Chapter 370: The Real Problem

It was the day that Felissa would be leaving Sabrecrown. The carriages were ready and all her belongings were placed.

"Are you well?" Rosina asked as she walked down the stairs to meet Felissa.

"Y-yes," Felissa replied awkwardly. She nodded her head, followed by a deep sigh.

Vicenzo was nowhere to be seen, but Gemma was there with a box in hand. She approached them and curtsied.

"Hello, Your Majesty, Lady Felissa, I want to give you this," Gemma stated and handed Felissa the box, which was quite heavy.

"Thank you, what are these?" Felissa asked in confusion. She shook the box and heard something inside.

"Ah, I baked several cookies for you to snack along the way," Gemma explained and giggle.

"Oh, umm, thank you," Felissa replied awkwardly. She knew Gemma was trying to get close to her, but she was still not ready yet.

"And Your Majesty, this is for you," Gemma turned to Rosina and handed her a smaller box.

"Thank you, Miss Gemma. I hope you are living well in this pack," Rosina smiled and opened the box. She raised her eyebrow in satisfaction upon seeing milk cookies, her favorite.

"Yes, I love it here," Gemma replied before curtsying and stepping to the side. She wanted to see Felissa go and say goodbye to her. Although it was a bit shameful that Vicenzo decided to go somewhere instead of seeing his mate.

Felissa looked around and noticed Idola was nowhere to be found. She didn’t see her servant for days to weeks. She had thought that Idola was working on Palace chores as the reason for her disappearance.

"Your servant, Idola has quit as your personal servant. You should find someone new or I can get you one," Rosina explained upon noticing Felissa’s gaze.

"Huh? Why? Did she tell the reason for leaving?" Felissa asked with a frown. Her feelings were hurt that Idola didn’t inform her about anything.

"Miss Idola is still an Omega, but she will be working in the Palace. For now, she is enjoying her vacation," Rosina informed and put her hands on Felissa’s shoulder. "Now, you should go," she added.

"Alright, I will find a servant in the Midnight pack when I arrived," Felissa replied and hugged Rosina. She felt that she finally hold the flow of her life without depending on someone else.

"Yes, but I will have someone to accompany you," Rosina stated and pointed toward the carriage where Felissa would ride.

"Hello!" a high-pitched voice shouted.

Felissa turned around and was shocked to see Vanda waving at her with a big smile on her face.

"Have a good time," Rosina waved goodbye.

"Goodbye, I will send a letter soon," Felissa stated with enthusiasm before going to the carriage. She waved goodbye to Rosina and Gemma as the door closed.

Rosina glared at Vanda with a hint of warning. A day before Felissa’s departure, Vanda appeared out of nowhere and begged Rosina to tag her along. At first, Rosina didn’t approve of it since Vanda had caused great distress to her, but Vanda stated that everything would be fine and she would help Felissa manage the Midnight Pack indirectly. With that, Rosina approved for her to come.

As the carriage went away, Rosina went beside Gemma while eating the milk cookies.

"Would you like to tell me where’s Sir Vicenzo?" Rosina whispered, which made Gemma jump in surprise.

"Ah, Your Majesty, my son went alone this morning and he hasn’t come back yet," Gemma replied with worry in her voice.

"Did he say something before that happened?" Rosina asked further to squeeze all the information from Gemma.

"Umm, Vicenzo told me that I should do whatever I want since he won’t be home most of the time. I assume it’s because of his job. I just knew he works as a Palace knight recently," Gemma muttered while scratching her chin. She was thinking about the conversation they had last time.

"Hmm, thank you for that. Now, I shall excuse myself," Rosina smiled before leaving and went back inside the Palace.

"Yes, Your Majesty," Gemma curtsied and waited until Rosina was out of sight. She breathed deeply and showed concern. She didn’t want Vicenzo and Felissa to fight for a long time and wanted to help them, but nothing seemed to be working.

At the same time, Felissa and Vanda stared at one another inside the carriage.

"How are you, Lady Felissa? Ah! Should I call you Luna?" Vanda gasped and put both hands into her cheeks. She acted surprised and shy at the same time.

