Alpha's Bite Between My Legs
Chapter 322: The Choice

Chapter 322: The Choice

Felissa was shaking internally. She didn’t know what to do and wished it was all a bad dream. She could feel the carriage moving, and it was noiseless. She didn’t know how long it was, but they stopped.

’What should I do?’ Felissa thought nervously and felt someone yanking her body. She was forced to open her eyes and saw Caj smirking at her.

"You’re finally done with your acting, Lady Felissa," Caj stated before pulling Felissa closer and wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

Felissa tried to speak, but only a muffled sound was heard, which made Caj laugh in amusement.

"Save your energy, Lady. You will need that later," Caj stated, dragging Felissa with him to the entrance of the 13th pack, where Rosina was waiting with a serious face.

"Ah, you’re early today.... Lady Rosina," Caj stated, addressing Rosina in her old status before she became a Queen.

Rosina’s eyebrow twitched at Caj’s disrespect, but she calmed down and shrugged it off. "What do you want?" she asked sternly.

"You know what I want! Hand over Queen Cinzia, and I will return your little friend... safely," Caj stated, tightening his grip on Felissa, which made her flinch in pain.

Rosina remained calm, but she wanted to punch Caj in the face but decided to do even worst... later.

"Very well," Rosina replied and stepped aside. Behind her were two knights pulling Cinzia forward.

"Lord Caj!" Cinzia exclaimed in delight upon seeing one of her allies. She wanted to run toward him, but the silver chains prevented her from doing so.

"Your Majesty," Caj stated with a bow of respect. He liked how he called Cinzia by her old title in front of Rosina. He thought he could piss Rosina off, but when he looked up, he saw a playful smirk on her face.

"Since we came into terms. Give Felissa to me," Rosina stated with pure confidence and calm manner, which made Caj believe something was off.

’Something is not right,’ Caj thought and gritted his teeth. He was expecting a bit of struggle from Rosina and was surprised at how easy and fast were their transaction.

Felissa’s eyes widened. She was delighted she would be safe if she was handed back to Rosina, but her guilt was eating her alive. She knew that Rosina held Cinzia in the 13th pack to prevent the enemies from getting more robust and giving Cinzia freedom would do nothing but chaos. She didn’t want to be the reason for the new Monarch’s destruction and for another war to break out.

"No, I also need you to give Crown Prince Gastone to us," Caj demanded, pulling Felissa back.

"Gastone is currently not here," Rosina replied with squinted eyes. No one knew about Gastone’s whereabouts, even Cinzia, except Draco and Vicenzo.

"What?" Caj was baffled. He thought Gastone was with Cinzia in the 13th pack.

"What did you do to my son!?" Cinzia shouted in disbelief. She thought Gastone was placed in another cell away from her, and hearing that her son was not there made her anxious.

"Don’t worry. I’m sure Gastone is having fun being a woman’s toy," Rosina stated, and her grin widened. She liked how their faces twitched upon hearing her words.

"You b^tch!!!" Cinzia shouted and was about to pull Rosina’s hair, but the warriors pulled her back in full strength.

"I know," Rosina giggled sarcastically and flipped her auburn hair. She didn’t care about them calling her names since she was used to it and knew she was worst than a b^tch.

"YOU!" Caj shouted, taking a dagger from his pants and aiming it at Felissa’s neck to threaten Rosina. "Where is Prince Gastone!?" he added.

"Who knows," Rosina shrugged playfully. "But you should ask where your sister is," she added, glinting with excitement.

Caj’s face became pale. He didn’t want to think about the bad things Rosina might have done to his sister and thought about it as a bluff.

"Don’t fool me around. That kind of tactic isn’t working," Caj laughed, but his voice showed discomfort.

"Oh, am I fooling around?" Rosina replied and looked at Felissa, giving her a reassuring smile. Then she stepped to the side, and a cloud of black smoke formed behind her.

Everyone was surprised and frightened since it was not typical for that cloud to appear out of nowhere. Then Rosina put her hand inside and pulled Lady Trice, Caj’s sister, out of the dark smoke.

"Trice!!!" Caj shouted upon seeing his sister, who was unconscious in Rosina’s arms.

"What can you say with my little magic trick?" Rosina stated with a grin and caressed Trice’s hair as if it was her pet.

"Don’t you dare hurt my sister!" Caj shouted and forgot about Felissa. He pushed her aside and rushed toward Rosina, aiming to get Trice, but he stopped when Rosina placed a similar dagger into Trice’s neck.

"I don’t think that’s a good idea," Rosina stated, indicating what Caj was about to do.

Caj gritted his teeth and took a step back. By this time, Felissa used the opportunity to run away and escape, but she felt something grab her foot, causing her to fall. When she turned around, she saw a skeleton hand wrapped around her ankle before it sank to the ground.

Caj’s men immediately grabbed Felissa and took her with them since she was their pawn to get what they wanted.

Felissa knew it was Rosina’s power but couldn’t understand why. She thought Rosina made an opportunity for her to escape.

"You got to choose, Lord Caj. Your dear sister, or Cinzia," Rosina asked sweetly, digging the dagger deeper into Trice’s neck, drawing blood from her skin.

"Pick me, Lord Caj! With me by your side, we can take over the pack and keep Lady Trice safe!" Cinzia shouted toward Caj. She didn’t want to waste an opportunity to leave the 13th pack. Deep inside, Cinzia didn’t care whether Lady Trice would die. For her, the Mystic pack was only a pawn in her board.

Rosina smiled since she liked how the story went, and it played to what she wanted. "Give me your answer, Lord Caj. You see, I am not very patient," she stated menacingly.

Caj’s body shooked. His eyes were looking at Cinzia and Trice, weighing the pros and cons of his choices.

On the other side, Lady Trice’s mind was awake, and she could hear everything around her. Rosina only cast a paralysing spell on her body, so she couldn’t fight back.

"Don’t f^ck around with me! I still have Lady Felissa! I can kill her anytime I want!" Caj shouted as an act to subdue Rosina.

"It goes the same for me," Rosina replied, pressing her cheeks into Trice, indicating that she could kill his sister any moment. "You should be thankful that I’m giving you a choice rather than forcing my way to get Lady Felissa from you," she said with giggle.

"You!..." Caj had no words to say. His mind was shambled and stopped working.

"The clock is ticking," Rosina said, but her eyes looked afar as if she was waiting.

Caj’s men surrounded the area and were waiting for an order from their Captain while Rosina was alone with two warriors. Even with their ratio, they knew they had no match with Rosina based on what had happened the last time they invaded the 13th pack.

"I will choose the Queen!" Caj shouted with full force upon seeing the dagger kept piercing Trice’s skin. He breathed loudly while looking straight into Rosina’s eyes. He wanted to choose his sister, but he knew that everything would be over if he didn’t pick Cinzia.

"Very well," Rosina smirked before gesturing for the warriors to let Cinzia go. They obeyed and stepped back.

Cinzia immediately ran toward Caj for protection and safety, but Caj felt his heart sink upon giving up on his sister, Trice, for his duty.
