Chapter 336: The Trap

Felicia walked through the hallway with a new extension of her goal. She got a bit of trust from Vanda’s words and somehow thought it would be an opportunity to make her plan a bit easier.

"But where do I start? I haven’t asked Lady Vanda where to begin searching for it!" Felicia mumbled in annoyance.

Vanda had vanished from Felicia’s sight seconds after she looked away, which made her creep out.

Felicia stopped walking and turned the other way to where the library was located. She wanted any information regarding the pendant that could create an underground portal to any place.

The knights in position looked at Felicia in shock with their mouths hanging, but they didn’t say a thing and diverted their eyes away to prevent any confrontation or awkwardness from the noble.

Felicia rolled her eyes and entered the library. She stopped in her tracks when she saw Vicenzo walking behind Rosina; they were leaving the library.

"Felissa, how delightful to see you!" Rosina exclaimed since she had just finished talking to Vicenzo about staying in the Sabrecrown safest place for a start. Her eyebrows rose in amusement when she saw what her friend was wearing.

"Y-your Majesty!" Felicia muttered with wide eyes as she curtsied. She didn’t expect to see them in the library since they would be in the office if they talked.

"Felissa, you’re here and... uhh," Vicenzo pursed his lips in disapproval, but his eyes showed lust when he saw his mate’s figure.

The silence between the three of them was so loud and uncomfortable.

Rosina squinted her eyes since she felt that she was looking at a stranger with the same face as Felissa, and the aura she radiated was much stronger compared to before.

Felicia smiled confidently and fluttered her lashes. "I came here to find you, my sweety. I miss you," she stated and went beside Vicenzo, grabbing his arms, which made contact with her chest.

Vicenzo furrowed his eyebrows since Felissa never had acted that provocatively with him. "Her Majesty and I talked, and she agreed to let us stay in the Sabrecrown’s safer place or go to the Palecrest pack temporarily," he stated excitedly.

Felicia flickered her eyes since Vicenzo’s plan was already set and would be against her goal. She removed her hand from him and looked straight into Rosina’s eyes.

"Your Majesty, I would like to propose a plan in mind," Felicia stated and side-eyes Vicenzo’s reaction before continuing.

"What is it?" Rosina asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I would like to live alone for a few weeks," Felicia stated nonchalantly, shocking everyone, especially Vicenzo.

"What? I thought we’ll going to live our lives together!" Vicenzo exclaimed and couldn’t believe the words his mate was spouting.

"Tell me the reason why?" Rosina crossed her arms since she disliked the idea but was intrigued at the same time.

"You see, Your Majesty. After a long thought about this upgrade in my life. I realize that I’m not ready... yet," Felicia stated with a tight smile, but it was only a facade. She needed the plan to be left alone and do her business.

"What do you mean by that!?" Vicenzo asked with anger in his voice. He was trying to subdue his raging wolf since they felt their mate had indirectly abandoned them.

Felicia closed her eyes for a few seconds to gather her thoughts and faced Vicenzo with a fake smile. "You don’t want to marry me, remember?" she stated sarcastically.

Vicenzo was speechless since he thought rejecting his mate’s proposal with a valid reason was enough to drop the topic of marriage. "We talked about this," he stated.

"Yeah, so?" Felicia muttered and rolled her eyes. She turned her attention back to Rosina to continue their conversation. "What do you think about it, Your Majesty?" she asked.

"If you desire to live alone. Then, I will allow you, but I want you to stay in a safe place, not very far from here," Rosina stated with a deep sigh. She didn’t want to agree to Felissa’s decision, but something inside told her to let Felissa do what she wanted.

"No, I won’t allow this to happen. There’s danger lurking in the dark, and if I’m not there by your side, you might be harmed by our enemies," Vicenzo argued since he was concerned for his mate’s well-being.

"You don’t need to," Felicia replied with a hint of annoyance. Even though they were mates, Felicia didn’t have the same attachment to Vicenzo, unlike Felissa.

"Well, this is a change. I will see what I can do, but in the meantime, you two should talk about this decision," Rosina stated before turning her back and walking away, but before she was entirely out of the door, Felicia caught something with her eyes.

"Your Majesty," Felicia called out, which made Rosina turn to her.

Felicia saw a beautiful dark-coloured pendant hanging around Rosina’s neck, covered by layers of jewels and fabric. She breathed deeply and felt like she had found it; she wasn’t even surprised if Rosina was the owner of the key.

"Is there something wrong?" Rosina asked politely.

"Nothing, Your Majesty. I just adore your jewels," Felicia stated before courtesying, indicating that their conversation was over.

"Thank you," Rosina replied before leaving in confusion since the compliment was out of nowhere and somehow, her gut feeling got uncomfortable with Felicia.

"Felissa, we need to talk," Vicenzo stated and grabbed Felicia’s arm, dragging her to one of the private rooms in the Palace Library.

Felicia creased her eyebrows since she disliked the name she had been called, but she didn’t say anything. She waited until Vicenzo spoke.

"What’s the matter, Felissa? Did I do something wrong?" Vicenzo asked in desperation. He felt an invisible gap between them but didn’t know what it was.

Felicia tried her best to act like Felissa, but Vicenzo was getting on her nerves. She didn’t want to explain herself and was tired of making excuses.

"If I suck your d1ck, will you stop questioning me with what I want to do?" Felicia stated sarcastically and crossed her arms under her chest, which made her breasts pop out, luring Vicenzo to her trap.
