordering all of them to answer him.

All the Sages looked at each other at that moment. It was very clear that none of them wanted Atlas to see this. Nevertheless, Atlas looked at them so seriously that it was as if the person in front of him was Cordelia.

They felt as if they wanted to respond to his request.

When Atlas’s gaze turned to Talon, it was as if Talon was telling Atlas where Cordelia was with his eyes.

It was as if Talon had used his eyes to convey sentences of dozens of words.

When Atlas began walking as if there were nothing inside the enlarged tent and moved toward the place he understood from Talon’s gaze, it was as if he had been teleported to another place.

It was clear who was here.
