Alpha's Bite Between My Legs -
Chapter 51: The Crown Prince Invitation
Chapter 51: The Crown Prince Invitation
After two days, Rosina received an invitation from Gastone to accompany him to the town. She wanted to reject it since she knew the intention behind that invitation.
"The Queen and Gastone are really going to disturb my peace from now on," Rosina sighed deeply and groaned in the bed. She was lying down and didn’t even want to make an effort to prepare ahead of time.
"I wonder Draco knew about this," Rosina whispered but shook her head. "Nevermind, It’s not his business anyway."
Rosina rang her servants, and it didn’t take long before Sal and Fina rushed toward her room.
"You called for us, Lady Rosina."
"Yes, I’ll be going to the town after an hour," Rosina stated, and she saw how Fina and Sal’s faces changed from calm to panic.
"An hour, Lady?" Sal’s voice shivered as she talked and looked at what Rosina was wearing.
"Who will accompany you, if you don’t mind me asking, Lady Rosina," Fina smiled nervously and fidgeted in her gown.
"The Crown Prince invited me to go with him to the town city at 2:00 in the afternoon today," Rosina stated while reading what was said in the letter.
Sal and Fina looked at the clock on the table and saw it was already 1: 05.
"Oh my, we only have 55 minutes left, and we need to be early!" Fina exclaimed and started rummaging in the closet to find suitable clothes for Rosina, especially since she would be going with the Crown Prince.
"Have you taken a bath earlier, Lady?" Sal asked while biting her lips.
"I haven’t," Rosina replied with an innocent smile.
Sal flinched and immediately ran toward the bathroom to prepare Rosina’s bath.
Rosina couldn’t help but laugh at their panicked faces. She felt guilty for stressing them, but she didn’t really care.
After five minutes, Sal went out of the bathroom and informed Rosina that her bath was ready. Sal did her best to make her movements faster than usual and bathe Rosina for 15 minutes before it was done.
Fina had already prepared the clothes she would be wearing and other accessories. She was frantically pacing back and forth in the room while waiting for Rosina to come out from her bath.
"I’m done," Rosina stated when she came out in her bathrobe. Fina gently tucked her into the chair to start fixing her hair. Since they were late, Fina only braided her hair and made it into a bun with a blue ribbon attached in her hair.
For the gown, they prepared a simple blue dress that ended below her ankle and flat shoes for her not to get tired from too much walking.
Fina and Sal were literally sweating when they finished their job at making Rosina look decent enough to stand beside the Crown Prince.
"Thanks, you two," Rosina giggled and looked at herself through the mirror.
"Lady!" Sal’s voice raised when she looked at the time. "It’s 1:55!"
The three of them looked at one another for a short pause before they started panicking. Rosina adjusted her clothes before rushing out of the room while Fina was putting necessities and money into her bag.
Outside was the Crown Prince’s carriage, and Gastone was waiting for her with Ferro. When they saw her, Gastone’s face lit up like sunshine.
"Lady Rosina, you always bloom like a rose," Gastone stated and took Rosina’s hand and kissed her knuckles as a greeting.
"Your Highness, Crown Prince," Rosina stated as she curtsied.
"Let’s go. I have so many things to show you," Gastone stated with excitement and assisted her toward the carriage.
Rosina waved at her servants, who were breathing heavily from anxiousness.
"I thought you wouldn’t accept my invitation," Gastone stated with his signature smile. As if it was glued to his face.
Rosina blinked multiple times while trying to remember what was written in the letter, and she was sure that what was stated inside was more like a demand than an invitation.
But Rosina couldn’t snap at him. So she sucked it all up and put her fake personality.
"I won’t turn down your invitation, Your Highness," Rosina stated sweetly and wished that it would give Gastone diabetes.
"That’s good to hear. Then expect to see me very often this time," Gastone stated and took something behind him, a light pink rose, and handed it to Rosina. "This flower suited you very well."
"Thank you, Your Highness. I appreciate your effort to make a bond with me. After all, we will become a family soon," Rosina started innocently with a cheerful voice as she smelled the rose scent.
Rosina saw the little twitch at the corner of Gastone’s mouth upon hinting at her marriage to Draco, but she acted as if she didn’t know his real intention.
"Is he treating you well?" Gastone stated and leaned back, his smile still fixed on his face.
"Yes, he is a loving partner," Rosina said dreamily and added some body language to show that she was indeed in love.
"Do you know that Prince Draco is a Lady’s man?" Gastone went straight to the topic and wanted to confirm if Rosina knew or if she was being naive.
"I heard gossip surrounding Draco’s name. Some are bad, but there are good ones," Rosina stated and looked at the rose, playing with it. "But, he’s my mate. The Moon Goddess gave him to me."
Gastone pursed his lips while nodding his head. "Well, let’s enjoy our time together. After all, this will be our first bonding."
"Of course, Your Highness," Rosina lowered her head and smiled innocently at Gastone.
Rosina knew about their intention. She couldn’t understand why the Queen herself disapproved of her marrying Draco and pushed Gastone to her. She found it weird how the Queen directly showed who was her favorite child.
But since Rosina was bored from doing nothing, she decided to play along and see the end of their plan. The ride was silent as they both went to their own world of thoughts.
It didn’t take long before the carriage stopped. The coachman opened the door, and Gastone went out first and held his hand for Rosina to take, which she did.
Rosina looked around and was confused if they were really in town since the place was different from when she sneaked out and went alone.
"Your Highness, may I ask where we are?" Rosina whispered elegantly, showing that she was confused yet interested at the same time.
"This is the pack’s city, Lady Rosina," Gastone answered and guided Rosina in the street to the store they were going.
Rosina didn’t ask more questions and decided to look around for possible answers. The place she had gone in the city didn’t have fancy buildings or clean surroundings, and the people were primarily drunk and stinky.
While that place looked sophisticated and elegant. No trash could be seen anywhere, and the street was made of bricks and cement. The building was also tall, with exciting decorations that would attract customers to go in.
’I think I just had gone from peasant to rich city,’ Rosina thought and concluded that Gastone had brought her to where the rich werewolves live and shop.
Gastone had brought her to a boutique that sells different kinds of gowns and dresses. The entrance was extravagant, and the employees immediately greeted them as they entered the door.
"Welcome to the House of Belo, Your Highness and Lady."
Rosina smiled at the employees while Gastone ignored them and went straight to the mannequin’s dresses. She glanced at the back where several of Gastone’s guards were standing outside, and one of them followed behind.
Rosina never felt caged and pressured when she was with Draco. It was carefree but on the darker side, while Gastone lived lavishly with all seriousness.
Rosina couldn’t blame Gastone if he needed to act collected and refined all the time since he’s a Crown Prince and the next in line to the throne.
"Lady Rosina, look at these clothes. It will suit you very well," Gastone stated and pointed at the pink gown that had mini flower petals stitched on the laces.
"It’s beautiful," Rosina commented since the dress was indeed gorgeous, but it was not to her taste. She was even forced to wear the dresses Draco’s tailor created. It was too girly and innocent for her liking, but she didn’t mind at all.
"That’s good," Gastone smiled and called the employee standing behind them. "I want this dress."
"Yes, Your Highness," the employee immediately grabbed the dress from the mannequin while Gastsone proceeded to the next one.
Rosina looked around and noticed that no one was there to shop, only them. "Why is the shop empty?" she whispered her thoughts out loud.
"Because I rented the whole place for you to become comfortable at choosing what you wanted to wear," Gastone stated and showed Rosina another light-colored gown that was on display. "Do you like this as well?"
