Chapter 415: The Skills on an Old

Gastone went to his room and could hear the groans of pain from Lucia, but he didn’t want to interfere with her pooping. He was slightly disgusted that Lucia vocally said it out loud.

But for some reason, Gastone found Lucia’s groans a lullaby, making him fall asleep.

On the other hand, Lucia suffered for hours with no help.

The day turned to night, and Gastone was currently in the kitchen looking for something to eat. He frowned, seeing an empty table with no Lucia in sight to cook for him.

"Is she still pooping at this hour?" Gastone muttered and looked upstairs. He wanted to talk to her but was afraid he could smell her poop. His nose picked up a fantastic smell from outside, and when he looked out the window, he saw Navin and Jorge cooking their own food past their house.

Their cabin was built a few meters away from Gastone to have a comfortable way of living while doing their own duties.

"That smells nice..." Gastone muttered and touched his stomach, which rumbled from hunger. He hadn’t eaten anything since they left, and a simple smell made him drool.

"No! That’s not right. How can I ask for food from them?" Gastone muttered and breathed deeply to control himself. He still thought he was high enough to dine with commoners, but he couldn’t simply ignore a good smell of food.

Gastone swallowed his pride and went out of the house. He walked straight to the knights with a hardened face.

Navin laughed after Jorge told him what had happened earlier in the town’s market. They couldn’t believe a problem would start because of an underwear theft.

The two knights stop enjoying themselves when they sense Gastone. They looked at the side and saw him walking toward them with glaring eyes. Even though they were tasked to guard Gastone and could use force to bring him down if he tried to escape. They still respect him as a fallen Prince of the Old.

"Good evening, Lord Gastone," they stated in unison.

Gastone stood stiffly and stared at the boiling pot and roasted beef on fire. He couldn’t help but gulp as he craved to taste those dishes.

Navin and Jorge looked at one another in confusion since Gastone was acting strange in their eyes.

Gastone never associate himself with lower knights. He didn’t even spend time with his private knights before since he only saw them as mere servants to offer their lives to him.

"What are you doing?" Gastone asked without taking his eyes off the dishes.

"Ah, we’re cooking dinner, Lord," Navin replied with an awkward smile.

*Gurgle*

Gastone’s stomach rumbled loudly in front of the two knights. He remained silent since he was too embarrassed to admit he was hungry, and the best thing he could do was leave. He pursed his lips before turning his back and was about to go when Navin stopped him.

"Do you like some meat, Lord? We have some to spare," Navin stated awkwardly.

"Are you hungry—?" Jorge couldn’t continue his question when Navin elbowed him in the stomach.

Navin didn’t want to experience Gastone’s anger if they embarrassed him further.

"No," Gastone replied and walked away. Each step he took was heavy as he wanted to turn back and eat the roasted meat.

"He must be hungry," Jorge whispered to Navin, who elbowed him again.

Navin hurried, grabbed his share of meat, and ran toward Gastone. "Here, take this," he stated and forcefully handed a stick containing the meat into Gastone’s hand before running away to avoid confrontation.

"I-I don’t want it..." Gastone muttered, but Navin ignored him and continued running. His eyes glanced at the meat, even though his pride told him to return it. He kept it instead.

Gastone went back inside his house and stared at the meat. He was about to take a bite when he remembered Lucia.

"She must be hungry. Ah! It’s unfair that I’ll cook when I hired her to cook for me," Gastone grumbled in dissatisfaction. He placed the meat on the plate and searched the cabinet for ingredients.

Gastone was beyond hungry and could eat a live deer, but he was concerned about his mate. He sucked it up and ate a banana instead while cutting the vegetables for added ingredients.

"Ugh, I really hate cooking," Gastone muttered, cutting the meat into pieces and shoving them all in the pot. He planned to make a stew to fill their empty bellies.

Since Gastone lived alone for long, he learned how to feed himself when he realized he needed to save money, but he hated doing it.

On the other hand, Lucia woke up from her sleep. The pain was no longer there, but it was uncomfortable to move. Her eyes glanced at her window and panicked when she discovered it was night.

"Oh no! I need to cook!" Lucia exclaimed and pushed herself to go down. She became nervous, thinking that Gastone might fire her after neglecting her duties. She had enough trauma and experience in the past to know the results.

As Lucia went to the kitchen, she saw Gastone stirring the pot. Her eyes widened in fear, but there was a slight attraction.

Gastone was wearing a thin shirt that hugged his figure. He wasn’t muscular like Draco, but his body was fit and healthy.

Lucia’s eyes stared at Gastone from top to bottom and saw his chunky buttocks that were round and plump.

"Are you hungry?" Gastone stated without turning back. He sensed Lucia’s scent, and he knew she was there for a few minutes.

"Ah... I’m sorry. I just woke up. I can continue the cooking," Lucia muttered and went closer. She immediately smelled the most delightful aroma.

"No need, it’s done," Gastone replied and took a bowl, pouring a decent amount before giving it to Lucia. "Let’s eat," he added after taking his portion.

"Umm... Thank you," Lucia stated, putting the bowl across Gastone on the table. She was amazed at how Gastone cooked so well, and she didn’t waste time before slurping a spoonful. "This is delicious!" she exclaimed.

Gastone shrugged the compliment. He didn’t acknowledge his cooking skills as he believed it was the woman’s role to feed their male partners and not the opposite.
