"P-paku... you slapped me!?" Piku was stunned that her twin, who never harmed her and always supported the decision she had in life, dared to physically hurt her. That alone was a blow to the ego.

"As your sister, I won’t allow you to do such things, Piku. Wake up and stop daydreaming. We have work to do," Paku stated nonchalantly before leaving and returning to the Palace to meet with the head Omega.

"You’re my sister! You should support me!" Piku yelled with rage. She felt betrayed by the only person she thought she could trust.

"Yes, I will support you if you behave like a normal she-wolf. Being a mistress and hurting another woman is wrong. Imagine if you were in Lady Felissa’s shoes and another woman tried to steal your mate. What will you do?" Paku shouted. She became irritated by Piku’s persistence.

"B-but... I’m not in her spot!" Piku replied with fury. She didn’t care if she hurt Felissa since she didn’t know her. All she wanted to think about was her future.

"Piku... I don’t know why you are that selfish," Paku whispered. She felt her energy was drained by their argument.

"It’s not selfish if you think of a better future," Piku gritted her teeth. She hated that she was seen as a nasty person.

Paku pursed her lips. She felt defeated since no matter how much she reasoned to stop Piku from ruining Vicenzo and Felissa’s life, her sister was not listening. She turned her back and proceeded to walk away.

"Oi! Where are you going?" Piku called out. She sniffed her runny nose and composed herself.

"To the Palace Head Omega. I want to work here," Paku stated nonchalantly and breathed the fresh air.

"Hah! Are you going to become a servant again? Aren’t you tired of that lifestyle?" Piku asked dumbfoundedly.

"A servant isn’t that bad. At least I am doing clean work to survive," Paku replied and sighed. She slowly accepted that her twin took a different path in life, and she couldn’t do anything. Most of all, she was hurt by how much she sacrificed for Piku, and she turned out that way.

"Fine! If you want to grow old and die as an Omega, so be it! Don’t be jealous if I become noble and rich!" Piku shouted with all her strength. She went the other way to become part of the ordinary citizen of Sabrecrown. That way, she would have more freedom to do what she wanted.

Paku shut her eyes tightly as both of them went into separate ways.

"As long as you’re alive. I guess that’s enough for me," Paku whispered. A small smile appeared on her lips as she walked forward. It was the first time in their lives that they would live without each other.

Paku always adjusts for Piku in every situation and prioritizes her needs. She was fine with it as long as Piku was happy, but for the first time, she took the initiative to leave and chose what she wanted to do without adjusting for her twin, making her taste the freedom she wanted.

"Ah, this is what it feels like to finally live!" Paku exclaimed with tears of happiness pouring down her cheeks.

And once Paku tasted what it felt to be her own person without Piku. She didn’t want to go back to what she used to. Although, her heart still ached that she would be separated from Piku.

"I should meet with the Head Omega. I hope they’re sociable," Paku muttered nervously. Her experience with Mystic Pack Head Omega was challenging and didn’t care about the omegas working in the pack house.

Paku head to the Palace and asked the knights on standby where the Head Omega was located. She was instructed to go into the greenhouse. Her heart was beating loudly as she got closer.

The greenhouse was located behind the Palace, which was surrounded by trees. The area was vast, with the plantation that supplied the Palace with ingredients.

"Woah!" Paku exclaimed in amazement. It was her first time going to that site, and she wanted to work there due to the ambiance.

Paku approached the greenhouse door and knocked, but no one answered. She opened the door slightly and heard voices.

"Someone is here," Paku muttered and went inside without a thought, but she almost froze to death when she saw who was there.

Rosina was talking to Lian Dellucci, who was the Head of Omega.

Paku panicked and didn’t know what to do. It was her first time seeing Rosina, and she adored her so much because she was strong. In the end, she decided to leave to avoid the Queen.

"Who is it?" Rosina said and glanced at Paku’s back, who was about to leave.

"Y-Your Ma-majesty! I’m about to leave," Paku whispered. She bowed at 90 degrees and avoided any eye contact.

"Who is that?" Rosina asked since she didn’t see Paku personally before.

"Ah, that is Paku. One of the twins that Sir Vicenzo Luro saved from the Mystic pack," Lian stated and approached Paku.

"Hello, I am Paku!" Paku’s voice rose as she introduced herself.

"Hmm, I see," Rosina hummed, staring at Paku’s form with a furrowed eyebrow.

"Paku, nice to meet you. Sir Luro told me to expect a visit from you, but where is your sister?" Lian asked in confusion upon noticing that Paku was alone.

"Piku... she wanted to become a citizen..." Paku muttered while biting her lips to stop herself from crying.

"I see, and you want to work here in the Palace as an Omega?" Lian asked to make sure.

"Yes," Paku replied timidly.

"I see, then welcome!" Lian exclaimed cheerfully. She held Paku’s hands and shook them.

"You have another responsibility," Rosina stated and giggled.

"I don’t mind. After all, we need more servants to tend to the growing pack," Lian replied, pulling Paku beside her. "This is Her Majesty, Queen Rosina Violante," she introduced with a smile.

"H-hello, Your Majesty!" Paku greeted with eagerness even though she was shaking. It was rare for a low Omega to talk to a noble if they were not their personal servant, but she was able to meet and chat with the Queen, second to the highest rank in the Werewolf realm.

"Hello, Paku. I hope you can be trusted enough to stay here in the Palace," Rosina stated sternly to show a bit of dominance to the newcomer.

"Y-yes, I will offer my loyalty to the Monarch!" Paku replied and felt the overwhelming presence of the Queen.

"That’s good. Work well in your job," Rosina smiled and patted Paku’s head before she left.

Paku was frozen by the unexpected soft gesture from the Queen.

"You’re one lucky wolf," Lian giggled.

"The Queen just patted me... on the head," Paku stared at Lian in disbelief. She thought it was her imagination.

"Yes, and seems like she adores you. Perhaps you should work under Miss Fina; she’s the Queen’s personal servant," Lian stated, pulling out a list from her pocket.

Paku was overwhelmed with warmth. She was delighted that the head of Omega was soft and likeable, unlike the one in Mystic pack. She wanted to work in the greenhouse, but considering Lian’s offer, she was okay with laboring under the Queen.
