Chapter 321: The Pawn

Felissa came back into her room with a long face. She jumped back into her bed and stared at the ceiling.

"Another attack... They can’t just give up," Felissa muttered with a long sigh of defeat. She wanted to talk to Vicenzo about his reason for joining the enemy’s side, but she was still not ready to face him yet.

Felissa sat up and looked at Snow wagging its tail.

"Aww, Snow, come here," Felissa stated cheerfully and gestured for Snow to come forward, which the dog obeyed.

"You’re so sweet! Are you hungry? I’ll get you some food," Felissa added before standing up and planning to go to the kitchen, but when she opened the door. An unknown servant was standing outside.

"Hello, are you Lady Felissa?" the servant stated lowly. Her face wasn’t shown since a cloth was draped over her head.

Felissa furrowed her eyebrows since she hadn’t seen that servant before, and her aura was weird. Snow barked and got Felissa’s attention. She turned around to her dog and saw Snow in a defensive position while growling.

"Snow?" Felissa whispered and realized what it meant. Her eyes widened upon shifting around, and she saw the woman’s hand coming to her face. Before she could react, the darkness consumed her.

"Wake up... Wake up..."

A whisper was heard, but it was faint that Felissa couldn’t understand it.

"If you don’t wake up. You won’t be able to have sex."

That sentence made Felissa’s mind activated entirely, and her eyes opened. She could only see pure darkness and realized she had a blindfold. She tried to speak but couldn’t because of the cloth inside her mouth.

’Who’s that?’ Felissa thought and tried to focus her hearing, but she heard nothing around her. ’Where am I?’ She added.

Felissa was still groggy from what had happened and had difficulty recalling her last memory and how she ended up in that position.

’That servant!’ She exclaimed in her mind.

Felissa’s heart began to beat loudly, and she couldn’t help but panic since she knew she was kidnapped, but who was it?

’I need to get out of here!’ Felissa moved her extremities. She detected her wrist and ankles were bonded with a tight rope. They were so taut that each move caused a laceration on her skin.

Felissa grimaced in pain, but she took it all in. ’I need to mind-link them!’

She focused her attention on opening the link, but she couldn’t. Her wolf was nowhere to be seen in her mind.

’My wolf... it’s gone!’ Felissa was devastated, and her body was shaking to the unknown. She didn’t want to think about what had happened to her, which led to her wolf vanishing.

Felissa was about to think of another way when she heard faint footsteps getting closer. She froze and immediately calmed her beating heart, showing she was still asleep as her facade.

The door burst open, and multiple men entered the room, but they all stayed behind. One man stepped forward and stood in front of Felissa.

Felissa was digging her nails into her skin at the back to feel pain and distract herself from her reality. Then a familiar oozing scent entered her nose, and she nearly broke down to tears.

"Why is my mate in here!?" Vicenzo’s voice boomed in the room.

"Ah, you’ve finally arrived, Vicenzo. I thought you’ll be gone for so long. I missed you a bit," Caj, the son of the Mystic’s pack Alpha, stated sarcastically.

"Why is my mate here, Caj!" Vicenzo shouted and grasped Caj’s collar. He was angry since he didn’t know that Caj’s new plan involved Felissa, who he tried to protect so much.

"Don’t worry. I won’t harm her as long as she cooperates with me," Caj stated and forcefully removed Vicenzo’s hand on him.

"I don’t approve of this!" Vicenzo growled and glanced at Felissa. His heart dropped at how she was lying on the ground, unconscious.

"I don’t need your permission to do what I want, bastard!" Caj yelled since Vicenzo was getting on his nerves.

"You! You’re not getting away from this!" Vicenzo growled loudly and was about to attack Caj, but the other wolves grabbed his arms and dragged him outside.

"HARM MY MATE, AND I WILL KILL YOU!" Vicenzo screamed at the top of his lungs before he was thrown outside.

"That bastard dares to shout at me. He’s a useless f^cker!" Caj stated angrily and wiped the parts of his clothes that Vicenzo touched.

"What should we do now, Captain?" his men asked.

"We will enter the 13th pack now. Be ready," Caj commanded, and his men followed him without questions.

When they were alone, Caj went closer to Felissa and knelt down.

"Lady Felissa, huh? What a lucky bastard to have mated with you. The only daughter of an Alpha and your mate will get the title without fighting for it. Aside from that, your innocent beauty is well-known to the public," Caj muttered, talking to himself. A smirk appeared on his lips when his eyes landed on Felissa’s exposed legs.

Caj’s mind was full of evil and sexual thoughts. He was about to touch Felissa when one of his men called out for him. "Captain, your troops are ready!"

"Ugh..." Caj’s groaned and stood up, walking away from her. Then two men went inside and lifted Felissa’s body to take her with them. She was placed in a carriage with Caj to keep her from escaping.

As for Vicenzo, he was put behind silver bars to prevent him from ruining their plans. Caj wanted to use Felissa as their pawn and exchange her life for the previous Queen, Cinzia. He knew he couldn’t beat Rosina, no matter how much manpower he had. They would all turn to specks of dust.

"Do your best to beg your friend, Lady Felissa, or else I will kill Vicenzo’s mother," Caj stated with a smirk. He knew Felissa was awake when she entered the carriage with him due to her raging heartbeat.
