Chapter 372: The Headless

Vinicio sighed in disappointment. He always wanted to hide his identity, but now, it was revealed. Although, it made him question how Vanda knew about it.

"A-and you think we’re scared?" Abramo shouted and try to act mighty in front of the pack members.

It was evident that the Midnight Pack knights became hesitant to stand against Vinicio since the Moonstone Pack was higher than them.

"Lady Vanda, you don’t need to go that far," Vinicio muttered while shaking his head in disapproval.

"I’m just telling them the truth," Vanda pouted and shrugged.

"Hah! A higher noble, but becomes a knight to a noblewoman below rank!" Abramo stated in an attempt to insult Vinicio, but the pack members didn’t respond and looked at one another silently.

"Hmm, stubborn old man," Vanda whispered while looking away. She thought everything would be settled, but that was not the case.

"What did you say? Who do you think you are? Another noble that becomes that little girl’s underling?" Abramo insulted and laughed at his own words. It made the Midnight Pack knights awkward, but they laughed to please Abramo.

"Eh!" Vanda crossed her arms in displease, but before she could react, Vinicio stepped forward to calm the situation. He didn’t want to cause additional problems for Felissa if the situation escalated further.

"Don’t you forget that I am still the Beta since that little girl is still new to the position and I demand respect from everyone!" Abramo yelled and pointed at the knights.

Vinicio frowned since that was not how it works. If a new leader would set foot, the positions in the pack would change.

"It’s Luna Felissa Nucci," Vinicio stated sternly, his eyes not leaving Abramo. He tried to brush off how Abramo called Felissa a little girl one time since it might have been a mistake, but hearing it for the second time made his blood boil.

"What?!" Abramo shouted while scorning.

"The she-wolf you’re referring to is not a little girl. She is a noble and a Luna to this pack. You should be the one that needs to learn basic respect for those higher than you," Vinicio stated without pause and made sure his words were clear and bold for everyone to understand.

But that only made Abramo angrier than usual.

"Hah! Do you think she will do better? She’s just a little puppet that thinks she got the world around her hands!" Abramo screamed. Several pack members agreed while the others remained silent.

"Hey, I don’t like how you spoke so little of Lady Felissa," Vanda spoke and stepped forward. She had decided to let Vinicio handle it, but she couldn’t stay still after hearing all the mockery and insults being thrown at Felissa.

"Lady Vanda, please—" Vinicio tried to stop Vanda, but he halted after a single glare from her.

Vanda’s aura changed into something they couldn’t understand, but it was enough to make their skin crawl.

"Oh please! Don’t start with another nonsense!" Abramo rolled his eyes as if he was tired of Vanda.

"You asked who am I, right? Then perhaps I should answer you," Vanda stated with a smile and took two steps forward. Several knights closer to her stepped back since the wolves inside them were yelping and wanted to run away.

"Sure! Show us your rank!" Abramo shouted and flung his arms toward the pack members to get their attention. "Everyone! Listen to this woman. Let’s hear how mighty she is and—"

Everyone gasped in shock and screams echoed in the air. The Midnight Pack knights were frozen in their spot, and when they turned around. They saw Abramo’s body trembling with blood coming out of his mouth.

Behind Abramo was Vanda standing in a ladylike manner. She turned around with her brightest smile as Abramo’s head fell to the ground, followed by his body.

"I am just a noble she-wolf under Her Majesty, the Queen. That’s all I have to share, tehee," Vanda stated cheerfully and put a cute face in the end while everyone was shocked at what she did.

"W-what did you do to our Beta!?" a knight shouted.

"I didn’t do anything. Did you see me attack him? Do you see any blood in me?" Vanda asked those questions innocently. She spread her arms and circled around for them to see she was clean.

Everyone couldn’t answer since Abramo was killed in a blink of an eye and they didn’t see any attack from Vanda.

"Eh, but why is he headless? It’s a pity he didn’t know who I am before he died! Wah!" Vanda faked a crying expression. She looked around and noticed everyone was not laughing at her words.

"But he looks like a cockroach. I hate cockroaches! Kyah!" Vanda yelped and wiggle both her arms in front. She lifted her skirt, skipping over Abramo’s body before going back to the pack house.

The silence was too strong as they all looked at Vanda happily strolling back to the pack house. Both sides looked at one another since they needed to settle another problem.

"Umm," Vinicio didn’t know what to say and he didn’t want to apologize knowing Abramo escalated the situation for his pride.

"Sir... I mean... Lord, we will take care of Sir Abramo’s body. Please have a rest in the pack house," a knight stepped forward and bowed his upper body in 90 degrees.

"Thank you," Vinicio replied and gestured his men to go into the pack house and start working on unpacking Felissa’s luggage and their stuff during their stay.

"That Lady is under Her Majesty and she looks very powerful. Do you think we will be under Sabrecrown soon?"

"She’s under that Queen. That means she’s evil, right?"

"Have you seen her moves? I think she teleported in that position!"

"If Lady Vanda is here with Luna Felissa. Does that mean our current plans will be halted? Luna Felissa is heavily protected..."

Murmurs and gossip flowed into the air and reached Vinicio’s ears. He was fine until he heard the last one. He looked back and saw a group of she-wolves whispering.

When the she-wolves saw Vinicio staring at them. They immediately walk away as if their plan was not exposed.
