Chapter 450: The Beige Fur
Gastone stopped at a clearing with flowers surrounding the area. It was a sight, and he planned to use it as a gate to the human world.
"Woah! This place is amazing!" Lucia exclaimed in awe. Her eyes twinkled while looking around, especially how the sun shined at a single spot.
"That’s good," Gastone replied with a nod. He was waiting for a perfect time to open the portal.
"It will be nice to have a picnic here. It’s secluded, too!" Lucia giggled before sitting on the ground, feeling the soft grass underneath her.
Gastone glanced at her. His mind imagined what it was like to picnic with Lucia and cuddle through the night while looking at the stars. He shook his head to remove the thoughts since he knew it wouldn’t be happening anytime soon.
"What do you think?" Lucia asked. She wanted to know Gastone’s opinion.
"Sure, why not," Gastone shrugged it off and turned around. He didn’t want Lucia to see him liking the idea.
"That’s good," Lucia replied, but her smile vanished. She sadly looked at the place one more time before running toward him. "Let’s go!" she added.
"Let’s wait a bit before continuing," Gastone replied and took the pouch he prepared for her. He handed it to Lucia’s hand without a word.
"What is this?" Lucia asked in confusion. She opened the pouch, and her eyes widened at what she had seen.
"Your salary and something to remember me when you’re out there living your best life," Gastone replied with a sweet smile on his face.
That image made Lucia’s heart skip a beat. His hair brightened as the sun glistened on him, making his facial features glow in handsomeness.
Lucia snapped her head away since she felt her nosebleed coming out from too much aura radiating from Gastone.
"Is there something wrong?" Gastone asked and tilted his head to the side. He was confused if Lucia liked what he gave or not.
"Oh, no," Lucia shook her head and focused her attention on the pouch. She could see gold coins she could sell and a necklace. She pulled it out, and her eyes widened at what she had seen.
A golden necklace has a single-letter pendant. It has tiny diamonds around the area.
"A ’G’ that’s interesting," Lucia stated and showed it to Gastone.
"Yes, so you will remember me. After all, that’s the first letter of my name. I hope it will give you strength and value in life if nothing good happens," Gastone smiled wryly as if he had done something memorable.
Lucia smiled awkwardly and placed the necklace back in the pouch. She didn’t want to wear it since it made her think Gastone was her lover due to the initial letter.
"T-thank you. It’s a nice gift," Lucia replied and secured the pouch in her bag. "You bought me many jewels before," she added, remembering the box she found that contained many items.
"Ah, yes. I have forgotten about that. It’s for you. I hope you bring them with you on your journey," Gastone proudly stated. He felt a boost after knowing Lucia knew about those he had bought for her.
"Ah, I just take some with me... I-it’s too heavy to carry them all," Lucia reasoned out, but the truth was she didn’t want to accept them to avoid making Gastone think she was taking advantage of him. She was, but didn’t want to make it that obvious.
"I see," Gastone nodded in understanding. "Take a rest for a minute. I’ll be back," he added before walking behind the tree.
Lucia thought Gastone went to pee. Hence, she didn’t ask further.
On the other hand, Gastone stared at the rose pendant in hand.
"I just need to lick it, and everything will be okay," Gastone muttered to himself before glancing at Lucia lying on the grass.
Gastone looked around for a suitable place and found thick bushes a few meters away from them.
"This is it," Gastone exclaimed in delight before returning to Lucia.
When Gastone was closer, he saw Lucia putting powder on her face, but that wasn’t what he focused on.
An unusual black cloud of smoke was coming close to Lucia. It was an entity unknown to the realm that activated Gastone’s protectiveness.
"LUCIA! RUN!" Gastone screamed at the top of his lungs, followed by a growl, which made the birds nearby fly away in fear.
Lucia flinched in surprise. She saw Gastone running toward her so fast, and goosebumps appeared on her skin. She felt something cold on her back, but she didn’t dare look.
Lucia believed it was a wild animal and running away would only result in chasing. She didn’t want Gastone to get hurt if that happened, so she stayed unmoving.
"LUCIA!" Gastone screamed after Lucia remained still. The black smoke grew closer, and he had no choice but to transform into his wolf to run faster.
"LUCIA! CLOSE YOUR EYES!" Gastone shouted while removing his clothes in haste.
Lucia followed since she was scared to look as well.
By then, Gastone had shifted into wolf form and yanked Lucia by her collar like a bag of rice.
The Black smoke vanished when it couldn’t reach Lucia.
Gastone immediately transformed back into his human form to avoid getting caught. It was a risky move that included showing his real identity, but it was worth it for Lucia’s safety.
"W-what’s going on?" Lucia whispered while in a fetal position to make herself smaller.
"Nothing. Just a wild fox," Gastone replied. He was holding Lucia with one hand.
"Oh," Lucia opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was Gastone’s dangling d1ck. She was amazed at how long it looked while being soft.
"Woah, what a sight to see," Lucia added before licking her lips.
"What are you? A pervert?" Gastone frowned and put Lucia down. He proceeded to pick up his clothes and wore them.
Lucia smiled, but looking at her hand, there were a few strands of beige fur. She had grabbed them when her body was tugged upward and felt an extreme softness, but it vanished too soon.
That made Lucia confused about where the fur came from since Gastone was the one holding her, and she was sure common foxes didn’t have beige coats.
