Chapter 83: The 13th Pack

Chapter 83: The 13th Pack

Rosina and Draco waited in the throne room for the Monarch to arrive. They had been waiting for almost 10 minutes when they came.

The King had his usual smile, but the Queen’s expression was not welcoming. She had furrowed eyebrows and was grimacing the whole time. They sat on their throne and looked at the couple in front of them.

"Ah, my dearest son and his wife. The King exclaimed with pride, " the new Princess Violante," Rocco Violante.

"You Majesty, King, and Queen Violante," Rosina curtsied with a gentle smile. She noticed that the Queen was eyeing her choice of clothes.

"You are beautiful," Rocco added and flicked his fingers. Multiple servants appeared carrying several boxes. "These are my gift to you as my daughter-in-law and a new royal member of this family."

"Thank you, Your Majesty. I appreciate your gifts," Rosina stated softly and placed her hand on her chest to make it look more sincere.

The Queen cleared her throat to gather everyone their attention.

"Congratulations on your wedding. I hope I don’t hear about any future problems in your relationship with Prince Draco," Cinzia glared at Draco, who had a playful grin.

"I will assure you. I’ll only look at my wife," Draco stated and held Rosina’s hand, pressing it softly. He looked at her lovingly as his eyes twinkled with hearts.

"You should. Don’t waste her worth," Cinzia stated harshly by accident as she couldn’t contain her anger. She looked into Rosina with a soft gaze. "Darling, whatever will happen in the future. Be free to come to me."

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Rosina curtsied toward the Queen. She knew what Cinzia meant. It was for the future if her marriage to Draco failed, but Rosina didn’t mind the Queen’s statement since her marriage to Draco was only in papers.

Queen Cinzia smiled and gestured for her servants to enter the throne room with her gifts to Rosina. "I hope you will use this in your new home."

Rosina tilted her head at the Queen’s statement. She glanced at Draco, who had a confused expression for ten seconds before shifting to a deadly look, but it only passed for a second.

Any normal wolf would have missed that tiny expression change, but Rosina was different.

’Are they plotting something?’ Rosina thought while staying in her acting.

"The Queen and I decided to give you the additional title of Duke and Duchess and a land to rule," Rocco stated, and a servant handed him an envelope on the tray. He opened it and gestured for Draco to come forward.

’I have a bad feeling about this,’ Rosina thought as she watched Draco’s back. She noticed a slight smirk on the Queen’s lips, and that was enough for Rosian to know that it was not a piece of good news for them.

"Father, what is the meaning of this?" Draco asked when he read what was stated in the letter.

"As the hold of Prince and Prince, Duke and Duchess title. I blessed you with another one. A land where you will rule as an Alpha and Luna. The rest will be in your care," Rocco stated with pride. He stood up and patted Draco’s shoulder, pressing it firmly before giving him a hug.

Rosina’s ears twitched when she heard a silent murmur coming from the King’s mouth and directed into Draco’s ears without the Queen knowing.

Draco didn’t say anything and accepted the letter before returning to Rosina’s side. "Thank you, Your Majesty. I will cherish this gift. I shall get ready as soon as possible for our journey."

Rosina sighed deeply and followed Draco when he bowed his head before leaving the throne room. The servants followed them with the gifts in hand.

When they entered the carriage, Draco loosened his collar. Evidently, he was pissed but tried to keep it all together.

"What was written in that letter?" Rosina asked, and instead of Draco answering her. He handed her the letter.

Rosina opened it, and her eyes nearly came out of her socket when she saw what was written inside.

"They were throwing us to the abandoned pack?" Rosina exclaimed and reread the letter again to understand each word without mistakes.

"Yes, the 13th pack in the Werewolf realm, but it wasn’t abandoned," Draco stated and leaned back. "It was packed with rogues from all the twelve packs."

Rosina pursed her lips. She knew what was inside the 13th pack to be considered abandoned since the place was far more dangerous than a predator. Surviving in that place was very rare, especially for women.

"Why did you accept it," Rosina asked since she was curious about what the King whispered to Draco that made him accept the responsibility without a fight.

Draco pursed his lips and looked outside the window. They were returning to the residence, and everything would start to change.

"My mother," Draco whispered. His eyes showed softness upon mentioning her mother.

Rosina smiled. She didn’t ask further questions since that word was enough to understand. She felt jealous of Draco as she never felt true happiness with her parents without faking it.

"I will help you find her," Rosina stated and grasped Draco’s hand, pressing it gently. She wanted to help Draco feel the happiness of meeting her mother, which would make her feel delighted since it was an emotion she didn’t felt before.

"Thank you," Draco stated and patted Rosina’s head while laughing loudly.

Rosina grabbed his hand and twisted it. "Don’t ruin my hair."

Draco laughed it off as they arrived at the residence. They had two weeks before transferring to the camp outside the 13th pack since it was the safest option before venturing inside.

Rosina entered her room while Draco gathered his people to share the news.

"13th pack. The world is indeed small," Rosina whispered while taking the ornaments in her head. She gazed at herself in the mirror while wearing the clothes that she actually liked. "I guess I’ll only have two weeks of wearing these dresses before hiding them away."

Rosina sat on the bed and gazed at the terrace before flopping her body on the mattress. Her mind started recalling her memories when she accidentally ventured to the 13th pack when she was young.

The Palecrest pack was closer to the 13th pack. Rosina remembered several teenagers trying to rebel and leave the pack and mistook the 13th pack as the place to keep them safe.

Rosina was one of them, but her reason was to save her life— her freedom. The memory was brutal and painful, and Rosina couldn’t keep up and tried to block them from appearing. Her wolf howled in pain and wanted to curl herself in the back of her head.

"I’m sorry," Rosina whispered to comfort her wolf. She sighed deeply when she finally maintained her brain processing from all her traumatic experiences.

There was one important thing she knew about the 13th pack. It was ruled by a strong Rogue King that was feared by all.

"I wonder if the Monarch sent Draco to that doomed place to fight the Rogue King while they stay in their comfortable beds," Rosina whispered. She knew things would go rough once they left the Palace walls, but she wasn’t afraid.

It made Rosina eager to face the Rogue King again, but she doubted he was still alive since he was old when she met him before.

"His d@mn son," Rosina muttered with hatred. Her hands curled into a tight fists as she wanted to strangle anyone in sight.

Rosina sighed deeply to calm herself since her blood was starting to boil from past memories. She walked toward the terrace and watched several servants panicking. Their faces showed fear, and their radiated scent made Rosina’s nose itch.

"If we go to the camp. Does that mean I won’t be able to taste c0cks for a while?" Rosina exclaimed, and her knees gave out from the realization. She fell to the ground while grasping her chest.

"How can I go on if I will use my fingers for months to come!" Rosina raised her hand and watched her fingers tremble.

"I can’t let this happen!" Rosina stood up and dragged herself to find Draco. She knew it was irrelevant to their current situation, but she needed a solution to her growing lust, or she would end up f^cking anyone that moved. Worst of all, she would f^ck Draco.

Rosina looked around, and Draco was nowhere to be found until she saw Silvio in the garden.

"Sir Silvio, have you seen my husband?" Rosina asked sweetly while trying to look calm and composed.

"Your Highness, Princess. I saw Prince Draco ride a carriage, but I don’t know where he went," Silvio answered with furrowed eyebrows. "Is there something wrong, Princess?"

"Nothing. Thank you for your time, Sir Silvio," Rosina smiled at him before going away. She knew precisely where Draco drove, and she would also go there.
