Alpha's Bite Between My Legs -
Chapter 404: The Orphan
Chapter 404: The Orphan
In the busy street of the human world lies hundreds of buildings, and one of the rooms was owned by Rosina.
"Ah~! Harder!" a female screamed while her body banged in the bed frame.
"Ugh!" Gastone groaned and pumped one more before pulling out. He sprayed his seeds on the woman’s belly and stood up from the bed. He grabbed his wallet, pulled out several pieces of paper money and threw them on the bed.
"Get out in 10 minutes," Gastone said sternly before hopping back in the shower. He had been paying women to have sex with him or use his looks to attract them.
Ever since Gastone lost his title as a Prince. His life turned upside down, and all his dreams were crushed to pieces with no route to return. Even though he was still a noble due to his mother’s status, he was still ashamed of her deeds.
After all, Gastone couldn’t believe his mother married the King but f^cked her own mate at the side. No matter how many reasons there were, it was still infidelity for him.
After showering, the woman was no longer there with the money Gastone paid. He sat in bed and looked at the moonlight, gazing through his window, and noticed a white envelope with the royal seal on the table.
"How did it get here?" Gastone frowned and took it. He didn’t comprehend but decided to read it anyway. He knew it was his punishment to be sent into the human world since his presence would increase the revolution in the realm, but he had no intention of getting his crown back.
Gastone cringed when he smelled Draco’s scent. He ripped the letter open and read what was inside. He thought it would be a long letter, but he was wrong.
’Dear Gastone,
My wife, Rosina, had given birth to a healthy son. The Mystic Pack, which was your mother’s alliance, were wiped out. Your mother is in jail.
Rosina wants you back in the Ethereal Realm and find your mate. A carriage will be waiting for you tomorrow around six a.m. Don’t be late! This is a royal order.
Sincerely,
Draco Violante’
"What kind of letter is this!?" Gastone was flabbergasted at how informal Draco’s letter was for him. At least he expected it to sound decent, but he felt like Draco was forced to write him instead.
"Haha! Mate... I don’t need her," Gastone shook his head and threw the letter away. He flopped on the bed and covered his eyes with his arms.
Gastone didn’t want to return to the Werewolf realm since he found solace in the human world. He disliked another problem to come his way and planned to ignore the letter and wouldn’t come back.
A light from the seal appeared, forming a hologram where Draco’s voice was recorded.
"Don’t even think of ignoring this letter, or I will send Knights to drag you back here," Draco stated sternly before his voice vanished in thin air.
Gastone blinked three times while staring at the letter. He was amazed and frightened at the same time. He sat up and forced himself to pack his stuff and other necessities.
"What’s on Rosina’s mind of taking me back there? Mate? At a time like this? She will be shamed of having me as her partner," Gastone complained and kept muttering words throughout the night and only got a two-hour sleep.
Gastone went to the open forest where the portal was located. He stared at the invisible barrier to the human eyes, but he could feel its presence.
"Ugh, why do I have to listen to them," Gastone mumbled in annoyance. It was still new to him that he followed orders instead of giving them. He was about to enter the hidden portal when he heard a faint noise.
"Huh? What is that?" Gastone frowned and became curious. His feet automatically went deeper into the forest while ignoring the portal. As he came closer, he smelled the most delicious scent in his entire life.
The scent was like a drug, which made Gastone addicted. His eyes shifted from black as his wolf tried resurfacing and taking over his body. His body shivered from excitement until he heard a muffled scream, which brought his attention back to reality.
Gastone hid on the tree and looked at what was happening. His eyes widened at the scene before him. His blood boiled, and his body moved on its own.
Two men held a girl down while tearing her clothes apart, revealing some skin.
"Haha! We got a good product this time!" the man exclaimed excitedly, pinning the girl’s hands above her head.
"Yes! We can sell her after—" The other man couldn’t continue his words when Gastone’s foot hit his head and threw his body a few meters away.
"What. Do. You. Think. You’re. Doing!?" Gastone’s voice was rough and stern from the anger burning inside him.
