Chapter 335: The Name of a Lady

Felissa cracked her neck from side to side and stretched her body.

"Ah! It’s been a while," Felissa stated with a grin. She smiled widely and went to the mirror to see her reflection. "Oh, my dear, I’m so hot!" she exclaimed.

Felissa began to examine her clothes, and it was not her liking. She went to the dresser and searched for a wardrobe that fitted her taste, but no matter how much she dug through the pile of clothes. She couldn’t find something she liked.

"She really has bad taste in clothes," Felissa stated while flicking her tongue in distaste. She picked a black-colored gown stored at the bottom, which seemed to be unused. The gown had a very old-fashioned design where each part of the skin was covered.

Felissa looked at the gown for a couple of seconds before she went to the cabinet and grabbed a pair of scissors. She proceeded to lay the gown on the bed and started cutting the edges of her desire.

It took Felissa fifteen minutes before she finished renovating the gown, and it turned brand-new.

"Now, it’s perfect!" Felissa exclaimed in delight and hurriedly undressed, putting on the gown that barely covered her skin. It was too daring and sexy, the complete opposite of what Felissa used to wear.

Felissa grinned as she looked at herself in the mirror, put a bright red lipstick on her lips, and removed the braids on her hair, letting the soft curls bounce on her back. When she was satisfied with her appearance, she went outside the room. Her goal was to get information about the map of the Ethereal Werewolf realm and know any secret paths.

"Should I go to the library or ask someone who knows more about this realm?" Felissa asked herself, but not a minute before she gave up thinking. She went outside the room, and several servants were cleaning the hallway. Their eyes widened in shock upon seeing Felissa’s different attire.

Felissa ignored them and continued to walk. She planned to talk to Silvio, Rosina’s personal guard since he had been through the packs when he was a rogue before. She was about to turn into the corner when something caught her eye.

A figure was waving at her from outside the Palace.

Felissa went toward the window and saw a familiar lady. "Lady Vanda," she whispered with squinted eyes.

Vanda grinned and gestured for Felissa to come down to her as she walked toward the forest connected to the Palace.

"What does she want from me?" Felissa muttered in curiosity, but she ended up going downstairs to where she had seen Vanda.

The servants side-eyed Felissa when she walked passed them, but she paid no mind.

The sun shone brightly in the sky, which made Felissa squint her eyes. She hated the sunlight burning her pupils. She went to the shade and breathed the fresh air when she felt someone grab her hand and pulled her away.

"Lady Vanda!" Felissa exclaimed after yanking herself and saw who it was.

"Hello," Vanda grinned and ran to the deeper part of the forest.

Felissa was baffled, but she followed Vanda without hesitation. When she approached Vanda, she saw her squatting on the ground with her back facing Felissa.

"What are you doing here, Lady Vanda," Felissa asked and stayed quite a distance since she felt something unusual.

"Come, take a look at this," Vanda whispered, and waved her hand at Felissa, gesturing her to come forward.

With defence, Felissa stepped in and saw a vast hole in the ground. "What is that?" she asked in amazement. She looked ahead and saw the darkness inside the hole.

"They say it’s a portal activated by a key," Vanda explained. Then the ground shook, and the hole closed as if nothing had happened.

"What is happening!?" Felissa exclaimed and rubbed her eyes to secure that she was seeing correctly.

"I just told you a little secret," Vanda whispered with a pout since Felissa was not amazed by it.

"Your little secret is lame and useless," Felissa shrugged and paid no attention. Even though it was an uncommon thing to happen. She decided not to dwell deeper since she had a more important job to do. She was about to leave when Vanda said something that caught her attention.

"They say it’s a portal that leads to whatever place you want," Vanda stated with a knowing smile.

"What do you mean by that?" Felissa turned around and crossed her arms under her chest.

"I heard a certain necklace with a dark pendant is the key to unlocking this magnificent power, and only a drop of blood as payment per request," Vanda explained while acting as if she was thinking deeply.

Felissa pursed her lips since she doubted the story’s validity. "I don’t have time for this nonsense," she stated before turning her back to leave.

"Before we part ways, I would like to know your name," Vanda stated as she stood up and faced Felissa with an innocent smile.

"You know who I am," Felissa stated with a furrowed eyebrow.

"Yes, I know who’s Lady Felissa, but I want to know your name," Vanda grinned with her eyes squinted with excitement.

Felissa’s eyes widened in surprise. Nobody had ever asked her that kind of question, and it was enough for her to get suspicious of Vanda, but amused at the same time.

"Is it terrible to ask your name, Lady?" Vanda grinned wider as she took a step forward, teasing Felissa even more. "I believe it’s our first meeting," she added.

Felissa raised an eyebrow and extended her right arm toward Vanda. "Then I should introduce myself to you. I’m Felicia," she replied.

"Nice to meet you, Lady Felicia. I consider we will be good friends," Vanda stated and shook hands with Felicia.

Both ladies eyed one another with unspoken questions and words inside their heads, but no one dared to speak them out. The silence was enough for them.

Felicia now understood that Vanda was not a normal wolf and thought about the hole she spoke about. That made Felicia intrigued about who was the holder of the pendant since that item might be the key to accomplishing her goal.