"Uhh, you can call me Lady perhaps," Felissa replied awkwardly. She had faint memories of meeting Vanda, which made her awkward, but on the other hand, Felicia was growling at Vanda.

"I see. Then, can I ask you something, My Lady?" Vanda smiled and leaned back.

"What is it?" Felissa agreed. Her grip on the box tightened as she anticipated Vanda’s question.

"Hmm, I’m wondering where Felicia went. Is she dead?" Vanda whispered and blinked her eyes cutely.

"I AM HERE!" Felicia voiced out using Felissa’s mouth. Her voice changed into a deep tone, unlike Felissa’s high-pitched voice.

"Ah! How amazing! Nice to meet you again, Felicia," Vanda exclaimed in delight and clapped her hands together.

"You... Who are you?" Felicia asked while gritting her teeth.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Vanda asked innocently. She tilted her head to the side and enjoyed the conversation.

"You told me about... about... huh? What is it again?" Felicia was dumbfounded. She felt the urge to say something, but her brain remained blank. She didn’t know what she was referring to, but the feeling of saying a particular word was still at the tip of her tongue.

"Hmm? What is it?" Vanda asked further. She leaned close while staring directly at Felissa’s eyes.

Felicia shook her head. She remembered talking to Vanda, but the conversation was different than what she perceived. Her rage inside was replaced by doubt and confusion.

"I see what’s going on. Ah! She should do something about this," Vanda muttered with a chuckle. She was referring to Rosina since when she erased several parts of Felissa’s memory, it made Felicia combine with Felissa.

"What do you mean? Aside from that, how did you know I’m here?" Felicia asked since nobody knew about her existence inside Felissa’s body.

"Ah, did you forget we met before?" Vanda pouted. She dislike that Felicia acted as if they hadn’t met a few weeks ago.

"I do remember, but—" before Felicia could continue, Felissa spoke.

"How did you know that both of us exist in one body? Do you know why this happened?" Felissa asked and leaned closer to Vanda. She was eager to know if Vanda could give her the information she needed to separate Felicia from her.

"I mean, it’s obvious," Vanda shrugged and looked away. She didn’t want to spoil the fun, but she could read that Felissa dislike having Felicia in control parts of her body and emotions.

Felissa’s face dropped in disappointment. She sighed before looking outside the window to distract herself.

"Hmm, I may not know a lot, but I’m sure Felicia is a personality born due to a traumatic event. You may not remember it well, Felissa, but that’s how it is," Vanda explained and gave a hint, hoping it would give Felissa some answers to her questions.

"A personality? What do you mean?" Felissa’s interest peaked since Vanda made sense.

"Before, do you feel as if there are two different people living or talking in your head and sometimes you feel as if you’re possessed?" Vanda asked and held Felissa’s hand to give her a bit of comfort.

Felissa wasn’t able to answer right away. She thought about the times when her brain switched off as if she was sleeping and by the time she woke up, she had done things that she couldn’t remember doing.

"Y-yes," Felissa replied with a frown.

"That was Felicia, right?" Vanda asked further as Felissa nodded her head.

"Have you met someone like this before?" Felissa asked and grasped Vanda’s hand. She looked at her with the hope that she could find a cure.

"Can’t say, but have Felicia done something wrong?" Vanda asked since she knew that Felissa was timid, weak and frightened most of the time, while Felicia was the total opposite.

Felissa pursed her lips and removed her hand from Vanda. She knew that all Felicia did was to help her, but currently, Felicia was taking a stance against Vicenzo and she didn’t like it.

"I want to get married and have children with Vicenzo, my mate. I want to start a family with him in the Midnight Pack and enjoy our lives till we die, but Felicia seems to be against that thought," Felissa explained and immediately Felicia came to her defence.

"Sir Vicenzo killed us! He put his sword into our body!" Felicia shouted with rage.

"Because you’re a beast! He is my mate and you’re in my way! I don’t want you to stop me from marrying my mate with you’re st^pid memories. It’s your fault he tried to kill you!" Felissa screamed while putting both her hands in her ears to stop listening to what Felicia was about to say.

At that moment, Vanda realized the real problem.