"Hoi! Mind your own business!" the man stood up and took a knife behind him. He went ahead and attacked Gastone, but he was quickly knocked off.
"Kyah!" the girl scrammed and hid in the tree. She cried while covering her ears to prevent hearing what was happening.
Gastone glanced at the two men and thought if he would kill them to avoid witnesses. He grabbed the nearest man and choked his neck when a hiccup distracted him. He threw the man away, making him unconscious when his head hit the tree.
"Where are you?" Gastone whispered and sniffed the air, locating the girl’s location. He glanced at the tree and saw the girl crying. He stood still and was troubled by what to do next.
"Hi..." Gastone whispered to not scare the girl, but he was ignored. He grabbed his handkerchief in his pocket and handed it to the girl.
"Don’t cry. You’re safe with me," Gastone stated, crouching down to match the girl’s height. He glanced over her body and noticed the tattered clothes; he didn’t hesitate to remove his jacket and put it over the girl’s shoulder.
"Ah!" the girl flinched and looked at Gastone with fear.
"I don’t intend to harm you. Here, have my handkerchief," Gastone raised both hands to appear harmless. He didn’t want to scare his mate.
The girl sniffed, slowly grabbed Gastone’s handkerchief, and blew her nose.
Gastone cringed but tried to give a small smile. "What are you doing here? Are you alone?" he asked in confusion.
Gastone thought the girl was a wolf that perhaps got lost in the forest and accidentally entered the portal. He wanted to tell her she was his mate, but it wasn’t the right time.
The girl hiccuped while trying to stop herself from crying. "I... ran away," she whispered, and her voice was barely audible.
"Ah...." Gastone didn’t know what to say. He wanted to comfort his mate, but his mind remained blank since he didn’t expect to meet her immediately. "What’s your name?" he added.
The girl froze and looked at Gastone with fear. "Please, don’t take me back there. I don’t want to become their toy! Wahh!" she cried out and begged Gastone.
"Okay... okay. I just want to know what to call you," Gastone couldn’t understand and sniffed her scent further. He could smell her aroma, but the spark wasn’t there.
"L-lucia... I’m Lucia... Mister, please save me!" Lucia exclaimed and held Gastone’s hand, begging him to save her.
Gastone glanced at the arm Lucia was holding, and he didn’t feel anything. There was no spark or a tingling between them. In short, they were mates but had no connection.
"What’s the meaning of this?" Gastone muttered his thoughts out loud.
"Mister, I’m an orphan from the orphanage nearby. They feed us, but when we grew up, they sold us to a businessman with a shady business!" Lucia yelled with tears streaming down her face.
"And you... manage to run away," Gastone asked as Lucia nodded. "Oh my goddess... You’re a human... This can’t be right," he added and staggered backwards.
"Mister, I don’t know what you’re saying, but I-I will pay you. Please don’t take me back," Lucia wiped her tears and handed Gastone a wallet that contained the savings she earned.
Gastone remained silent while staring at Lucia in disbelief. He turned his back, and his brain was in total chaos. He was late to the appointed time to return to the Werewolf realm and didn’t know what to do with his human mate. He couldn’t leave her alone after what had happened.
"Mister..." Lucia whispered while waiting for Gastone’s reply.
"I’m not from here," Gastone stated and glanced back at Lucia’s confused face.
"Does that mean... You won’t take me back to the orphanage?" Lucia asked while tilting her head to the side.
Gastone turned his back again to think deeply. ’If I left her here, she might get caught again... But I can’t bring her into the Werewolf realm with all this chaos, and she’s human,’ he thought and smacked his forehead.
"I won’t take you back, but do you have a place to stay?" Gastone asked. He remembered the room he was staying in and planned to lend it to Lucia in the meantime.
"No," Lucia shook her head. She stared at Gastone and observed him. Somehow, she didn’t feel he was a bad guy. "Can... I go with you instead?" she asked with a hopeful glint in her eyes.
