After hours of travel, they finally arrived at the Midnight pack.

Felissa was a trembling mess. She was nervous about the outcome of their arrival and hoped her parents would accept Vicenzo into the family. She also didn’t notify her parents of their coming since she wanted it as a surprise.

Vicenzo noticed his mate’s discomfort. He grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckle. "Don’t worry. It will be fine," he said with a soft smile.

"Thank you, Sir Vicenzo," Felissa sighed with relief.

"About that, we should drop the titles before our names. After all, we are mates," Vicenzo stated with a laugh. He had thought about how formally they talked to one another as if there was still a barrier.

"Wh-what!?" Felissa exclaimed in surprise. She had never thought about dropping their titles while calling each other.

Vicenzo smiled and blinked a couple of times. He didn’t want to repeat himself since he knew Felissa had heard his words. He caressed her hand and looked into her eyes.

"Felissa," Vicenzo stated lovingly, and his voice melted Felissa’s heart.

Felissa opened her mouth to reply, but she was still in a state of shock. Happiness burst into her heart, and warmth followed.

"Vicenzo," Felissa finally had the energy to say her mate’s name. The feeling overwhelmed her, and she couldn’t help but jump into Vicenzo’s arms and hug him tight to show how much she loved him.

Both were into the moment when the carriage suddenly stopped, and they nearly fell to the floor if Vicenzo wasn’t able to hold his balance.

"Sir, Lady, we have arrived!" the coachman yelled to notify them.

"We’re here!" Felissa exclaimed happily and opened the window, only to see several knights approaching them.

"I’ll take care of this," Vicenzo stated and was about to leave, but Felissa held into his shirt and pulled him back.

"You are no longer my knight, Vicenzo. You’re my mate, and I’ll handle this one," Felissa said before opening the door to reveal herself.

The knights immediately recognized Felissa, and they bowed to her in respect.

"Lady Felissa, we didn’t expect your arrival," one of the knights stated.

"Then you better not ruin my surprise to the Alpha and Luna," Felissa stated sweetly since her character in the pack was known as a lovable and innocent wolf.

"Yes, Lady. We won’t inform them of your arrival," the knights agreed and made a path for them.

"Thank you," Felissa smiled at them before returning inside. The carriage started moving and entered the gates of the Midnight pack.

"That was good," Vicenzo complimented Felissa. It was his first time seeing her speak authoritatively, even though she sounded sweet.

"Thank you! I practised a lot not to stutter in front of people due to my uncontrolled nervousness," Felissa explained with a shy smile.

"Your hard work paid off. You are doing great," Vicenzo patted Felissa’s head as comfort.

"Are you nervous about meeting my parents, Vicenzo?" Felissa asked to divert Vicenzo’s attention since her face was burning red from the pat.

"Hmm, I’m worried since I’m not a noble but a bastard son," Vicenzo expressed timidly. It was always his concern that his status was not enough for Felissa. After all, she was born with full noble blood.

"Don’t say that," Felissa replied, holding Vicenzo’s hand to reassure him. She didn’t know Vicenzo’s background that well, but knowing he was her mate was enough.

"I think you need to know me sincerely before introducing me to your parents so that you can decide if I’m still worth it," Vicenzo stated firmly. All the words that Caj told him about his status and worth in being with Felissa came back like a storm, destroying his self-confidence.

Vicenzo was still deep in thought when he felt a soft warmth on his lips, and he realized that Felissa had given him a quick kiss on the lips.

"Sorry, I want to give you a deep kiss, but I’m trying to control myself," Felissa turned to the side to hide her face. She couldn’t also believe she had done such a thing to Vicenzo.

Vicenzo blinked a couple of times to register what had happened, but his body reacted quicker than his mind. He grabbed Felissa’s hips and pulled her close, making her sit on his lap.

"Kyah!" Felissa squealed in surprise and put her legs on either side for comfort, but that position made her hips sit directly on Vicenzo’s crotch.

"Ughh!" Vicenzo groaned and shut his eyes tightly to control himself. He could feel Felissa’s heat, and that thrilled his c0ck.
