Chapter 328: The Family Jewels

Felissa and Vicenzo had arrived in the Sabrecrown and went straight into the Palace.

Currently, Felissa was waiting outside Rosina’s office to talk to her about what had happened with her family while Vicenzo went to the knight’s station.

"Ah! What should I do now!?" Felissa stated while biting her fingers. She was agitated, and her anxiety was piling up.

Little did Felissa know Rosina was standing behind her for a few seconds, but she didn’t notice.

"Ugh, I can’t believe I’ve been rejected!" Felissa was exasperated and bonked her own head due to her humiliation.

"Why? What did you do?" Rosina in a whisper since she got interested in the topic.

"Kyah! You scared me!" Felissa screamed and put a hand into her chest while trying to calm her beating heart.

"Haha! You look funny, Felissa. Now, tell me, what’s the matter?" Rosina stated before opening the office door.

Felissa looked at the side and noticed that Rosina was alone. It was unusual for a wolf with a high ranking to be alone, especially since Rosina’s life was always in danger.

Rosina sat on the sofa and leaned back comfortably, waiting for Felissa to speak.

"Umm, okay... Uhhh..." Felissa wanted to start the conversation, but she didn’t know how. Her brain couldn’t form a sentence because she thought of one thing.

"Let me guess, the meeting with your parents didn’t end up well—"Rosina guessed, but Felissa’s scream cut her off.

"I WANT TO MARRY VICENZO TOMORROW!" Felissa was embarrassed to say it, which caused her to scream out of her lungs.

"Oh... wow," Rosina blinked a couple of times to let it sink into her brain. "And then?" she added.

"But Vicenzo rejected me. He didn’t want me to propose to him!" Felissa exclaimed in frustration and sighed deeply.

"I mean... It’s supposed to be his responsibility to propose to you," Rosina crutched her eyebrows since she was not surprised at Vicenzo’s reaction but did with Felissa’s bold actions.

"I know, but if I wait for him... It will take too long!" Felissa complained with a pout.

"You don’t need to rush it since there are still unresolved problems," Rosina stated, hinting at Felissa’s family situation.

"Yes, but marrying Vicenzo will solve everything. Nothing can be done after that," Felissa reasoned to make her actions seem valid.

Rosina pursed her lips since she wanted to argue. She wanted Felissa to understand that not everything would revolve around getting mated, and it should not be the main focus of the relationship. Still, knowing Felissa, she chose to be silent and let her friend do what she wanted.

"Well, what’s your plan now?" Rosina asked and flicked her tongue. She was a little bit irritated but tried her best to stay calm.

"Well, I can’t do anything if Vicenzo doesn’t want to marry me tomorrow.... But can I ask you something?" Felissa whispered and fondled the fabric of her clothes.

"What is it?" Rosina sighed deeply and caressed her stomach, which had grown bigger.

"Well, can I mate with Vicenzo even though we are not yet married?" Felissa muttered shyly. She wanted to have sex with Vicenzo so badly, one of the reasons she wanted to get attached to him immediately.

Rosina wasn’t even surprised by Felissa’s question. She smiled defeatedly and grabbed Felissa’s hands, squeezing them softly. "Felissa, you can mate with Vicenzo all you want since you are mates, but please, don’t romanticize sex and focus on more important things, like getting to know each other better," she stated with concern.

Felissa pursed her lips since she felt that Rosina was controlling and indirectly telling her not to f^ck her mate. That feeling bugged Felissa inside, and she wanted to scream, but she couldn’t since Rosina was the only one she could depend on besides Vicenzo.

All Felissa wanted to hear was Rosina agreeing with what she thought was right. She wanted her friend to support her even though it sounded stup1d, and since Felissa didn’t get what she wanted, it hurt her.

"I don’t romanticize sex," Felissa replied and looked away.

"Of course," Rosina smiled and stood up from her seat. "I shall do some work. You decide what you want, Felissa. Whatever the result of your actions, you must take responsibility," she added.

"Yes, I will," Felissa stood up with a bright grin. Although, it was only a facade. She lowered her head in a bow and left the room hurriedly to go find Vicenzo.

Rosina sighed deeply and plunged onto her seat with a stressed look. "Felissa, what the hell are you doing?" she muttered, massaging her scalp. She had been trying to work in the darkness to locate and finish the job regarding the Mystic pack’s plan along with Cinzia, the previous Queen.

Rosina remembered how Vanda told her that Felissa had a role to play in the next Chapter, but she was afraid it was more complicated than she thought.

"It’s alright, it will be fine," Rosina told herself before grabbing some paperwork.

On the other side, Felissa was grumbling. "She should bless our marriage instead of lecturing me!" she said while gritting her teeth.

Felissa walked toward the arena when she saw several knights in uniform going in that direction. She was also curious due to the noises coming from that place.

"Is there an event?" Felissa muttered while she walked. There was a huge crowd full of men and several female knights cheering.

Felissa pushed through, and when the knights saw her, they created a path. That was she saw Vicenzo getting battered by Biagio Lorenzo, the Gamma.

"Stand up, Vicenzo. You need to learn how to fight better," Biagio stated harshly before kicking Vicenzo in the stomach, which caused him to groan in pain.

"Wait! Stop—" Felissa was about to rush and save Vicenzo, but a hand stopped her.

"Lady Felissa, please don’t get involved with your mate’s training," Silvio stated sternly and looked into Felissa’s eyes to show that he was serious.

"But he’s getting hurt!" Felissa argued and tried to go forward, but Silvio held her arm and pulled her back, preventing Silvio from seeing her.

"This is an order, Lady Felissa. Your mate needs training in a way to save you rather than a skill to murder people," Silvio leaned forward and whispered those words in Felissa’s ear.

Felissa’s body trembled. She had forgotten that Vicenzo was a spy from the enemy side and had the capabilities to easily sneak around and kill a life mercilessly.

Silvio removed his hand from her and watched Vicenzo fight the Sabrecrown’s Gamma. It was an unfair fight since Vicenzo wasn’t allowed to fight back but to defend himself.

Vicenzo used to be the one to strike first, an offence skill greatly enhanced to spill blood, but since he became someone that needed to protect Felissa. He needed to learn every defence skill he could.

’For Felissa, I will do everything to protect her, and by then, it will be the time to put a ring on her finger and make her mine,’ Vicenzo thought before covering his face as Biagio kicked him again.

"Sir Silvio, Can you please tell Sir Biagio not to kick my mate in his... uhh, family jewels," Felissa muttered while tugging Silvio’s shirt to grab his attention.

Silvio furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Lady, we don’t do that here," he said nonchalantly.
