Chapter 352: The Fresh Blood

Felicia glanced back at Paku as she talked to the two knights. "Be careful, Paku," she whispered, continuously running to the unguarded dungeon. When she arrived, she went to the door and noticed it was locked.

"Sh^t," Felicia cursed and tried to kick the door open, but it wouldn’t bulge. She gritted her teeth and began playing with the locks with her pins, but after a minute, it was useless.

"Tsk," Felicia frowned and breathed deeply to calm herself. A minute was already too long if she wanted to avoid getting caught.

"I need to find another solution," Felicia whispered, glancing at the necklace. She could use the item, but she didn’t know what the inside of the dungeon looked like.

In desperation, Felicia heightened her sense of smell and placed her nose at the lock. She inhaled deeply to find Piku’s scent; at the same time, she wished that Piku was still inside to make things easier, but luck was not on her side.

"I can’t smell Piku here," Felicia stated in realization. She furrowed her eyebrow before she ran inside the pack house, but before she could open the door, the rounding knights passed by.

Felicia ran to the opposite corner and didn’t waste time to bit her finger. She put blood into the pendant and imagined the hallway that led to Cinzia’s room. She immediately teleported into the place and was lucky enough that nobody was around.

’Piku,’ Felicia thought and silently walked closer to the door. She wanted to know if Cinzia was inside. She pressed her ears in the room to hear any movement, but there was none. She immediately used the pendant’s power and teleported inside Cinzia’s room.

Felicia’s heartbeat was too loud due to fear and nervousness. She stood by the door and looked around, but the room was empty. Although, she could smell Cinzia’s faint smell. She tiptoed and went to the bathroom and closet to ensure Cinzia was not there.

’Piku, please be alive,’ Felicia thought as her eyes went straight to the white tile under the cabinet. She bent down, smelled the floor and was immediately hit by a metallic scent of fresh blood.

Adrenaline rushed over Felicia as her trembling hands tapped on the tile. She was trying to find a way to open any secret door that could lead to Piku.

"Please be well," Felicia whispered while silently praying to the Moon Goddess. She continued tapping on the tile but was unsuccessful. That frustrated her; the thought it would be too late was eating her alive.

Felicia bit her lips to stay calm and focused. She began tapping on the tiles again when her hand hit the cabinet surface.

"Ouch!" Felicia exclaimed and retreated while holding her hand. By doing so, her buttocks sat on the tile behind her. She felt movement and saw the tile pushed down and the cabinet door unlocked.

Without hesitation, Felicia opened the door and saw a flight of stairs going down. She gulped and pulled the robe closer to her body as she descended.

Felicia didn’t know what to expect if she reached the bottom or what she would do if she faced Cinzia.

’Cinzia is an enemy,’ Felicia thought since she didn’t want to be intimidated by their rank. She ensured her steps wouldn’t echo in the damp tiny space.

A metal door was before her when she reached the stairs’ end.

Felicia walked close, and the metallic smell hit her nose hard, followed by a scream. The sound was faint and light.

"AHHH! HELP!"

Felicia’s eyes widened since the voice was similar to Piku’s. She was about to grab the knob when she heard a series of laughter.

"Scream all you want. Nobody will hear you from here."

’Cinzia!’ Felicia thought as her hands trembled. She knew that once she opened that door, Cinzia and Piku would be there, but the problem was how she would save Piku.

’Move your hand!’ Felicia thought, but her body was not following her. Even though she knew she could do it, she couldn’t see herself getting involved with Cinzia, which had a higher position than her.

In the Werewolf realm, everyone acted by rank and how their roles differed in life.

Even though Cinzia was no longer the current Queen. Her title as the previous Queen was still relevant, and Felicia was only a noble from a lower pack rank.

Felicia fisted her hand and took a deep breath before gathering her strength. She kicked the door open and revealed Cinzia in the bathtub naked while Piku knelt with her head leaning inside the tub, exposing her neck. Two female servants held Piku, and one carried a huge knife.

"Oh, we have another guest!" Cinzia exclaimed in surprise and sniffed the air. She didn’t smell any scent and confirmed it was Felicia. "Ah! The ugly one," she added, rolling her eyes.

Cinzia snapped her finger, and one of the servants went close to Felicia. She swung her knife to inflict damage.

"I’m amazed that you found this place, Felicia, but I won’t give you my prey," Cinzia explained with a bored tone. She leaned her head back since she didn’t think Felicia could do anything.

The two servants with Cinzia were not average omega. They were trained knights that were placed in her care.

"Why are you doing this? Leave Piku alone!" Felicia shouted as she dodged the servant’s attack.

"Felicia!!!" Piku screamed and was hit in the head by the servant at her side, which made her unconscious.

"Omega’s don’t really understand, huh," Cinzia sighed and gestured to her servant to stop attacking Felicia. She rose from the bathtub and looked at Felicia from head to toe. She didn’t care if they saw her naked body since she was proud of it.

"You see, Felicia. I need to stay young when I claim my throne again, and in order to do that, I need the fresh blood of a young, beautiful maiden for nourishment," Cinzia explained with a smirk on her face.
